00:00it's hard really because I still remember standing in the ring with
00:05Michael Oku and Giselle Shaw and saying that we are now the backbone and just
00:09not revolution pro wrestling but of British wrestling and I promised a lot
00:14of people a hell of a lot of people that'd be a fighting champion that I'd
00:17be defending this title no matter who steps in the ring and I had this whole
00:22tour planned Will Ospreay versus the UK and then this all happened so now this
00:28is time to make a statement Carl Fletcher this is my first defense do you
00:34know how important this championship is this match tonight is the reason that I
00:43moved my entire life at 18 years old halfway across the world the Revolution
00:49heavyweight championship is the most important title in British wrestling
00:56don't believe me tell me another championship that's been defended in
01:01Madison Square Garden oh you can't tell me another British championship that has
01:07been defended in the Tokyo Dome oh you can't
01:11you you think about the names of the people that have held that championship
01:16you know AJ Styles, Tomohiro Ishii, Zack Sabre jr., Minoru Suzuki, Hiroshi
01:24Tanahashi, Katsuyori Shibata, Will Ospreay this is the most important
01:33championship in British wrestling I just I know that my name needs to be on that
01:41list this is the most important match Carl Fletcher if you're damn Korean I
01:45don't care if it's in front of anybody the amount of times I've I've dreamt
01:48about this opportunity stepping into the ring and wrestling for that British
01:53heavyweight championship and obviously this is not the way that I pictured it
01:57going but what's gonna drive me is knowing that the people at home are
02:03gonna be watching and that this is my opportunity to prove myself the world is
02:09gonna be watching me and I'm gonna prove myself when I hold up that British
02:13heavyweight championship a title that I've wanted to hold ever since I got
02:16here even before my entire wrestling career I wanted to hold that very
02:20championship and this is my opportunity
02:24god damn I'm not ready to say bye
02:28the Rev Pro Championship will stay around my waist because I have a job and
02:34a duty to British wrestling no arrow is piercing my heart
02:40and no one will stop me as I am the best British wrestler alive today
02:48Will Ospreay is no doubt in my mind the absolute best wrestler in the world
02:56he's on another level tonight is my opportunity to prove that I am on that
03:03level with him
03:06you
03:11here we go big fight feels and I think we're about to see the biggest fight of
03:19this young man's life
03:23Will Ospreay became British heavyweight champion 6 months ago but this is his first title defense
03:28now last time they met in the ring Kyle's team got the win but it was his partner who got the pinfall
03:33Kyle now has to prove he has what it takes to keep Ospreay down for the three count
03:39and Kyle Fletcher is a man who perhaps feels overlooked certainly by after
03:49hearing those fighting words from RKJ towards Will Ospreay but that's just
03:54going to motivate him further isn't it Rob
04:03I was just letting everyone soak in that moment of intensity that Kyle Fletcher
04:08was providing there he looks ready as ready as I've ever seen him he knows
04:16this is the biggest test of his life look how fired up he is
04:24this is going to be an all-out war so you see the undisputed British
04:32heavyweight champion the man who makes a claim to be the best wrestler in the
04:37world and Rob it would be hard to argue but Kyle Fletcher believes in his heart
04:43of hearts he is right up there with him and this is his chance to prove it to
04:49the entire wrestling world it's going to be Ariel Assassin versus Ozzy Arrow
05:01this is going to be one hell of a contest
05:31Kyle Fletcher!
05:37and introducing the champion
05:41he is your reigning, defending, undisputed, British heavyweight champion
05:51the Ariel Assassin
05:53Will Ospreay!
06:02this is for the championship
06:14Ospreay telling Quildon to get out the ring telling referee Tom Scarborough to hurry up he wants that
06:19build of sound but so does Kyle Fletcher music to my ears because for me Will Ospreay
06:24has not been at his peak over the last couple of epic encounters and this this
06:30is a big challenge
06:32feel the intensity from both men as they exchange shoulder tackles
06:36and who's going to come out on top
06:38oh well we know Ospreay's put on some size but Kyle Fletcher if anyone has
06:45changed their physique more than Kyle Fletcher in the last 18 to 24 months I'd
06:50like to see him absolutely when Kyle Fletcher came into Revolution Pro Wrestling
06:53he was just a boy and he looked like mad Kurt didn't he in terms of physique
06:59and now look at him he's a man!
