00:00Systematic Aviation Services' Sindhiran Berhad has been plunged deeper into crisis
00:07after the resignation of two key senior officers, leaving the company without essential compliance
00:13and quality management, sources say. According to sources, the two senior staff who quit
00:19two weeks ago were the company's nominated Quality Assurance Manager for Continuing Airworthiness
00:24and Approved Maintenance Organization, as well as the nominated Engineering Manager.
00:30In an official email complaint to the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia cited by FMT,
00:36an aviator urged the regulator to suspend approvals due to the current lack of compliance
00:41and quality oversight, citing concerns for air safety. The employee's Provident Fund
00:46has also instructed its lawyers to enforce a RM4 million payment judgment against SAS
00:53for unremitted contributions. The source said EPF is considering filing bankruptcy
00:57proceedings and restricting the company's directors from traveling abroad.
01:02Last month, SAS' Air Operations Certificate expired following a five-month suspension
01:08due to unpaid salaries and statutory deductions. Despite these challenges, SAS CEO Aida Adora
01:15Ismail assured staff that the company is committed to overcoming difficulties, stabilizing its
01:20finances, and seeing progress, particularly in the Indonesian market for aircraft maintenance
01:26services.
