00:00There is another lawsuit filed against Diddy.
00:04This one is as salacious as it gets.
00:07Yes, and this one comes from someone he worked very closely
00:11with for years.
00:11In fact, Dawn Richard was on his last The Love album.
00:16She performed on that.
00:18But she became famous to the public
00:21as a member of Danity Kane.
00:22And then later in Diddy's trio, it was himself.
00:27The group was called Diddy Dirty Money.
00:29She was one of the three people, including
00:31Diddy, in that group.
00:33But now she is coming forward with some, as Harvey said,
00:37salacious tales about her time with him.
00:40Not only what happened to her, but what happened to Cassie
00:44and what happened to Kim Porter.
00:46Yes.
00:47So allegedly.
00:48Allegedly, according to Dawn Richard.
00:50Now she, in this lawsuit, says that there were times
00:55that she and the other member of Diddy Dirty Money,
00:58a woman named Kalanna Harper, that they witnessed Diddy
01:03abusing Cassie and that they encouraged
01:06Cassie to get away from him, which did not
01:09go over well with Diddy.
01:10And they say that he lashed out at them.
01:13They also say they saw Kim Porter.
01:15And we have not heard anything like this before,
01:20at least in the lawsuits.
01:22And she is saying she observed her, as you said, banged up
01:26and was alarmed for her.
01:29Yes, very alarmed about that.
01:31And that's, she said, Dawn says that's
01:32when she realized that he could be dangerous,
01:36not just to other people, but to her.
01:39And she was always on edge after that, she says in the lawsuit.
01:43As for Diddy's reaction to them speaking to Cassie
01:46and encouraging Cassie to leave him,
01:49this is what she says Diddy's reaction was.
01:52He said, y'all bitches don't get in my relationship.
01:55Don't tell my bitch what she need to be doing.
01:58Just make money and shut the bleep up.
02:02I end artists.
02:03I shelve careers.
02:05You could be missing.
02:06You bitches want to die today?
02:08Wow.
02:09Wow.
02:10The language is incredibly menacing.
02:11It's unbelievable.
02:12And there are countless other examples.
02:15This is a 100-page lawsuit.
02:16Right.
02:17And there's a lot of examples laid out that she's,
02:20these, again, are her allegations.
02:23But some of it lines up with the things
02:26that Cassie had said in her lawsuit.
02:28I think that's the point.
02:29I mean, obviously, we can't independently
02:31assess the allegations that are here in the lawsuit.
02:33But they do line up with what we have heard
02:36from other alleged victims, what we've seen, obviously,
02:39in the Cassie video, the abuse that happened there,
02:42the real exploitation of his power, his willingness
02:46to say and treat people in a very demeaning way
02:50when he exercises control and power,
02:52financial power over them, power
02:55within the industry over them.
02:57So sure, we can't assess this.
02:58But it does seem consistent with what you've heard
03:00and what we've seen from lots of other people.
03:02Now, there is somebody who came forward and disputed
03:06the claims that you made.
03:08In the past, Kalena Harper, who is, as I said,
03:11the third member of Diddy Dirty Money,
03:13she has said not specifically about Dawn in this case.
03:17She hasn't spoken out about this suit yet.
03:20But has said that all the people who are coming forward
03:23are, for the most part, she said, disgruntled
03:26former employees, people who are unhappy with how
03:29their careers turned out.
03:30And they're now turning on Diddy.
03:33Of Cassie, she said, I never witnessed
03:36any abuse against Cassie, which is interesting,
03:39because that's not what Dawn Richard is saying in her lawsuit.
03:42She's saying that Kalena and herself did see that abuse.
03:48What's going to be interesting, which I've always wanted
03:51to know as these lawsuits come out,
03:53have the feds talked to her?
03:55Have the feds interviewed her?
03:57Has she gone before the grand jury?
04:00How have the feds evaluated her credibility
04:04in deciding what to do?
04:05I completely agree.
04:07The civil cases, Diddy's got all the money in the world.
04:09He can pay out any judgment that he gets against him,
04:11he can pay out.
04:12The real issue is, does this translate
04:14to a criminal prosecution?
04:16Is this evidence usable in that prosecution?
04:19Because I think it's inevitable he's going to end up
04:21having to stand trial, I think.
04:23And can these allegations stand up against him?
04:27It seems, Kalena's point is interesting.
04:29If there is a voice out there that says,
04:30I never saw this, I was around him all the time
04:32and I never saw it, that's a really powerful thing
04:34that Diddy has in his quiver, because undoubtedly,
04:36some people out there would seek to file false claims
04:41against people in order to get money.
04:43That's what Diddy's saying.
04:44And so he maybe now has somebody in his corner on that.
04:48Hi, my name is Jordan Simone.
04:50I'm from North Carolina and I'm honestly glad
04:53that she's speaking out.
04:54No matter how much time passes,
04:56it's important that people stand up against this.
04:58He cannot get away with this,
04:59no matter what other people say.
05:00Well, we will see.
05:02I agree with Jason.
05:03I think charges are almost inevitable at this point.
