00:00Here's the PTV news now. The Department of Health ordered the Philippine Heart Center to remove the 50% down payment for patients who need heart surgery.

00:17According to Health Secretary Tedoro Herbosa, the 50% down payment is a miscalculation.

00:25The open heart surgery costs Php 600,000 to Php 900,000.

00:32This means that the patient must prepare Php 300,000 to Php 450,000 before starting the surgery.

00:41According to the camera, PHC has a Php 3 billion fund that can be used by indigent patients.

00:50Meanwhile, PHC Executive Director Aventura Jr. is in favor of changing the rate to help the patients.

01:02The Department of Justice clarified that there is no official request from Indonesia to conduct prisoner swap of former Bambang Mayor Alice Wu.

01:11According to DOJ Assistant Secretary and Spokesperson Atty. Nico Clavano, they did not receive any request to do so.

01:19The DOJ also explained that if there is a request for prisoner swap, it should go to the Department of Foreign Affairs.

01:30The process is that the official communications will go through the DFA, the Department of Foreign Affairs.

01:39So we will listen to them if they have a request to forward to us. But as of right now, there is no such request.

01:49The supply of sugar in the country is on the rise. According to SRA Administrator Pablo Luisa Escola,

01:56the production of sugar is estimated to reach 1.78 million metric tons by August 2025.

02:04The SRA continues to work to ensure that the supply of sugar is well-managed so that the Philippines will not depend on importation.

02:14Residents near Lamesa Dam continue to be warned to be alert as the rain continues to fall heavily.

02:23According to the weather forecast, the water level in the dam will reach 80.16 meters by 1 p.m.

02:32This is above the overflow levels of 80.15 meters.

02:36Because of this, there is a high possibility of flooding in some low-lying areas,

02:41particularly in areas near Tuliahan River, QC, Valenzuela and Malabon City.
