00:00Hold it, hold it, listen to me.
00:02Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most
00:06memorable instances of people getting heated while on live television.
00:10Well, if I have to teach you how to be a reporter, Ollie, I'll do that later.
00:15Number 30. A lesson in weather safety.
00:18If there's snow and ice on your vehicle,
00:20you should remove it as effectively as possible before driving.
00:23We're gonna break down the science behind wiping the snow off of your car.
00:28We know that might sound like we're stating the obvious,
00:31but apparently not every motorist is aware of this.
00:34In this memorable rant, KTVI meteorologist in St. Louis, Derek Kevra, passively-aggressively
00:40gives a demonstration in how to use a snowbrush and ice scraper.
00:44Once you've finished one side of the car, you're going to continue on to the next side.
00:49He says this is inspired by witnessing drivers the previous evening,
00:53who apparently didn't understand this.
00:55His sharp tongue makes for an amusing diatribe,
00:58but it also serves as an important reminder of road safety.
01:01Now, I know, I know, it seems like a lot,
01:04and you might think that you'll never be able to do it.
01:07But I promise, if you follow those simple steps,
01:10you too will be able to clear the snow off of your car.
01:14Hopefully, at least one of those drivers saw this and changed their neglectful ways.
01:19Number 29. Practice.
01:21Say the word practice in front of a basketball fan,
01:24and they'll instantly hear the voice of legendary NBA player Allen Iverson in their head.
01:29As we sit in here, I'm supposed to be the franchise player,
01:31and we're in here talking about practice.
01:34After a heartbreaking loss from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Boston Celtics,
01:38Iverson spoke at a press conference where he was clearly crushed by the defeat.
01:43Things took a turn when a reporter brought up 76ers coach
01:47Larry Brown's criticism of Iverson for missing team practices.
01:51It's not the game. We're talking about practice.
01:54Defiantly challenging arguments about the necessity of his attendance,
01:57Iverson used the word practice 22 times.
02:01What are we talking about? Practice? We're talking about practice, man.
02:06Though this portion of the conference is by far the most infamous and memed,
02:10it should be noted that it also ventures into more serious territory,
02:14like the murder of his best friend, Rashawn Langeford, the previous year.
02:19Number 28. Jean-Claude Van Damme is sick of boring interviews.
02:23Being a celebrity means doing many interviews over the course of your career,
02:27and answering the same questions again and again.
02:30I'm looking to be as natural as possible when I come to Australia.
02:34The frustration of this evidently got to Belgian action star Jean-Claude Van Damme.
02:38Sorry guys, I cannot do this anymore.
02:40During a satellite interview with Australian morning show Sunrise,
02:44the muscles from Brussels expressed his frustration about being asked the same
02:48questions for more than two decades, such as about his Street Fighter co-star
02:52and pop icon Kylie Minogue and his exercise regimen.
02:56The press, they've been asking me the same questions for the last 25 years.
03:02Kylie, how's your training? How's your this? How's your that?
03:05Before long, he's removing his microphone, swearing profusely and storming off.
03:10If there's one word you can't use to describe this interview, it's boring.
03:14Number 27. MSNBC reporter accosted.
03:18Reporting on a hurricane is stressful enough without targeted harassment.
03:21We saw postal workers going out delivering mail this morning.
03:24Just a couple of minutes ago, people were walking their dogs.
03:27They're back on the beach right now.
03:28While reporting on Hurricane Ida in Gulfport, Mississippi,
03:32MSNBC correspondent Shaquille Brewster was confronted by a man who ran from his
03:37white pickup truck to launch into a furious tirade.
03:40I think we even have a random person going around.
03:44You know, I'm going to turn this way because, you know,
03:46we deal with some people every once in a while.
03:47But what exactly he's saying is unclear,
03:50but it's clear he's not looking to have a friendly chat.
03:53Brewster, showing calm throughout the ordeal,
03:56throws back to anchor Craig Melvin right as the man gets in his face.
04:00We have a person who needs your help right now.
04:03The perpetrator was later identified as Ohio man Benjamin Eugene Dagley and arrested.
04:09Thankfully, Brewster made it out of this incident unscathed.
04:12Number 26, Sergio Ramos tells off rude fan.
04:16There's never a good time to heckle a professional athlete,
04:19but after a loss is arguably the worst occasion.
04:24Following a 2-0 loss to athletic Bilbao, Sevilla player Sergio Ramos spoke with a reporter,
04:31only to find himself interrupted by a fan in the stands.
