The Chairman of the TARC Education Foundation Board of Trustees and MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the movie promises a heartwarming journey that chronicles the lives of ordinary Malaysians striving for a better future through education during the early days of the nation's independence.
Dr. Wee said during his speech at the TAR UMT KL campus convocation ceremony on Saturday (Sept 7).

02:32seeking opportunities to create a better future and a better Malaysia through education
02:38in the early days of the nation's independence. This may be a strong story with the TAR College
02:46at its core, but the story of Tashems is about friendship, unity, peace and what defines a true
02:56Malaysian spirit. With this, I would like to invite every one of you to watch it when the movie is
03:04released at the end of this year. Dear graduates, TAU-UMT is honoured to send you off with a grand
03:12convocation celebration that will mark the conclusion of your education journey at TAU-UMT.
03:20Today, you'll be stepping on to this stage to receive your scroll as stepping up to the next