07:01oh he's looking for the car early
07:03Fletcher is he looking for that tombstone no
07:05hook kick no!
07:07Fletcher went for a super kick got caught missed
07:10and went to a big chop
07:13and whilst Will Ospreay's the weight the size that he's piled on has been very
07:19high-profile for Kyle Fletcher it's been very low-key hasn't it and Kyle Fletcher
07:25has quietly gone about his business bit by bit he's piled on the size and
07:30because he's done it in such a gradual way it's really not affected his game in
07:34any way shape or form but we can throw size out the window when you're getting
07:39hit by moves like that as Will Ospreay not giving him a chance to breathe
07:45well everyone used to say that in the Aussie Open that Mark Davis was the big
07:51man out of these two but I tell you what if you stand Mark Davis next to
07:54Kyle Fletcher now Kyle Fletcher is an absolute mammoth of a human being in
07:58terms of height I think don't think people realize just how tall that boy is
08:02got to be pushing six five six six and the fact he's put on the size he has now
08:07he is a giant there is no big man in Aussie Open now they are both big men
08:12and whilst Davis has been out nursing that injury that he sustained quite a
08:17while back Fletcher has been making the most of it and I tell you what we have
08:21to do is stand anywhere near this man and his presence is just something
08:24different to what it was nearly a couple of years ago
08:27absolutely there's that air of confidence isn't there and Kyle Fletcher
08:31he's been in some absolute wars in Revolution Pro Wrestling the caliber of
08:36opponent that he's faced has been the elite of the elite of the elite and as a
08:42result Kyle Fletcher has grown as a performer grown as a professional
08:46wrestler and outside the ring he's matured as a man and those things
08:51combined have made him become perhaps the most dangerous dangerous threat to
08:57Will Ospreay's undisputed British Heavyweight Championship if Will Ospreay
09:01likes to admit it or not he's about to find out firsthand now but Ospreay is
09:06not going to back down huge forearm and Fletcher just walks straight into it and
09:12saying give me more
09:18and Ospreay mixing it up not messing about not messing about Ospreay knows that he
09:22needs to be at his peak today and as I said earlier he was not at his peak for
09:27me in that tag team match when he and Michael Oku faced RKJ and Kyle Fletcher
09:33proven that Ospreay he was pinned in that match he then faced his protege
09:37Callum Newman who no offense to Callum Newman, Callum Newman is not Kyle
09:41Fletcher he is not RKJ not at this point in his career he might one day be
09:46on that caliber but at the moment he is not on that level and so for me Will
09:51Ospreay has not been challenged enough can this be the day that Will Ospreay
09:56slips on that banana peel
09:58many people were speculating that Kyle Fletcher was furious as you see that
10:02slam there that he wasn't able to get the pin on Ospreay in that tag match but
10:08what I will say is that he will have given Kyle Fletcher confidence because
10:13it's proven that Will Ospreay is a human being inside the squared circle
10:18Oh he can be beaten, he can be beaten
10:20and as a result that will have given Kyle Fletcher confidence and I can
10:23absolutely assure you that Kyle Fletcher studied every second of that tag match
10:27he studied every second of Callum Newman and Will Ospreay and he's here tonight
10:31with the sole intention of taking that undisputed British heavyweight
10:36championship and he's prepared to face Will Ospreay's biggest shots to get
10:41there and give him back some of his own
10:45I'd say Andy for me this change in attitude with Kyle Fletcher all started
10:49was it a year or two ago at one of the shows out in the States when he teamed
10:54up with with Mark Davis against was it again
10:59Juice Robinson and Tanahashi and I believe it was the words from
11:03Tanahashi that spurred Fletcher on when he said you two are one of the best
11:08teams I've ever faced but you young man there's something missing with you
11:13there's that intensity missing there's there's that size advantage missing and
11:17I tell you what it didn't go one ear one in here and out the other for Fletcher
