00:00Perhaps emboldened by the latest developments, more alleged victims of Kingdom of Jesus Christ or KOJC leader Apolo Quiboloy are coming out
00:09and seeking the help of the Department of Justice or DOJ, which bodes well for the cases that concerned government agencies are pursuing against the religious leader.
00:19Luisa Erispe has more.
00:22The Department of Justice is now coordinating with the Philippine National Police to file additional charges against KOJC leader Pastor Apolo Quiboloy.
00:32This after other victims, aside from Alias Amanda, communicated with the PNP, introducing themselves as victim of the church leader.
00:41Even the DOJ said there are others who sought the Department's help.
00:45Some of the victims approached us and asked to file their cases.
00:52We will coordinate with the PNP to see if their victims are ready to file their cases.
01:01We will coordinate to file new cases.
01:05The DOJ said it is willing to refer the Witness Protection Program to those posing themselves as victims.
01:12If not, the program can still offer help or protection for them.
01:16The other victims, if they want to be included in the Witness Protection Program, we are ready for that.
01:22They approached us and we will refer them to the WPP.
01:27They will be the ones who will coordinate their arrangements.
01:34Meanwhile, on the possible extradition request of the United States against Pastor Apolo Quiboloy,
01:40the DOJ said Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulia has acquired information that the request will soon reach the Philippines.
01:47However, it will first pass through the Department of Foreign Affairs.
01:51But once it reaches their office, they will thoroughly study if the cases of Quiboloy suffice for extradition
01:58under the existing treaty between the Philippines and the United States of America.
02:02Louisa Erispe, from The National TV, for a new and better Philippines.
