00:00Cassandra Ong refused to face the Senate because of the stress she experienced.

00:05The Department of Interior and Local Government, or DILG, is leading the Interpol for the latest on West Liguo.

00:17After facing the Senate's inquiry and the Quad Committee of the Camera,

00:22now, Lucky South 99 Representative Cassandra Ong will choose to stay in prison instead of going back to the Senate hearing.

00:31According to her lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio,

00:35her client said that she would prefer to stay in the Women's Correctional Facility instead of facing the Judiciary.

00:44Her lawyer, Atty. Ralph Andrada, also added that Ong had problems with her health because of the stress from the legislative inquiries,

00:54including low blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

00:58The Camera first allowed the Senate Subcommittee in favor of Ong's investigation into her escape from the Philippines.

01:08The Quad Committee, which investigates the crimes committed by POGO, is the one giving the order.

01:16Meanwhile, DILG Secretary Benjamin Avalos Jr. said that they are already negotiating with international agencies

01:25for the return of West Liguo, a gambling executive, to the Philippines.

01:29They are still looking for him after arresting his siblings, Alice Liguo and Sheila Liguo.

01:36According to Justice Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Mico Clavano,

01:40West Liguo can use the illegal exit of West Liguo as a basis to be arrested and returned to the Philippines as soon as possible.
