Bulletstorm VR review on Quest 3

I’ve seen so many negative reviews on this game today, but i honestly don’t think people are playing it for long enough and are just interested in getting there refund money.
The game isn’t that terrible, I’ve had alot of fun on it today and im quite enjoying the whole thing, anyway, check out my video to hear my thoughts.

As an exiled member of the elite assassin group Dead Echo, blinded by a thirst for vengeance, Grayson gets stranded in the hostile world of Stygia, where he has to confront the ex-commander who betrayed him.
EXCLUSIVE TRISHKA CONTENT
For the first time, lace up your badass mercenary babe boots as the legendary Trishka Novak exclusively in Bulletstorm VR. Dual-wield your new Energy Blade weapons to carve your way through mutated hordes in 2 brand-new levels.
UNLEASH CREATIVE CARNAGE
Use power kicks, slides, charged shots, explosives, and your environment to execute a symphony of Skillshots. Aim for maximum carnage combos to ramp your rewards and unlock new weapons, charge shots, and ammo capacity.
FIREPOWER AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
Take the iconic Energy Leash and the entire Bulletstorm arsenal of weapons to the next level with exclusive dual-wielding in VR! See an enemy out of reach? Pull them in closer to admire the barrel of your gun or fling them into oncoming bullets for some not-so-friendly fire.

00:00Here's a game that was bringing a lot of hype and build up with it and when it got
00:06released everyone was hating on it. Now I'm not going to jump on the hate train for this
00:12game because I'm quite enjoying it. It reminds me a little bit of playing Unreal Tournament
00:19on my PlayStation 3 all those years ago. The graphics could be better especially on the
00:25Quest 3 but they are certainly not disastrous. Now I've never played this game before so
00:32I don't have anything to compare it with. What I do like about it is the weapons. Nice
00:38choice of weapons as you play through the game. For me personally I've never come across
00:43weapons like it in games before so it felt fresh to me. I like sending off an explosive
00:49sniper round that I had total control over the movement by using my head to guide the
00:55bullet then I could move the enemy a few metres close to his buddies and then detonate the
01:00explosive taking out 3 or 4 enemies out. The weapons upgrades are a decent idea too but
01:08it also feels like it was a bit rushed. I enjoyed playing the female character more
01:13than the male because she had a sword which was good fun hacking through multiple enemies
01:19in one swoosh. I also liked the backdrops in this game however it would have been nice
01:26to have more than one direction to go rather than just following a set out path. The story
01:34is a standard story and I quite enjoyed it however I'm not a fan of the 2D cutscenes
01:41in VR and these cutscenes were sometimes painful on the eyes to watch and occasionally
01:47they didn't even work but you do have the option to skip the cutscenes all together.
01:53The controls are good not too difficult to get the grasp of though at times I would grab
01:59a magazine out of my ammo belt when I was trying to use my hand powers instead. Occasionally
02:06quite frustrating. I'm also disappointed that there's no online multiplayer death
02:11match in here. In this day and age of VR games and for a game like this I feel it's pretty
02:18vital that a game has online multiplayer options. So for me personally I'm enjoying plodding
02:26along through the game kicking enemies around the joint and using the sniper rifle. I really
02:33do hope they will work on updates for this game and bring it into a time where VR games
02:39should be moving forward and pushing limits. For the price they charge for this game they
02:45really should have put more time and care into many areas of it. It's not the worst
02:49game I've ever played and I have no regrets buying it but £10 is a more realistic price
02:56tag for this game so I would wait until it hits a 50 or 60% off sale. So on that note
03:04I'm going to rate this game at a 27 out of 40 and you can find my scoring system in a
03:10description section below. Now enjoy the rest of my gameplay please give me a like if you
03:16enjoyed this video, comment if you have played it and your thoughts on it. The more people
03:21that comment the more it helps others to form a decision about whether or not to buy
03:26the game. Don't forget to subscribe as it really helps me out. Just remember I only
03:32get paid if you watch my videos. Thanks guys have a good one.