04:34Ramos initially tried to ignore the jeers, but when the heckler refused to let up,
04:38he went for broke, angrily telling them to shut up.
04:43Ramos, who has been known for losing his temper and getting physical on other occasions,
04:49mostly manages to hold in his rage and move on,
04:52but we don't blame him for being upset about such disrespectful behavior.
04:56I think he answered in a very polite way, to be honest.
05:00Number 25, substitute weather reporter.
05:03Mark Woodley typically serves as sports anchor for Iowa's KWWL station.
05:09However, during a blizzard, with athletic events canceled,
05:12he was tasked with getting up early and out in the cold.
05:15What better time to ask the sports guy to come in about five hours
05:20earlier than he would normally wake up, go stand out in the
05:23wind and the snow and the cold, and tell other people not to do the same.
05:27Needless to say, Woodley was not pleased about the circumstances.
05:31Standing outside in freezing weather with snow still falling,
05:34he makes us feel like we're out right there with him.
05:37Got good news and I've got bad news.
05:40The good news is that I can still feel my face right now.
05:43The bad news is I kind of wish I couldn't.
05:46After his rant went viral, Woodley returned to the weather beat the following month.
05:51Fortunately, the second try was far more successful.
05:54You know, you all put me out here for the second time in a month
05:57to try and torture me, but the joke's on you.
05:59It's about 60 degrees warmer than it was back then.
06:01But he undoubtedly prefers the comfort of working from a properly heated studio.
06:06Number 24.
06:07Michael Malone lashes out at reporter.
06:10Players aren't the only ones who can get irritable after post-loss press conferences.
06:15It can also affect their coaches.
06:17Did you feel like there was anything that you guys got away from offensively
06:20in that stretch after you reached that point?
06:23I'll have to go back and watch the film.
06:25After a stunning Game 7 comeback that saw the Minnesota Timberwolves knock
06:29the Denver Nuggets out of the NBA playoffs, Nuggets coach Michael Malone is clearly
06:34having trouble even beginning to process the loss.
06:37His responses are terse, and he's avoiding eye contact.
06:40How hard is it just to absorb a loss like this after going ahead by 20?
06:47Next question, man.
06:48One reporter's question in particular rubs him the wrong way.
06:52Malone gets vocally upset, expressing his frustration with, quote, stupid-ass questions.
06:58Stupid-ass questions.
07:00Malone did, however, reach out the next day to apologize to the reporter,
07:04Bennett Durando, for how he responded to his question.
07:08Number 23.
07:09Anchor stands up to body shamer.
07:11The nerve of some people.
07:13On Friday, I received the following email from a lacrosse man with the subject line
07:18community responsibility, and it reads as follows.
07:22After Wisconsin news anchor, Jennifer Livingston,
07:25received an email from a viewer criticizing her appearance,
07:28she received an outpouring of support.
07:30She addressed the matter on the air,
07:32telling The Instigator that his comments are uncalled for and tactless.
07:36She also ties the matter into the greater problem of harassment,
07:39particularly how it affects school-age children.
07:42It is a major issue in the lives of young people today,
07:45and as the mother of three young girls, it scares me to death.
07:49While Livingston acknowledges that his words didn't break her confidence,
07:53that's not the case for everybody.
07:54The internet has become a weapon.
07:57Our schools have become a battleground, and this behavior is learned.
08:03The man responsible, Kenneth Kraus, later said he didn't intend to offend her.
08:07Yeah, we're not buying that.
08:09Number 22.
08:10Amusing anchor spat.
08:12Coworkers can become like family, and like all families,
08:15arguments are bound to happen every once in a while.
08:18I don't know what you're talking about.
08:19I said we're going to do something on the computer for the last story.
08:22Did you see me?
08:23I was reading the news there.
08:24During a broadcast for WGN Morning News in Chicago,
08:27anchor Robin Baumgarten chastised co-anchor Larry Potash about a missed story.
08:33Before long, the two are bickering like an old married couple.
08:36And now you're looking at me like I'm crazy.
08:38Like I'm just making it up.
08:39In isolation, this clip might seem to suggest that Baumgarten and Potash
08:44have a particularly contentious working relationship.
08:47However, an extended version of the incident,
08:49as well as other moments from their co-anchoring tenure,
08:52shows this is more friends giving each other a hard time than anything resembling animosity.
08:59I can't take it anymore.
09:00Number 21.
