00:00Once again, the government was able to stop the campaign against the abuse of the youth.

00:07This is after the arrest and return to the country of the notorious Filipino child sex trafficker, Ryan Lasigas, in the center of the news.

00:29were the ones who attacked the notorious child trafficker, Teddy J. Mojica Mejia, at Terminal 3.

00:35Mejia is a suspect in sexual exploitation of children.

00:39He was forced to take videos of minors to sell them on the dark web.

00:45More than 100 identified victims of the suspect are being released.

00:49It's worrying because these are minors who have no enemies.

00:54We are sure that this person will rot in jail.

00:58Mejia left the Philippines in 2021 and did not return to the country.

01:03He was arrested because of a red notice from Interpol.

01:07He also had a red notice from the National Bureau of Investigation.

01:10We have an agreement with the UAE that they will help us build our own internet capability or application to really look into the dark web

01:22and exploit those who use online, online sexual exploitation.

01:28He will face several cases, including statutory rape.

01:34The PNP admitted that it's hard to see this happening on the dark web because of the lack of facilities.

01:41The DILG is working with other countries to strengthen and expand the capabilities of the police in combating cybercrime.

01:51We hope that the Philippine National Police, with the help of our SILG and other countries,

01:57that we will be better in chasing such criminals.
