00:20The Department of Agriculture confirms farmers affected by Typhoon Christine will be taken care of.
00:26Lito Mukati of DA Karbinget said they have prepositioned aid for these farmers.
00:31This includes distribution of seedlings and farm inputs, among others.
00:35Mukati said affected farmers may report to their barangays and the barangays will endorse the report to the province and the DA regional office for proper intervention.
00:44Also, according to him, vegetable supply and prices at trading centers in the province are stable as of now.
00:51Meanwhile, farmers in La Trinidad Binget continue to monitor their farms for the possible effects of Tropical Cyclone Christine.
01:10John Ayawan, vice chairman of a farmers' association in town, said they continue to monitor especially their area is often flooded during heavy rains.
01:20He said they hope that the concerned government offices will also check on the waterways in the area to avoid flooding during Tropical Cyclones.