09:01Teresa Giudice storms off.
09:03At this point, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice
09:07might be better known for her and her husband Joe's legal troubles
09:10than for her reality TV career.
09:12During an interview with Access Hollywood Live,
09:15Giudice was asked about the possibility of Joe being deported back to Italy.
09:19Do you worry that it's the end of your family unit as you know it?
09:23Because there is all of this talk that Joe could be deported
09:26since he's an Italian citizen.
09:27Do you think about that?
09:29Giudice immediately refuses to respond and proceeds to call the question, quote,
09:33really rude.
09:34I think, you know, I don't think that's something you should be asking.
09:37Well, everybody's talking about it and it could be a reality.
09:40Yeah, I know.
09:40She then gets up and storms off, leaving behind her co-star Melissa Gorga.
09:45Of course, longtime fans of the Housewives franchise
09:47know that this is nothing compared to how heated she can get.
09:50You are f***ing Dave 19 times? You f***ing stupid bitch!
09:56Number 20. Frankly Just Bullshit
09:59In late February 2020, convicted Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich
10:03appeared on CNN to talk with Anderson Cooper.
10:06Blagojevich was serving 14 years in prison for soliciting bribes,
10:10a sentence later commuted by President Donald Trump on February 18th, 2020.
10:15Blagojevich is playing up his prison time,
10:17referring to himself as a political prisoner and comparing himself to Nelson Mandela.
10:22Today, and that is the shocking fact.
10:24I just got to stop you. I'm sorry.
10:25As someone who's worked in South Africa and saw apartheid,
10:28the idea that you are comparing yourself to somebody who has actually been
10:34railroaded by an apartheid system is just nuts.
10:38Cooper rightfully calls this comparison offensive, but that's not all.
10:42As the interview goes on, Cooper grows increasingly resentful and
10:45impatient with Blagojevich's statements,
10:47and he eventually refers to his alternate universe of facts as bullshit.
10:51You do have an obligation to at least admit what you did wrong,
10:54and you refuse to do that and you're creating a whole new alternate universe of facts.
10:58And that may be big in politics today, but it's still, frankly, just bullshit.
11:03This isn't the first time that Cooper has spoken his mind.
11:05Back on Anderson Live, he called the so-called human Barbie
11:08a dreadful person and cut the interview short.
11:11I try to be really polite to all my guests.
11:13I just think you're dreadful, and I honestly don't want to talk to you anymore.
11:1819. Dan Marino's Freakout
11:21In the 2000s, former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino co-hosted weekly football talk show
11:27Inside the NFL. When talking about golfing with Terrell Buckley,
11:31he had a wild freakout that came completely without warning.
11:41After stumbling over his words, Marino slammed his fists into the table,
11:45startling those around him. Marino even seems to have caught production off-guard
11:50with his little tantrum, judging by the camera's rapid movements, zoom-ins, and zoom-outs.
11:55Hey, we all word up our messes sometimes. Uh, mess up our words. Jesus.
12:0018. Danny Dyer on David Cameron
12:04English actor Danny Dyer is often typecast as the tough guy in movies and TV shows.
12:08Now we know why.
12:15While appearing on Good Evening Britain, Dyer began passionately discussing prior
12:20UK Prime Minister David Cameron and the issues surrounding Brexit.
12:30His rant included several profanities and various colourful names for David Cameron,
12:34like geezer and twat. His passionate comments garnered some chuckles,
12:38while the opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn managed to keep a straight face.
12:42When he was done, he sat back in his chair, crossed his arms, and shook his head in disappointment.
12:47So he's not a fan of David Cameron, then?
12:5117. Weatherman's cold response
12:53We all get a case of the winter blues sooner or later. It affects some people worse than others,
12:58even the meteorologists.
13:05In 2018, a Grand Rapids, Michigan meteorologist named Gary Frank let loose on one particularly
13:16cold day, venting not as much about the cold weather, but the reactions and expectations
13:20of his co-workers for constantly complaining about it.
13:34His sarcastic rant includes mimicking his co-worker's disappointed size,
13:39and suggesting maybe he should just misrepresent the weather to be warmer to make everyone happy.
13:44It's actually refreshing to see such human moments like this on the news.
13:5916. Sam the Cooking Guy calls for silence
14:03Hey, many of us get flustered and frustrated while cooking.
14:06Fortunately, our freakouts are not caught on live television.
14:14While appearing on Today with Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, Sam the Cooking Guy grew tired of
14:20the hosts' constant interjections and firmly told them to pipe down.