11:20it went in the ear it stayed in his mind and I mean look at the boy now
11:25he has indeed raised himself I tell you he says Ospreay is on another level
11:30I don't think Fletcher's that far away if he's not already on that level
11:34this is it tonight's his opportunity to prove it and thus far the way this
11:38contest is going Kyle Fletcher is proving it he's walking the walk in this
11:44his biggest match of his career with the undisputed British heavyweight
11:48championship in the balance Kyle Fletcher has Will Ospreay where he
11:53wants him now he has to retain his composure and continue to fight the
11:58fight as he's unloaded with a series of forearms and Will Ospreay just taking
12:03it and now he's transitioned into stomps and Ospreay could be out here
12:08the ropes may have saved Will Ospreay but look at Ospreay smiling I'm not
12:12sure he's all with it at the moment I'm not sure this is a competition but
12:17Will Ospreay wants this is a competition that Will Ospreay needs this is a
12:22competition that fuels Will Ospreay as he fires back with a big forearm
12:29good boy
12:32Fletcher responds with one of his own
12:36Kyle Fletcher cuts him off with a big kick sends him into the corner hard
12:40charges in but charges into a pair of boots from Ospreay and Ospreay now
12:45looking to capitalize see what I mean Fletcher puts on the brakes
12:49hoists him up Ospreay floats over with the German suplex Kyle Fletcher connects
12:58with a big back elbow sends him off the ropes Ospreay oh beautifully done and
13:05this is what brought Will Ospreay to the dance and this is why you cannot write
13:09off the aerial assassin but again Fletcher not down on his back Ospreay is
13:14Kyle he managed to fall to his knees he's still with it shake trying to shake
13:18off the cobwebs Ospreay is on his back
13:24it's easier to catch your breath when you're in the position that Kyle Fletcher
13:28is in as opposed to the position that Ospreay is in
13:30Will Ospreay looking like he's trying to psych himself up here right now
13:34he's trying to suck up that air
13:42Fletcher hoists Ospreay to the outside Ospreay catches the arm connects with
13:46a boot Will Ospreay now what's he looking for
13:49springboard forearm connect pick that one up from the phenomenal AJ Styles did
13:55Will Ospreay cover two count only and Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher before
13:59this match they listed that the list of champions who've held the undisputed
14:04British heavyweight championship and if that list alone doesn't tell you how
14:09important this championship is I don't know what will perhaps the way these
14:15two men are conducting themselves in this contest
14:18they're certainly giving it their all and even the shooting star but Fletcher
14:22moved out the way Fletcher scoured it very well look at this
14:28look at that German suplex Will Ospreay finds a way out with an elbow slows
14:32Fletcher momentarily
14:35oh and connects
14:37what a drop kick from Kyle Fletcher who thus far has been one step ahead of Will
14:45Ospreay we were pointing this one it goes to the challenger thus far but
14:49fortunately for Will Ospreay we're not scoring this one on points as now it's
14:53almost Callum Newman giving Will Ospreay some feedback on the outside
14:58I'll probably keep it he's keeping an eye on Fletcher probably telling Will
15:03what Fletcher's up to
15:05good point very good point as Fletcher from the top now what's he looking for
15:09big moonsault
15:10oh my god what a moonsault
15:13well Ospreay clearly didn't listen
15:15and he throws Will Ospreay into the inside of the ring
15:19Kyle Fletcher just wiped him out connects with a big boot
15:22Kyle Fletcher looking to follow through now what's he going for
15:26Brain Buster
15:29and there's a cover
15:31and Ospreay kicked out
15:34Will Ospreay kicked out that was so so close
15:38Kyle Fletcher connected with that moonsault to the outside
15:43he followed through by throwing him into the ring
15:46hit him with that Brain Buster and Ospreay kicked out
15:50and now Kyle Fletcher needs to do everything he can
15:54to ride this flow of momentum
15:58because this could be his one and only moment in this contest
16:04both men went for a clothesline
16:06neither man goes down
16:08Will trying to psych himself up to get back in this
