00:00I'm joined by Steph Townsend, coach of Narendra's B-Grade Premiership winning side.
00:04Steph, you must be happy with that?
00:05Yeah, really happy.
00:06The girls, they were fantastic and they've capped off what was a stalling year and managed
00:12to get through as Premiers and Champions, which is an exceptional thing.
00:16And they started well, they were on fire from the start, you must have been happy with that?
00:19Yeah, the start, we put a lot of emphasis on our first quarter and we have throughout
00:24the season and I thought they executed the first quarter really well.
00:27And how have you enjoyed the year?
00:28Have you seen a lot of promise, seen a lot of good play?
00:31It's been so fun, they're the best bunch of girls to coach and yeah, I've enjoyed it.
00:36It was really nice to step back into the coaching ranks after a few years off and yeah, I mean
00:41I'm very fortunate to come away with a medal that the girls really worked super hard for
00:46that yeah, I loved every second of it.
00:47And a good start for the club, you've got two more finals for the Netball.
00:50Yeah, it was pretty nerve-wracking actually because I was obviously the first game of
00:54three but hopefully that sets us up with the great momentum going forward.
00:58And Shannara Drayton's best on court, must have been impressed by her?
01:01Yeah, Shazzy's played fantastic all season, very consistent and I asked a fair bit of
01:06her today and she come out all guns blazing and it was so good.
