02:10And demons might scream with their hate,
02:21but they will never defeat our love, our patriotism.
02:27We are here.
02:30Today, I want to remember in a very special manner since this community.
02:37It's been a long time since I visited this place.
02:44She visited this place a lot and our colony as well.
02:55Today, it's been 54 years since September 4th of 1970.
03:04A lot of us were kids.
03:07I was seven.
03:10I was six, actually.
03:13I wasn't born here.
03:18September 4th, 1970.
03:24Our lovely Republic of Chile won the elections.
03:29The greatest leader that Chile has had in centuries, Dr. Salvador Allende.
03:37We honor him with this video. Honor and glory for him.
03:55It happened in Chile.
03:57A people elected a president, a socialist president, Salvador Allende,
04:02arrived with the votes of the people after several attempts.
04:07Allende's president tried to win the process being elected with the legitimacy of people.
04:17And against him, several people fought.
04:23What an important occasion to honor this person, this doctor, healer of people,
04:31an example to follow of a man who preferred to destroy himself, to give up his ideals.
04:40First, they tried to conspire to avoid his election.
04:43But then when he won, they pretended to deny him from power.
04:49But then when he was ratified, from the first day, they started an economic and media war.
04:56But Allende, who was a social political leader, forged in the streets,
05:02tried to carry out the first socialist democratic revolution of America, but he couldn't achieve it.
05:14I won't take a step back. They should know it.
05:18But Salvador Allende, that day, when he resisted, he achieved eternal life and defeated the coup centers.
05:36And now he has sent to the history of our America and the heart of the Chilean, the people of Chile.
05:44That's why, as we say from Venezuela, long live for Salvador Allende, martyr of the Latin American peoples.
05:57Salvador Allende goes with us, a doctor, exemplary doctor, political social leader, socialist of the bravest.
06:09I might say that he is the biggest example of the left with courage that doesn't accept bravery
06:20and doesn't listen to advisory of empires and only listens to advices of the humble people.
06:31He was surrounded by tanks and given a period of time to give up with warplanes bought to defend the sovereignty of Chile.
06:46But he said, if you want to come for me, come.
06:51He had never had a gun, but that day he took it.
06:57Do you know who gave it to him? Fidel Castro.
07:00When they visited him in Santiago de Chile, he, along with a group with his partner, fought tanks and fascists.
07:19And then he immolated himself to leave an example.
07:25The example of a martyr that says to Latin America, we have to fight always,
07:31because the peoples that fight can achieve more than empires against the emergence of progressive nations.
07:49Then fascism arrived, and Allende denounced that in Chile a fascist right emerged,
07:59and he was told that was a lie, something similar to what has happened here.
08:07Then dictatorship arrived.
08:11The coup d'etat in Chile was called for the same of always Richard Nixon,
08:17President of the United States and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United States,
08:24who were denounced by Salvador Allende 20 or 30 years after the documents, the records of that emerged.
08:36The United States of America seems to be destined to cause misery in America.
08:47Bolivar said in 1899, the prophecy has been achieved, but it's over.
08:57They won't provoke misery and fascism in America.
09:03And in Venezuela we're given a lesson of dignity, patriotism and anti-fascism.
09:09Long life for Salvador Allende as a leader and example.
09:15Long life for a free Chile.
09:18Freedom for the people of Chile and the political prisoners of Piñera.
09:28More than 22,000 political prisoners who are being repressed, women, students, elderly.
09:40And where is Salvador Allende today?
09:44Where is he? Where is Chile? Chile, listen to me.
09:48Where is Salvador Allende today?
09:51Do you want to find him?
09:53Look for him in the streets of Caracas, in the streets of Venezuela,
09:57because the true children of Salvador Allende are here.
10:01We are the true children of the legacy of Salvador Allende.
10:09And if that hurts or bothers somebody, it's all right.
10:16Let's move on to Carupano.
10:21Let's move on to Carupano.
10:25They were delivering packages.
10:27Dr. Magalés, I was there in Carupano.
10:32The community of Carupano came to me and informed me about certain issues.
10:39In the hospital Santo Hannibal Dominici, we were there,
10:51and we're going to deliver packages for the hospital for the people of Venezuela.