16:11and both men exchanging
16:26Tom Scarborough is having an absolute panic attack in the middle of the ring
16:29trying to tell both men to cover up
16:31and they're not listening
16:33they're determined to get the knockout
16:37and Will Ospreay changed direction there
16:40shot to the top of the knee
16:43or to the quad and now he's got
16:45wow this is interesting
16:48look at Fletcher
16:50what a precarious position he was in
16:52just slapping with every ounce of energy in his body
16:56figure four
16:57and that's exactly what Will Ospreay is going for
17:01this is different from Will Ospreay
17:03he had to change his tactics
17:06he feels threatened he clearly feels threatened
17:09oh Fletcher oh look did you see that
17:11Will Ospreay just hit his own leg to break away the grip
17:15of Kyle Fletcher to apply that thick old figure four
17:19Fletcher was headbutting Will Ospreay's ankle
17:22to try and get him to break it
17:23when have you ever seen something like that
17:25and he's desperate isn't he
17:27and Kyle Fletcher is looking to go down on his own sword here isn't he
17:31and oh look at that from Ospreay just cranking back
17:34you saw almost a momentary pause there from Will Ospreay
17:37before he grabbed hold of that foot and cranked back
17:41with every ounce of energy in his body
17:43and you can see the story on the face of Fletcher
17:46he is in all kinds of trouble right now
17:51and not many men have the wrestling IQ of Will Ospreay
17:55the ability to change it up at a moment's notice
17:58in the heat the absolute heat of battle
18:01as Fletcher momentarily reversed the hold
18:03Ospreay rolled through
18:05and unfortunately for Will Ospreay it rolled him straight into the ropes
18:08and it kept Kyle Fletcher alive in this contest
18:11your main event of Epic Encounters 3
18:14for the undisputed British Heavyweight Championship
18:19it has been absolute balls to the wall from both men so far
18:24I can't put it any other way
18:26both guys literally leaving it all on the line
18:29again I was pointing out that Ospreay hasn't been at his peak for me
18:33in the last Epic Encounters 1 and 2
18:35but I think tonight he's showing up to the level of competition
18:42that's been put in front of him
18:45and Kyle Fletcher swinging
18:47just looking to knock him out and he fired up Ospreay
18:52wow
18:55just when Fletcher thought he'd straight up knocked out Will Ospreay
18:59he had him against a rope so to speak
19:01Will Ospreay just fired back with a huge clothesline
19:04and Fletcher went hurtling to the outside
19:07is he looking for that?
19:08we know he likes to use the Saske special in this position
19:11is he going to do it?
19:12it's a very very tight confined space outside the ring here
19:15oh he just dove into the forearm of Kyle Fletcher
19:20and Rob you've not done your homework for this match
19:23yet you knew what was coming
19:25so Kyle Fletcher a man who studied Will Ospreay inside out
19:29he knew it was coming
19:31and now what on earth has Kyle Fletcher got him?
19:34no way
19:37we know Fletcher, we know he likes to use that cradle tombstone as a finish
19:42he was looking for it on the apron and now
19:44Ospreay's reversed him
19:47Fletcher fighting back
19:49both men in precarious precarious territory right now
19:54Ospreay hits a big big elbow
19:58Fletcher responds with a forearm
20:01and these two men they're really at the edge of a cliff right now aren't they?
20:08again you can hear Tom Scarborough still having a panic attack to himself
20:11he just wants both these guys inside to have a nice technical combat
20:15and for one of them to win safely
20:17I think he just wants a decisive finish to this match
20:19I think he would hate to see the backlash if he were to count both men out right here right now
20:25he's just trying to get both men back in the ring
20:27back to, well I use this term lightly
20:30back to a safe environment
20:32because it's not a safe environment when you're in there with two killers
20:35like Ospreay and Fletcher
20:38Fletcher doesn't look worried
20:39Ospreay doesn't look worried
20:40Scarborough looks like he's about to have a baby
20:44oh
20:52and now what's Will Ospreay got in mind?
20:54these men they're determined to do something on that hardest part of the ring
20:57is he going for a stormbreaker?
