00:00Preparations for the Senate hearing on the service of the Arrest Warrant against Kingdom of Jesus Christ or KOJC
00:07leader Apollo Quiboloy and others are in full swing.
00:10Both the Philippine National Police or PNP and the KOJC
00:14are excited with the opportunity to present their sides and also learn more about the developments
00:20in the ongoing operation and other issues being linked to it.
00:24Benji Durango with the full details.
00:27Preparations are afoot inside the session hall of the Sanggunian Panglungsod in Davao City.
00:34Authorities of the KOJC, the LJU and the police are discussing the setup inside
00:39and the security outside the building, especially since KOJC members are expected to come tomorrow.
00:45There is a large LED monitor.
00:47Here, the PNP Pro-11 is expected to present and explain the circulating photos and videos
00:52about the alleged digging inside the KOJC compound.
00:56All of these will be presented by our regional director tomorrow in the committee hearing.
01:02A joint session will be held tomorrow afternoon regarding the service of the warrant of arrest
01:06to Apollo Quiboloy and others at the KOJC compound.
01:10Senator Ronald De La Rosa will represent the committee on public order and dangerous drugs,
01:15while Minority Leader Senator Coco Pimentel will represent the committee on justice and human rights.
01:21Other senators will also attend as part of the two committees.
01:24And if there's one thing the PNP and KOJC agree on, it's this.
01:28Both sides are excited about the committee hearing tomorrow.
01:32He will present what's happening inside, what are our efforts in finding Pastor Quiboloy.
01:40Because I felt that if the Senate would conduct an investigation,
01:44we would be able to have access to the ongoing tunneling activities that is being done.
01:51The hearing will be public and can be watched by everyone.
01:54At the Senate investigation, all evidence will be presented.
01:58In addition to photos and videos, the equipment brought in,
02:01and activities of the police inside will also be addressed during the hearing.
02:05All of these will be presented by our regional director tomorrow in the committee hearing.
02:10That's why he's happy. At least the whole country will know and other countries will also monitor
02:20what we're doing inside the KOJC.
02:25The hearing will start at 1 p.m.
02:27But it will be preceded by an ocular inspection of the KOJC compound at around 10 a.m.
02:33Torreon is confident that access will be granted to everyone.
02:36It is in aid of legislation. No one, not even a warrant of arrest can prevent that.
02:40The PNP Pro-11 still has no information on how the senators will conduct inspection.
02:46As of now, I have not received any information as to the whole process of the ocular inspection.
02:52Our regional director is also prepared.
02:55Both sides hope that through this investigation,
02:58clarity will be achieved on whether the search for the KOJC leader is still justified.
03:03Benji Durango, from The National TV, for New and Better Philippines.
