00:00The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. is still working to make the Filipino family feel more comfortable with their daily expenses.

00:12This is what the President assured following the slowdown of the inflation rate in the country.

00:21President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. agreed to lower the inflation rate this August,

00:27to 3.3% from 4.4% last July.

00:31President R. Marcos, Jr. also agreed to lower the rice inflation rate to 14.7% from 20.9% and meat inflation rate to 4.0%.

00:44Because of this, the Executive Board decided to expand the government of President Marcos, Jr.

00:50in different parts of the country to ensure that it can afford to buy.

00:55He will also ensure the adequate supply of pork, following the rollout of the vaccination against ASF,

01:01which he is also responsible for, to avoid the increase in the price of pork.

01:06The Executive Board also approved the government's plan for a lower price of gasoline.

01:11This is what the administration is doing to make every Filipino feel the change

01:17that is in the spirit of the new Philippines of the Marcos, Jr. Administration.

01:21However, the President assured that the work will continue

01:24to ensure that the country's development and development will continue

01:28for the comfortable life of every Filipino.

01:31Meanwhile, the Department of Agriculture believes that the price of rice will continue to fall in the coming months,

01:37following the alleged decrease of the Philippine Statistics Authority in rice inflation this August.

01:43The DA hopes that there will still be a 0.7% decrease in rice inflation,

01:48which will lead to a lower overall inflation rate in the country.

01:52In October, it is said that the effect of Executive Order No. 62 will be more noticeable,

01:56which will reduce the price of the rice being harvested.

02:00A single digit increase is good.

02:02We can see that after RTL, after a year, there was a big stability in inflation because of rice.

02:11It was only 2-4%.

02:14So, hopefully, we can reach that level again in the near future.

02:19Because of rice, the overall food inflation is about 25%.

02:26So, if the rice prices go down, the food inflation will go down,

02:31and it will have a big effect on the overall inflation numbers.