20:59surely not
21:01surely not
21:02there's no room for a stormbreaker there Andy
21:04if Will's going for that there's something wrong
21:06Fletcher trying to fight him back, hook kick
21:10Ospreay
21:12no way
21:13Oscutter
21:16I dare to say Andy the amount of damage that that did to Carl Fletcher
21:20just as much damage was done to Will Ospreay
21:23landing on the side of that ring
21:25sure Fletcher's jaw smashed on the corner of that steel
21:29listen few men kick out of that Oscutter from the inside of the ring
21:33now at the element of the outside of the ring
21:36at the element of that steel girder
21:38this isn't a parody
21:39oh it's the hardest part of the ring
21:41it legitimately is the hardest part of the ring
21:44there is a steel girder that reinforces the ring
21:48it goes all the way around the four sides of the ring
21:51Carl Fletcher's jaw just collided with the outside of the ring
21:56and then he went plummeting down to the concrete
21:59and he could get counted out right here right now
22:03Tom Scarborough's up to five make it six
22:06and Carl Fletcher's pursuit of the British Heavyweight Championship
22:10could be over just like that
22:12he is down and he very well could be out
22:17I can't believe Will wants to win this way
22:19what a coward
22:20and oh Fletcher he fights his way back in
22:22Ospreay
22:24springboard drop kick
22:26cover
22:27Fletcher somehow someway kicks out
22:30but look at this
22:31Will Ospreay undeterred
22:33no wasted motion from the top
22:37my goodness what a forearm
22:41and Fletcher kicks out again
22:43I think again as much damage as Fletcher has taken
22:47Ospreay's going to need something very big
22:50he's following up in combination
22:52move after move after move
22:54is he looking for that hidden blade
22:55the killer instinct is there
22:57Fletcher reaching towards the ropes
22:59ducks out
23:00Fletcher
23:02Ospreay
23:05straight into the buckle
23:08and that is the ace up Fletcher's sleeve
23:11that wild card that could well have turned this contest on its head
23:16Ospreay was hitting blow after blow after blow after blow
23:22and yes Fletcher he couldn't capitalize
23:24he couldn't follow up
23:25but he's found himself some distance
23:28he's bought himself some time Andy
23:30that's right
23:31he capitalized on that split second of adrenaline rush
23:35he laundered Ospreay straight into that middle buckle
23:39and he's bought himself at least a nine count to catch his breath
23:43and he is slightly on the upper hand now
23:46fires to his feet
23:47Ospreay the ropes keeping him up
23:50and Fletcher recognizes his fact
23:53and Fletcher now taking Will Ospreay to the top rope
23:57Ospreay now in danger
23:59the undisputed British heavyweight championship
24:03may be being pulled from his grasp right now
24:08as Fletcher
24:09oh no
24:10Ospreay fights back
24:15Fletcher still resilient
24:17still undeterred
24:19still walking into this
24:20not for what a headbutt
24:23and Ospreay slips out
24:25and he's looking for it
24:27he's got the head tucked
24:28cheeky
24:29no, no, no
24:30Fletcher
24:31oh what a counter
24:32what a counter
24:33twist in tombstone
24:35Carl Fletcher
24:36this is your mod
24:38oh no
24:40wow
24:42that was a moment that Fletcher had dreamt about
24:46he didn't get that hook over the top
24:47we know he likes to use the cradle version of the tombstone
24:51he didn't manage to get the hook on
24:52he just went for it
24:54he went for it thinking this would be the moment
24:57you have to take every single moment
25:00you have to take every single opportunity
25:02this is the fight of Carl Fletcher's life
25:05this is the fight of Will Ospreay's life
25:07and both men know it
25:09Will Ospreay in trouble
25:11Carl Fletcher the challenger
25:12on top of the champion
25:14kicking him while he's down
25:17stomping at him
25:18and now he has to use that same killer instinct
25:21that we've seen Will Ospreay utilise in the past
25:25I just don't know Andy
25:26if he'd have hooked those knuckles like he does
25:28across the groin over the top of one leg
25:30would it have been a three count
