00:00Japan and Australia have pledged to continue supporting the Philippine Coast Guard or PCG

00:10In a joint statement, the defense and foreign ministers of Japan and Australia expressed
00:14concern over China's dangerous and coercive actions, reiterating the importance of freedom
00:20of navigation and overflight and the peaceful resolution of disputes in accordance with
00:25international law, particularly the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Tribunal Award.
