00:00Hi, welcome back to my channel. In this video, I will explain the ending of Daniel Spellbound

00:04Season 2. So, let's begin.

00:07Daniel Spellbound Season 2 follows the titular Tracker as he tries to rejoin the Tracker's

00:11guild, while a hunt for the Scepter of the Primus puts the whole world at risk of an

00:15evil takeover. Just to let you know this video will contain spoilers.

00:19The previous season of Daniel Spellbound ended with Daniel getting revelations about his

00:22family and him and Hoagie, saving the city from an organization that wanted to take all

00:27the magic in the world all for themselves. Those villains were defeated, and Lucy became

00:31the new leader of the magical police force that keeps order in this world.

00:35However, by the end of the season, we get the news that Daniel has been expelled from

00:39the Tracker's society, and now he is alone, a totally free agent in this dangerous world.

00:45Season 2 starts right there, and while it deals with some aftermaths from Season 1,

00:49it really tells its own story. Daniel is being persecuted by his enemies, but like always,

00:54he manages to outsmart them and remain in the safe zone. However, when trying to get

00:58their hands on a new job and a new ancient magical relic, Daniela and Hoagie almost perish.

01:04It is here that they are contacted by a new, very important character for this season.

01:09A young girl named Shaq. Shaq is a magic user, and she also comes from a long line of magicians.

01:15Like Daniel, she is also alone in this world, and she needs to be careful about whom to

01:19trust. She decides to trust in Daniel, and she hopes to recruit him and Hoagie into her

01:24own quest. You see, Daniel discovers that Shaq is looking for her older brother, a young

01:29man named Jace. Jace has disappeared, and no one has seen him for weeks. Shaq fears

01:35the worst, and because she is an unregistered magic user, she cannot go through the usual

01:39mediums, so she decides Daniel is her best option. Daniel is unsure at first, but Hoagie

01:45trusts Shaq very fast. However, when Shaq takes them to her cool hideout, Daniel discovers

01:50something that piques his interest. It seems that Jace was investigating Daniel before

01:55he disappeared. With this new information in mind, and knowing that Jace could be in

01:59trouble, Daniel accepts the offer to help Shaq find her brother. Does Daniel manage

02:04to stop the dread magic? However, like in any good show, things don't go the way our

02:09heroes wanted in the first place. It is revealed that Jace's quest and his research were not

02:14as innocent as they appeared at first glance. Jace was looking for something called dread

02:18magic. If the name is any clue, it is a powerful but dangerous magic that corrupts everything

02:24it touches. Daniel finds a magical armor that can help him battle that kind of magic, but

02:29he doesn't have all the pieces, not yet. Jace manages to manipulate Daniel and the rest

02:34of the team into helping him find this dreadful magic, and once he gets it, he betrays them

02:38without a second thought. He even lets his sister Shaq be transformed into stone, basically

02:43killing her in the process. All of it is in the name of power. The dread magic manages

02:49to corrupt Jace completely, and also Daniel to some extent. However, Daniel is strong

02:54enough to battle its influence and escape in time to help Lucy and Hoagie survive. The

02:59trio follows Jace back to the city. The dread magic seems to be opening portals to other

03:04realms, and it is letting bad things pass through them to our world. Daniel realizes

03:08he doesn't have enough power to do this by himself and asks Lucy to call the most powerful

03:13magicians in the city, some of the people who accept the call are quite unexpected.

03:17Together, they manage to create a magic field that can retain Jace and its magic. However,

03:23in the end, it is Daniel who strikes the final blow. Daniel realizes that he needs to trap

03:28the magic in some other place, as it was done in the past. He uses Jace's own energy to

03:34then trap the dread magic in a conventional bottle and Jace along with it. In the end,

03:39the world is saved once again, and part of the soul that was trapped inside the coffer

03:42by the dread magic manages to go back to Shack's body, bringing her back to life. Now that

03:48she is utterly alone, Hoagie and Daniel propose that she should join them and be part of the

03:51team. She accepts. The season closes with Burden coming back to town, looking for a

03:57weapon, as his next mission is to kill Daniel Spellbound.