25:32would it have been a three
25:34unloaded with a series of boots to the side of the skull
25:38and again the ropes may have saved Will Ospreay
25:43Will Ospreay's out
25:44and Carl Fletcher now
25:46that could be the look of the man
25:48that is looking destiny in the face
25:51because Carl Fletcher is three seconds away
25:54from becoming the undisputed British heavyweight champion
25:58three seconds and one big move away
26:00and that one big move might be coming up right now
26:03here it is he's got the hammer lock on
26:07and Ospreay with a sense of urgency
26:09a sense of desperation
26:11that you rarely rarely see from him
26:15and Fletcher kept wrist control
26:17oh no but Ospreay used it to connect the short arm clothesline
26:21now look at the position of the wrist
26:23it's now Ospreay who has control of Carl Fletcher's wrist
26:29and Fletcher thought he was doing a wise thing
26:31by keeping wrist control of Will Ospreay
26:33but he walked in to that short arm clothesline
26:36well Andy as I say he hit that tombstone earlier
26:38without the specific way that Fletcher likes to finish matches
26:43with the hammer lock version of that tombstone
26:46with the arms wrapped around each other
26:49he doesn't want to let go
26:50because as soon as he gets the opportunity to go for it
26:53if he hits it it will be over
26:56hook kick
26:58Ospreay ducks out does Fletcher
27:01he went for the Spanish fly through to his feet
27:04Fletcher
27:06it's reversed Fletcher one of his own
27:08oh went through big powerbomb
27:10ducks out the hook kick connects with a super kick
27:12Fletcher this could be it
27:14Spanish fly
27:16hook of the leg and still no no no
27:19Carl Fletcher kicked out
27:21Ospreay
27:22looking for that Ospreay
27:24in the ring
27:25in the ring this time this is it
27:27and still
27:28one two
27:29no
27:32how on earth is Carl Fletcher still in this contest
27:36how on earth can either man still stand
27:40Ospreay's got to be looking for that stormbreaker
27:42no he's going in
27:43hidden blade
27:45this is normally the prelude to that stormbreaker
27:48if he can hit it but Fletcher
27:49Fletcher fires up
27:50Ospreay shaking his head he can't believe
27:52Fletcher still standing
27:54he's unloaded with a series of forearms
27:57Fletcher fights him back as good as he gets
28:00but Ospreay connected in volume
28:04I have never seen anything like this in all my life
28:08as Ospreay
28:09oh my goodness
28:11oh that knee to the side of the head
28:13the stomp to the back of the skull
28:15the Kawada kicks
28:17Carl Fletcher in so much trouble
28:20and still he stands
28:22to finally push him away
28:24connect to the forearm of his own
28:26and oh into that discus forearm
28:28and Carl Fletcher
28:29that could have been his last flurry
28:34oh
28:35hidden blade to the front
28:37there was nothing hidden about that blade
28:39he stabbed him straight in the face
28:42Stormbreaker
28:43Stormbreaker
28:44hook of the leg
28:46it's over
28:47wow
29:00wow
29:02that's all I can say is wow
29:05that was an all-out war
29:08for the undisputed British heavyweight championship
29:14and these two men are two of the very best wrestlers
29:17on the entire planet
29:20what a fight
29:33I think Ospreay knows
29:35he was just tested
29:44wow
29:51and right now I am joined by the winner
29:54and still your undisputed British heavyweight champion
29:59Will Ospreay
30:00that was an absolute war
30:07Andy
30:08it's just getting funny now isn't it
30:11because you
30:13you
30:14saw me as such a little boy
30:17and a little boy
30:19that can do all the crazy tricks
30:21in the world
30:24but I have
30:26what we call
30:27a mean streak
30:29and I'm a very
30:31very aggressive person
30:35and they have painted
30:37this picture of me
30:40and I'm done
30:42with being a boy
30:46everyone
30:47who watches this
30:49on your TV screen knows something
30:53I am
30:55the greatest performer
30:57to come
30:58out of the British scene
31:00I give my all
31:02I bend over backwards
31:04for no one now
31:06I bend over backwards for no one
31:09I
31:10am the British
31:12heavyweight championship
