00:00The DAP has made it clear that YB Teresakop is not at fault.
00:09He is just doing his job as a parliamentarian.
00:14DAP National Chairman Lim Guan Eng has rejected accusations that MP Teresakop
00:20had touched on race, religion and royalty issues
00:23with her recent comments about halal certification.
00:26We hope that she will be handled professionally
00:31where a parliamentarian should be given the opportunity
00:35to carry out the duties entrusted to her by the judges.
00:42Around 40 DAP members including Lim and party advisor Tan Kong Wai
00:46gathered to support Kong after police recorded her statement
00:50for almost two hours at Bukit Aman.
00:53So far, the investigation has been carried out under several articles.
01:01Article 298 of the Penal Code, Article 505 of the Penal Code
01:10and Article 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.
01:17Last Thursday, Religious Affairs Minister Naim Mokhtar said
