Surah Al-Kahf (The Cave) is the 18th chapter (surah) of the Quran with 110 verses and 12 rukus.. It was revealed in Mecca. The surah Kahaf mentions the wondrous story of a group of youthful believers who retreated from their unbelieving people to the hills and the seclusion of The Cave wherein God caused them to sleep for three hundred and nine lunar years as a sign to their people that God shall, indeed, raise the dead—and that also mentions the narratives of other marvels beyond ordinary human conception. Its name is derived from the story of the “Companions of the Cave” (aṣḥāb al-kahf) told at its beginning. This surah also deals with two other stories: Moses’ meeting with an unidentified figure , and the story of Dhuʾl-Qarnayn . A parable is put forward for the people of Mecca: the parable of the luscious gardens belonging to an arrogant and ungrateful man, which God reduces to dust. The surah opens and closes with references to the Quran itself. Whoever reads Surah Kahf on Friday, ALLAH will shower a light (NOOR) on a face that will last till the next two Fridays. Those who recite this Surah on every Friday, ALLAH will forgive all of his/her sins. Whoever reads Surah Kahf on Friday ALLAH will bless his house and protect him/her from poverty.

00:00And We send down from the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers.
00:21In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:27All praise is due to Allah, Who has sent down to His servant the Book, and has not made for it any crookedness,
00:39that He may warn of a severe punishment from Himself and give good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward,
01:01abiding therein forever, and warning those who say,
01:08They say, Allah has taken a son. They have no knowledge of it, nor do their fathers. A word has grown large that comes out of their mouths. They say nothing but a lie.
01:29So perhaps you will cause yourself to weep over their footsteps if they do not believe in this hadith, alas.
01:42Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth an adornment for it, that We may test them as to which of them is best in deed.
01:53Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth an adornment for it, that We may test them as to which of them is best in deed.
02:01Or do you think that the companions of the cave and the rock were of Our signs in wonder?
02:12When the young men turned to the cave and said, Our Lord, give us from Yourself mercy, and make easy for us from our affair a right course.
02:27So We struck upon their ears in the cave for a number of years. Then We raised them up that We might know which of the two parties was best in that which they stayed for a long time.
02:48We relate to you their story in truth. Indeed, they were young men who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.
03:01And We struck upon their hearts when they stood up and said, Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. We will not call upon other than Him a deity. Indeed, We will say, when He descends.
03:28These are a people who have taken besides Him deities. Why do they not come to them with clear proofs? So who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah?
03:52And when you have withdrawn from them and they worship none but Allah, then go to the cave. Your Lord will spread for you from His mercy and make easy for you from your affair a right course.
04:20And you will see the sun, when it rises, moving from their cave to the right, and when it sets, it sets them to the left, and they are in a state of fear.
04:37That is from the signs of Allah. Whomsoever Allah guides, he is the one guided. And whosoever He leaves astray, you will not find for him a guardian guiding.
04:55And you will think of them as shepherds while they are shepherds. And We will turn them to the right and to the left. And their dog, he will stretch out his arm in the middle. If you had looked upon them, you would have turned from them to flight, and you would have been filled with fear.
05:25And thus did We raise them that they might ask one another. One of them will say, How long have you stayed? They will say, We stayed a day or part of a day.
05:45They will say, Your Lord knows best how long you have stayed. So send one of you with this paper to the city, and let him see which is the purest food, and let him bring you provision from it.
06:15and let him bring you provision from it. And let him receive a reward, and let him not make known to you anyone. Indeed, if they should appear before you, they would stone you or return you to their religion. And you would not succeed, then, ever.
06:44And thus did We make it difficult for them that they might know that the promise of Allah is true and that the Hour is not to be feared therein.
07:00When they disputed among themselves over their affair, they said, Build upon them a building. Their Lord is most knowing of them. Those who have won over their affair said, We will surely take upon them a masjid.
07:30They will say, Three, the fourth of them is their dog, and they will say, Five, the sixth of them is their dog, a blow in the unseen.
07:44And they will say, Seven, the eighth of them is their dog. Say, My Lord is most knowing of their number. There is none who knows them except a few.
08:00So do not dispute among them except openly, and do not inquire among them about anyone. And do not say of anything, Indeed, I will do that tomorrow,
08:24except that Allah wills. And remember your Lord when you forget, and say, Perhaps He will guide me to my Lord, so that I may be nearer to that which is right.
08:44And they stayed in their cave three hundred years and increased by nine. Say, Allah is most knowing of what they stayed. To Him is the unseen of the heavens and the earth. Observe Him and listen.