14:26Sam realized his mistake when his outburst was met with a painfully awkward silence,
14:31and he tried alleviating the awkwardness with some smiles and jokes.
14:43Unfortunately, that was an error he simply could not fix,
14:46and the rest of the segment proceeded rather coldly,
14:48with Gifford seeming particularly defensive.
15:0115. Mar kicks out conspiracy theorists
15:06Live audiences are typically well-behaved, but sometimes you get the clown who just
15:10wants to make noise. While Bill Mar was talking with U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee,
15:23conspiracy theorists started loudly yelling from the audience.
15:31At first, Lee and Mar simply looked at them in amusement and cracked some jokes on their behalf,
15:37but then they kept going. This prompted Mar to stand up,
15:41colorfully inquire about the security, and personally run over to the conspiracy theorist
15:46to kick them out himself. This was met with loud cheers from the studio audience,
15:50so we think they were just as fed up with the troublemakers.
16:0114. Anchor untethered
16:04Back in 2009, Drew Smith, a news anchor for SNN News 6 in Sarasota, Florida,
16:09had very little patience for poorly worded transcripts. After struggling to get through
16:14a story, Smith sighs in frustration and hangs his head in shame. After a brief pause,
16:30Smith brandishes his copy of the script and asks either the crew or the viewers at home if
16:38they are as confused as he is. Before continuing on, Smith seemingly answers his earlier question
16:44by stating, quote, some intern at NBC News Channel writes this crap. But we get it,
16:49poorly worded news is confusing for everyone and quality control is important.
16:5413. Alexi Lawless speaks his mind
17:01Sports commentators aren't one to mince words. If a performance sucks, they're gonna tell you
17:05about it. And Alexi Lawless, a former soccer star and pundit for Fox Sports,
17:10certainly told us about it. While covering a match between the Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy,
17:24Lawless unleashes a barrage of insults against the national United States soccer team.
17:28He singles out specific people, including Tim Howard, Jeff Cameron, and Clint Dempsey,
17:34and says that those that he didn't single out, quote, don't even warrant a mention.
17:38Tim Howard, Tim, the Belgium game ended three years ago. We need you to save the ball now.
17:43Jeff Cameron, clean it up or let's get someone who will. Clint Dempsey, yeah,
17:48you're a national team legend. Now we need you to be a national team leader.
17:52And that's before calling them all, quote, soft, underperforming, tattooed millionaires.
17:57We don't know if this is tough love or just straight up mean.
18:00You're gonna continue to be a bunch of soft, underperforming, tattooed millionaires?
18:04You are a soccer generation that has been given everything. You are a soccer generation
18:08who is on the verge of squandering everything. Number 12. Let me talk, Carol. If this list
18:14proves anything, it's that meteorologists are hanging on by a thread. This outburst concerns
18:20Chad Myers, the severe weather expert for CNN. Okay, so Chad, Chad, Chad, let me talk,
18:26Carol. Translate that for us. I don't know what that means. What does that mean? Well,
18:30if you would let me talk. While discussing Hurricane Katrina, anchor Carol Costello
18:34interrupts Myers and asks him to clarify the complex and technical terminology that he's using.
18:40Myers proceeds to yell, let me talk, Carol, and throws his papers on the ground in frustration.
18:45Costello and Myers both laugh the incident off, and Myers states that he was just having fun with
18:50Costello. It seems clear that they do this simply to diffuse the palpable tension because Myers was
18:55obviously not having fun. He is stressed the heck out. All right, thank you, Chad. All right,
19:00just having fun with you this morning. I know. It's a stressful time, I know.
19:05Number 11. Andrew Dice Clay fights back. Live TV and comedians rarely make for a safe combination,
19:12especially comedians known for their provocative humor. It's ridiculous. I come on CNN,
19:18and the guy don't even know what he's talking about. Go ahead. When Andrew Dice Clay appeared
19:21on CNN, the anchor opened that Clay was a headline guy and asked him what it was like running a gym.
19:42The comments greatly upset Clay, who stated that he is still a headline guy and never ran a gym.
19:48Following that, Clay launched into a tirade that involved numerous F-bombs and the very loud and
19:53very verbal disapproval of the production. You know what? Go f*** yourself. You know what? All right.
20:00We'll go back to talking about art. Our personal favorite bit has to be the anchor trying to
20:06segue into the next segment while Clay yells and swears off camera. Number 10. Weatherman flips out.
