00:00The Israeli military released this, first of all, to the cabinet, which is known in
00:04its majority, I think we could safely say now, to oppose the current terms of the hostage
00:09deal, the proposal on the table.
00:11And we heard that from Israel's prime minister last week, and both in Hebrew and in English.
00:16So they are, I think, I think what you're seeing is an action, if you like, from the
00:22defence minister who says now is the time to end the operation in Gaza, which is wrapping
00:28up anyhow, and to focus more on the north.
00:31And from Israel's military, which says that there could be a six-week ceasefire without
00:36any danger to Israel's operation in Gaza and for the return or the rescue of as many hostages
00:42as possible.
00:43So it's very interesting, the timing and the fact that this was released first to the cabinet
00:48and last night to Israel's public.
00:50It is distressing footage, both because this is meant to be a transfer tunnel, a tunnel
00:54between two locations.
00:56You can't stand in it.
00:58There's very little air.
01:00And that's where they were held for a number of days or weeks.
01:02We don't yet know the six who were killed now two weeks ago, only a couple of days before
01:08their bodies were found.
01:10And it's very, it's been a turning point for the Israeli public.
01:13There's no doubt about that.
01:14You're seeing protests at much larger levels.
01:17As a story, it has not gone away.
01:19The pain is very fresh, remains for the Israeli public.
01:23Will it now also be a turning point for Israel's military and for, most importantly, for Israel's
01:28politicians?
