00:00On Thursday, the Venezuelan Attorney General Tarek William Saab was offered statements
00:05on the case of former presidential candidate for the far-right opposition candidate Edmundo
00:11González Urrutia.
00:13In this regard, Saab informed that during the meeting with González Urrutia's lawyers,
00:17José Vicente Jaro presented a letter acknowledging the Venezuelan justice system but denied direct
00:23links to the crimes.
00:25The Attorney General ratified the third summon issued for the former candidate and pointed
00:30out that González validated the false webpage where images of tally sheets of the presidential
00:36elections of July 28 were allegedly shown.
00:40In addition, the prosecutor's office has reportedly opened a criminal investigation
00:45to determine the responsibility of those who threatened to assassinate the prosecutor who
00:50is working on the case of the minutes presented by the extreme right.
00:55Furthermore, the Attorney General affirmed that González Urrutia was an excuse of the
01:00radical Venezuelan opposition to fill the country with violence.