20:13This one was a question of priorities. We have viewers complaining already. Just go back to the
20:18show. No, we're not going back to the show, folks. This is a dangerous situation. In Dayton, Ohio,
20:24a local broadcast of The Bachelorette was interrupted by an emergency weather statement
20:28regarding an impending tornado. Midway through the broadcast, weatherman Jamie Simpson checked
20:33social media and saw that viewers were complaining about the interruption. I'm sick and tired of
20:38people complaining about this. Our job here is to keep people safe and that is what we're gonna do.
20:44This sent Simpson over the edge. He yelled at the viewers at home, went on a minute-long tirade,
20:49and called their reaction pathetic. Stop, okay? Just stop right now. It's not. I'm done with you
20:56people. I really am. This is pathetic. Viewers were not happy and Simpson wasn't happy that they
21:01weren't happy. Basically, no one was happy. Number nine. Burning with frustration. This is a hot one.
21:08Okay, not literally, but there is fire involved. Mika Brzezinski is the co-host of MSNBC's Morning
21:14Joe, a weekday morning political talk show. Back in 2007, Brzezinski grew frustrated with
21:19the constant coverage of Paris Hilton. Hold on a second. I'm gonna make a point. We're not covering
21:24this, all right? Yeah, exactly. I'm done with the Paris Hilton story. She attempts to set her news
21:33documents on fire saying, quote, I'm done with the Paris Hilton story. When her co-anchor takes
21:38the lighter away, Brzezinski gets up and throws the papers into a nearby paper shredder. This is
21:43my Paris Hilton. What a statement. That is a statement about the state of journalism. You
21:50have changed the world, Mika Brzezinski. At least my world. When reflecting on the moment for a 10
21:55year anniversary special, co-anchor Willie Geist called it, quote, a symbolic moment for the show
22:00in that Brzezinski was refusing to air and discuss such trivial matters of celebrity.
22:04This is the way things have sort of been done. These are the things you've seen talked about in
22:08the morning. They're literally going into a shredder and we're starting something new. Yeah,
22:12and I'll tell you, Mika gets called to the front office and they were gonna yell at her.
22:17No, I did get yelled at. Number eight,
22:20Sharlow Green quits on air. This rant by Alaska's KTVA anchor, Sharlow Green, went viral. Now,
22:27everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating
22:31all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing
22:35marijuana here in Alaska. After reporting on the Alaska Cannabis Club, Green shockingly revealed
22:41that she was the owner of the Cannabis Club and quit on live TV. And as for this job, well,
22:47not that I have a choice, but I quit. Her resignation involved a lengthy speech,
22:53a well-timed F-bomb and a dramatic walk-off camera. This left the other KTVA anchor stunned
22:59and literally speechless as she tried to recover from Green's colorful on-air resignation.
23:05We'll be right back. I mean, pardon for us. The clip subsequently went viral and Green found
23:11herself a bit of a champion within the marijuana industry. Unfortunately, her club was raided by
23:16police in 2016 and Green was slapped with a felony conviction and a $10,000 fine.
23:22Number seven, Ben Affleck gets worked up. Back in October, 2014, Ben Affleck appeared on the
23:28talk show Real Time with Bill Maher alongside author and podcast host Sam Harris. And it didn't
23:34take long for the fireworks to really get going. The discussion veers towards the subjects of
23:38radical Islam and Islamophobia and battle lines are quickly drawn. You're saying that Islamophobia
23:44is not a real thing. That if you're critical of something, it's not a real thing when we do it.
23:48Right. Well, it really is. I'm not denying that certain people are bigoted against Muslims as
23:53people. Right. And that's a problem. Big of you. But why are you so hostile about this? Because
23:58it's gross. It's racist. Maher claims that Islam is the only religion that acts like the mafia
24:03and Harris says that Islam at this moment is the motherlode of bad ideas. The Oscar winner
24:08then goes off on the two men, calling their assertions gross, racist and ugly things to say.
24:14All this while sitting back in his chair in frustration and muttering,
24:17Jesus Christ, under his breath. So suffice it to say, he didn't agree with their opinions.
24:22And say, well, there's people who are doing it, not the Philippines. You know what I mean? Well,
24:26what if the Filipino kid lives on the streets and you would have nothing to do with that?
24:30Number six, Sue Simmons drops an F-bomb. There's something really funny about an
24:35otherwise professional news anchor breaking character and yelling out an F-bomb.