09:05There is not for them besides Him any guardian, nor does He associate with Him in His judgment anyone. And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no substitute for His words, and you will not find besides Him any refuge.
09:35And be patient with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, desiring His Countenance. And let not your eyes deviate from them, desiring the adornment of the life of this world.
09:55And do not obey him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, and who follows his desire, and whose affair is ever in disorder.
10:22Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a Fire which envelops them in darkness. And if they seek to escape, they will be drowned in water like oil, burning their faces.
10:46Evil is that which they associate with Him, and evil is that which they associate with Him. Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, indeed, We do not waste the reward of one who does a good deed.
11:06Those will have Gardens of Eternity beneath which rivers flow. Therein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold,
11:34and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with
12:04bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with bracelets of gold, and adorned with
12:17she gave her food, and did not wrong him in the least, and We caused a river to overflow between the two of them.
12:30And he had a fruit, and he said to his companion, while he was speaking to him,
12:42I am greater in wealth than you, and more powerful than the enemy.
12:49And he entered his garden, and he was unjust to himself.
12:55He said, I do not think that this will ever perish,
13:05and I do not think that the Hour will ever come, and if I should be returned to my Lord, I would certainly find a better return than this.
13:29His companion said to him, while he was speaking to him,
13:34Do you disbelieve in the One who created you from dust and then from a sperm and then formed you into a man?
13:56But He is Allah, my Lord, and I do not associate anyone with my Lord.
14:07And why did you not, when you entered your garden, say, Allah willed it? There is no power except with Allah.
14:28If you see me, I am less than you in wealth and children.
14:36So it may be, my Lord, that He will give me something better than your garden,
14:45and He will send upon it a rainstorm from the sky, and it will become a high mountain,
14:59or its water will become deep, and you will not be able to ask for it.
15:12And he was surrounded by his fruit, and he began to turn his hands over what he had spent on it,
15:23while it was lying on its roofs, and he said, I wish I had not associated anyone with my Lord.
15:38And he had no party to help him other than Allah, and he was not able to help.
15:50There is loyalty to Allah, the truth. He is the best reward and the best reward.
16:04And set forth for them the matter of the life of this world as if We had sent it down from the sky,
16:22and the plants of the earth mixed with it, and it became dry, the winds blowing against it.
16:35And Allah is over all things competent.
16:45Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world, and good deeds are better with your Lord as a reward and better as a hope.
17:06And the Day We will move the mountains, and you will see the earth exposed, and We will gather them together, and We will not leave any of them.
17:19And they will be presented before your Lord in rows, saying, You have come to Us as We created you the first time.
17:31Rather, you have claimed that We will not make for you an appointment.
17:38And the Book will be placed, and you will see the criminals in awe of what is in it, and they will say, O our woe! What is this Book?
17:54And when We said to the angels, prostrate to Adam, they prostrated except Iblis.
18:23So they prostrated except Iblis. He was of the jinn, and he disobeyed the command of his Lord.
18:34Will you then take him and his progeny as allies instead of Me, while they are to you an enemy?
18:46Evil is the exchange for the wrongdoers.
18:50I did not make them witness the creation of the heavens and the earth or the creation of themselves, and I would not take those who mislead as allies.
19:12And the Day will come when they will say, Call the partners of mine whom you have claimed, and call them, but they will not respond to them, and We will place a barrier between them.
19:31And the criminals will see the Fire, and they will think that they will fall into it, and they will not find from it any escape.
19:45And indeed, We have extended in this Qur'an for the people every kind of example, and man is ever, most of all, in dispute.
20:03And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them and they asked forgiveness of their Lord, except that the way of the ancients should come to them, or the punishment should come to them readily.
20:28And We do not send messengers except as bearers of good tidings and warners.
20:36And those who disbelieve dispute about falsehood that they may take away with it the truth and take My signs, and I am not warned of mockery.
20:55And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the signs of his Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have sent forth? Indeed, We have placed upon their hearts a barrier that they may understand, and in their ears is deafness.
21:19And if you invite them to guidance, then they will never be guided. And your Lord is Forgiving, Possessor of Mercy. If He had seized them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment.
21:40Rather, for them is an appointment which they will not find other than it. And those cities We destroyed when they were wrongdoers, and We made for their destruction an appointment.
22:06And when Moses said to his servant, I will not leave until I reach the junction of the two seas or spend a period.
22:19So when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, so he took his way in the sea, fleeing.
22:31So when they had passed, he said to his servant, Give us our farewell. Indeed, we have received from our journey this reward.
