00:00Well, having a hard time with this game kind of feels like a defensive, ugly toss up.
00:21How are you feeling about it?
00:23You know, I don't know about it being a defensive game because I really do look out there and
00:28see a lot of weapons on both sides of the ball.
00:31I think you've got Deshaun Watson ready to show that he's got these great weapons and
00:36Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, Jerry Judy, David Njoku.
00:40And then of course you've got Dak and C.D.'s ready to roll.
00:44So I don't know if it's necessarily going to be a defensive sort of game, although the
00:49defenses are both really, really good.
00:51So you're right.
00:52It is hard to predict.
00:54And I guess it just depends on which way it gets started and if it turns into somewhat
01:00of a shootout the way the last meeting did.
01:03What is Deshaun Watson now?
01:05I don't think anybody would say that he's met expectations there.
01:10Do they see him resurrecting his career the way that he was in Houston and what they expected
01:14to get?
01:15Well, here's the thing about Deshaun Watson.
01:18I think people have a tendency to forget that he was injured most of last season.
01:24It was in week three where he first suffered the shoulder injury.
01:28It was first diagnosed as a rotator cuff.
01:30Later on, after he suffered the fractured shoulder and underwent surgery, I did ask
01:34him, he alluded to the fact that he had been playing on this fractured shoulder for a couple
01:38of games and I asked him, is it possible he could have fractured it all the way back in
01:43week three?
01:44And he said, it's possible.
01:45Now, the Browns have maintained that he fractured the shoulder on November 12th against the
01:50Baltimore Ravens, but it's probably a little bit hard to say how it all went down in there.
01:56But nevertheless, he was injured almost the whole entire season.
02:01And so I don't think people can really judge his performance based on much of what we saw
02:06last year.
02:07So now that he looks pretty healthy, I think he should be a lot better this year.
02:12How much of, you know, you talk about the health issue there, does anything look like
02:16a guy whose confidence has been shaken when you watch him, or does he remain kind of resolved
02:21in that sense?
02:22You know, I think the thing is, he has not forgotten how to play football.
02:26And people seem to think that he has forgotten how to play football.
02:30But I think if he's healthy and his weapons around him are healthy and he likes this new
02:35offense and can adapt to it pretty quickly, I think he's going to be just fine.
02:40You know, I just don't think, just because he hasn't played a full season since 2020,
02:44I just think there's so much good football in him that it's in there.
02:49And it's just a matter of pulling it out of there.
02:51And we'll see if that gets going this season.
