00:00Some places in Bataan still have a wide river because of the deep, deep flood.
00:06Some residents blamed the problem to their drainage system.
00:12From the town of Hermosa, this is Ian Krug. Ian?
00:19You know, Mel, there are a lot of places in Bataan where the flood has already reached,
00:23but here in Daungan and Almacen, in the town of Hermosa, the flood has already reached the residents,
00:30especially now, Mel, and the rain will continue.
00:34There are still floods in some portions of the town of Dinalupihan.
00:43In the barangay Daungan of Hermosa, Bataan, it seems that some boats have already arrived in Bucana.
00:49This is the main transportation to and from the neighboring barangay, Almacen,
00:54because there is a possibility of a deep, deep flood.
00:58Although the water level in the center of the barangay is lower,
01:01in the chapel and in the neighboring Almacen Elementary School, three floors of the school are flooded.
01:07That's why more residents are staying in their homes.
01:12It was low yesterday.
01:14Now?
01:15The water level is rising. We are worried. The water is frightening.
01:19Others have already evacuated because their houses are already flooded.
01:23What will happen is, the water level will go down here, then it will increase.
01:27The water will go to us, even if the water level is lower than theirs, it will go to us.
01:35In the town of Dinalupihan, only one barangay still has floods according to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
01:42Among them are Puroc Cinco and Puroc Siete of Barangay Santo Nino, where the flood reached up to Baywang.
01:48Some children were able to take a bath in the flood.
01:52The danger and disease that they might get is not far away.
01:56Residents say that there is a problem with the drainage system, that's why the water does not flow immediately.
02:02All the channels that go to the drainage have no support screen.
02:10That's why all the garbage goes there.
02:12Our congresswoman and our mayor already have a program to increase the drainage system there.
02:26According to the captain of Barangay Almacen, the government has programs to reduce these floods,
02:33such as widening and deepening their rivers.
02:37That is the latest from Hermosa, Bataan. Back to you Mel.
02:41Thank you very much Ian Cruz.