22:46He said, Did you see when we turned to the rock? Indeed, I forgot the fish, and none made me forget it except Satan, that I should remember him. And he took his way in the sea, wondering.
23:09He said, That is what we were seeking. So he returned to their footsteps, narrating.
23:20Then he found a servant of Our servants. We gave him mercy from Us, and We taught him of Our knowledge.
23:35Moses said to him, Shall I follow you so that you may teach me of what you have been taught, rightly?
23:47He said, Indeed, you will not be able with me to be patient.
23:54And how can you be patient over that in which you have no knowledge?
24:00He said, You will find me, if Allah wills, patient.
24:10And I will not disobey you in any matter.
24:14He said, So if you follow me, do not ask me for anything until I give you from it a reminder.
24:28So they set off, until, when they boarded the ship, he broke it. He said, Did you break it to drown its people? Indeed, you have done a terrible thing.
24:47He said, Did I not say, Indeed, you will not be able with me to be patient?
24:54He said, Do not hold me to account for what I have forgotten, and do not make difficult for me my affair.
25:04So they set off, until, when they met a boy, he killed him.
25:14He said, Did you kill a pure soul without a soul? Indeed, you have done a terrible thing.
25:26He said, Did I not say, Indeed, you will not be able with me to be patient?
25:35He said, If I ask you for anything after this, do not accompany me. Indeed, you have reached from me an excuse.
25:48So they set off, until, when they came to the people of a town, they asked for food for their people, but they refused to host them.
26:07So they found therein a wall, which he wanted to break, so he erected it. He said, If you willed, you would have taken a reward for it.
26:23He said, This is the separation between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of what you were not able to do patiently.
26:37As for the ship, it belonged to poor people who worked in the sea, so I wanted to return it.
26:49And there was behind them a king who seized every ship by force.
26:57And as for the boy, his parents were believers, so we feared that he would make them transgress and disbelieve.
27:14So we wanted that their Lord should replace him with someone better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.
27:27And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and beneath it was a treasure for them, and their father was righteous.
27:44So your Lord intended that they should reach maturity and extract their treasure as mercy from your Lord, and I did not do it by my command.
28:08That is the interpretation of what you were not able to do patiently.
28:17And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say, I will recite to you from him a reminder.
28:27Indeed, We have established for him in the land, and We have given him of everything a way, so he followed a way.
28:42Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a boiling spring, and he found with it a people.
28:58We said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish, or you take in them good.
29:10He said, as for the wrongdoer, we will punish him, then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment.
29:29And as for he who believes and does righteousness, for him is the reward of good, and We will say to him of Our command, easily.
29:44Then he followed a way.
29:50Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it rising on a people whom We had not made a cover for them besides it.
30:03Thus it was, and We seized him with what he had of knowledge.
30:10Then he followed a way.
30:14Until, when he reached between the two mountains, he found besides them a people who could hardly understand a word.
30:34They said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are corrupting in the land, so shall we make for you an exception that you make between us and them a barrier?
30:57He said, What my Lord has established for me is better, so help me with strength that I may make between you and them a barrier. Give me the pieces of iron.
31:20Until, when he made between the two mountains, he said, Blow.
31:30Until, when he made it a fire, he said, Give me, I will pour over it a drop.
31:44But they could not remove it, nor could they make a cover for it.
31:54He said, This is a mercy from my Lord. So when the promise of my Lord came, He made it pure, and the promise of my Lord was true.
32:15And We left some of them that Day to waver among themselves, and the trumpet was blown, and We gathered them together.
32:28And We presented Hell, that Day, to the disbelievers as a display. Those whose eyes were in cover from My remembrance, and they could not hear.
32:53Did those who disbelieved think that they would take My servants as allies besides Me? Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a descent.
33:18Say, Do We inform you of the losers in deeds?
33:27Those whose effort has gone astray in the life of this world while they think that they are doing good.
33:43Those are the ones who disbelieved in the signs of their Lord and in meeting Him.
33:54So their deeds were in vain, and We will not give them a weight on the Day of Resurrection.
34:02That is their recompense, Hell, because they disbelieved and took My signs and My messengers as a mockery.
34:22Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a descent,
34:40Abiding therein, they will not desire from it any change.
34:47Say, If the sea were an extension of the words of my Lord, the sea would surely overflow before the words of my Lord would overflow, even if We brought with it the like of it.
35:12Say, I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that your God is one God.
35:31So whoever hopes to meet his Lord, let him do righteous deeds, and let him not associate anyone with the worship of his Lord.