24:39At 11, pay more at the grocer, but getting less will tell you how to get the most.
24:44The f*** are you doing? After reading through the news teaser for WNBC,
24:49Simmons could loudly be heard cursing off camera as the footage was rolling.
24:53Simmons was reportedly yelling at her co-anchor, Chuck Scarborough,
24:57who was distracted by his computer. Unfortunately, Simmons didn't realize that the segment was live.
25:03I'm truly sorry. It was a mistake on my part and I sincerely apologize.
25:07She later apologized to the viewers for her outburst, but really,
25:10more people were probably amused than offended.
25:13Seeing that boat drift in silence following her F-bomb is just comedic gold.
25:18Number five, R. Kelly versus Gayle King. Even though this interview wasn't aired live,
25:24it was presented exactly as filmed. R. Kelly has long been the subject of numerous sexual
25:29assault allegations. I didn't do this stuff. This is not me. I'm fighting for my f***ing life.
25:36Y'all killing me with this s***. In March 2019, Kelly appeared on CBS
25:42This Morning with Gayle King to discuss the allegations and the recent documentary,
25:46Surviving R. Kelly. Kelly grew increasingly emotional and frustrated as the interview
25:51progressed, culminating in him screaming right into the camera.
25:55This is not about music. I'm trying to have a relationship with my kids and I can't do it.
26:01He then stood up and continued to shout, pounding on his chest.
26:05It didn't end there as his tirade continued for almost another minute.
26:09Number four, walking away from Bill O'Reilly.
26:12Please welcome Bill O'Reilly.
26:14And here we have another disagreement arising over religion and extremism.
26:18Back in 2010, political commentator Bill O'Reilly appeared on The View to promote his book,
26:23Pinheads and Patriots, where you stand in the age of Obama.
26:26The discussion turns towards an Islamic community center called Park 51,
26:30then scheduled to be built near Ground Zero.
26:33Let me break this to you. 70% of Americans don't want that mosque down there. So don't give me the
26:38weed. O'Reilly claims without proof that, quote, 70% of Americans don't want that
26:44and that it's inappropriate, quote, because Muslims killed us on 9-11.
26:50Whoopi yells, oh my God, shoots back in her seat and swears at O'Reilly before she and
26:55Joy Behar storm off the set. This is anything but scripted, just a real impassioned reaction.
27:11Number three, Jim Ryan versus Dick Oliver.
27:14This legendary argument took place on July 19th, 2001.
27:18Good Day New York anchorman Jim Ryan is watching a report from Dick Oliver on a
27:22landlord-tenant dispute. It's pretty normal everyday stuff, until it isn't.
27:36After Oliver lets his tenant interviewee leave,
27:39Ryan chastises him for the quality of his reporting.
27:41This results in a bitter and very awkward back and forth on live television,
27:46and you can see the tenant cringing and suppressing a laugh in the background.
27:53This incident would become so infamous that it inspired Bill Hader's Herb Welch character
28:02on Saturday Night Live, with Hader portraying an elderly reporter as combative as he is incompetent.
28:17Number two, Kanye on Bush.
28:20Back in 2005, no one knew that rapper extraordinaire Kanye West would become one
28:24of the most controversial and outspoken artists of the 21st century.
28:28That is, until a concert for hurricane relief.
28:41This was a live benefit concert that was meant to raise money and awareness for the victims
28:45of Hurricane Katrina. West was paired with comedian Mike Myers and went off script,
28:50and Myers could only stare at him in confusion and nervousness. He knew something was coming,
28:55and something indeed came. West's comment is now legendary, as is Myers' reaction,
29:04and the hilarious cutaway to Chris Tucker.
29:15Number one, Mike Tyson blows his stack.
29:25Back in 1992, Mike Tyson was sentenced to six years in prison for the assault of 18-year-old
29:31Desiree Washington. This topic was brought up years later in 2014, when Tyson was visiting
29:36Toronto's CP24 news channel on a promotional tour after meeting with the city's then-mayor Rob Ford.
29:45News anchor Nathan Downer broaches the idea that the mayoral meeting could possibly have
30:00interfered with Ford's election race. As Tyson is a convicted rapist,
30:05Tyson is not happy. He initially responds in a seemingly controlled manner,
30:18before utterly and profanely losing his composure multiple times, eventually calling Downer.
30:28Downer reminds Tyson that they were on live TV, but he doesn't seem to care. Like, at all.
