Alex Scott & Staff livestock manager David Setches gives an update on the Yea sale.
Transcript
00:00We had a lot of private and corporate support here today at Yey, which was pleasing.
00:08Cattle sold as dear as I have at Leangatha or Yey here last week, so very, very pleasing
00:16with how it all panned out today.
00:19Hopefully we can grow on numbers.
00:22We've got some bigger drafts of cattle to come as the season progresses, just with the
00:28cold weather and slow start, they just need a bit of cleaning off, but excited to hit
00:34the ground running here and see if we can grow the numbers and grow our monthly source
00:40up.
00:41So where were the cattle going today?
00:43They went back to South Gippsland.
00:45It was a bit of a heifer order.
00:48We went back to the border.
00:50Elders Yirral were quite strong.
00:52They brought some of the heavier steers to finish.
00:56So they sort of went local and back down south, which we had a good buying support
01:05from all points of the compass, really.