31:14something I earned
31:15something I scraped for
31:17for seven fucking years
31:19and if you think
31:21anyone
31:22and I mean anyone
31:23can take this from me
31:25you have another thing coming
31:27because there's a difference
31:29between you and me
31:31and that's this
31:32is I have a heart only for pro wrestling
31:35and you take something like that
31:37away from me
31:38you're going to take that
31:39you have not
31:40got the slightest
31:41of fucking chance
31:43because I've grinded
31:44I worked as a fucking mastic man
31:46I worked as an electrician
31:48as trampoline instructors
31:49and I failed at everything
31:51and there's one thing
31:53that I am the best at
31:54and that's pro wrestling
31:56so anyone back there
31:58and I mean anyone
32:00try and take this from me
32:02it's funny
32:03you've got a British J cup
32:05for all the juniors out there
32:07I think it's time
32:09you might put together like a
32:10a British G1 or something
32:12because the way I see it
32:14no one
32:15is taking this from me
32:17thank you Andy Corden
32:19well ladies and gentlemen
32:20I think it's hard to argue
32:22the best wrestler in the world
32:24and your
32:25undisputed
32:27British heavyweight champion
32:29Will Ospreay
32:33what a win for Will Ospreay
32:35this match had absolutely everything
32:37from Ozcutters on the apron
32:39to Ozcutters in the ring
32:41Fletcher
32:42battled and battled
32:44but in the end
32:45a hidden blade that wasn't so hidden
32:47straight to the mush
32:49the stormbreaker
32:50ever so reliable
32:52and Will Ospreay still
32:54your undisputed
32:56British heavyweight champion
32:59wow
33:01that may well have been one of the
33:03greatest matches
33:05I've had the privilege of calling
33:07and the fact that there were no fans
33:09here to see it
33:11it's an absolute travesty really
33:13but fingers crossed
33:15they will enjoy at home as much
33:17as we've enjoyed it here because
33:19obviously we don't have
33:21the adrenaline and the atmosphere
33:23from the fans
33:24the same as the guys and girls in the ring do
33:26but I've managed to
33:28I've managed to be thoroughly
33:30immersed
33:32in not just that main event but the whole card tonight
33:34but that main event was something else
33:36and I'm looking forward to the future now
33:38obviously RKJ is clearly
33:40intent on Will Ospreay
33:42we'll see if that ever happens down the line
33:44Carl Fletcher, obviously we can't write him
33:46off at this point because that performance
33:48shows that he is worthy
33:50of another shot
33:52of another opportunity somewhere down the line
33:54and we know Dan Maloney's
33:56keen, there is absolutely
33:58so many avenues that Will Ospreay is going to have
34:00to keep his eyes on. Absolutely, well let's
34:02try and unpack a fantastic
34:04night of pro wrestling at
34:06its best
34:08we kickstarted things
34:10with JJ Gale going up
34:12against Robbie X, another valuable
34:14lesson for our contender
34:16JJ Gale, he proved against
34:18Mark Haskins that he's on the right path
34:20and again tonight against Robbie X
34:22a different type of opponent
34:24someone that he would like to emulate
34:26and obviously wrestle with
34:28I'm sure he'll take many tips from Robbie X
34:30in the future but tonight was another great
34:32lesson for JJ Gale. Madkirt
34:34and Gideon Grey had an
34:36intriguing technical
34:38encounter. Well Madkirt
34:40messing about
34:42but when he turned it on
34:44the boy can go and I'll tell you what even
34:46Gideon Grey gave him props at the end of
34:48that match, something I am shocked at
34:50it's not often you see Gideon Grey
34:52give anyone props that's not in the Legion
34:54and does that say something
34:56about the future for Madkirt
34:58Jamie Hayter and
35:00Bobby Tyler, they went
35:02to an all out war, it was frantic
35:04from the start. Well Bobby
35:06Tyler tried to take the advantage
35:08from the word go but Jamie Hayter wasn't
35:10having none of it but
35:12in the end Bobby Tyler
35:14that frantic start may have helped her
35:16as she hit a hole in one, that big roundhouse
35:18kick and a massive
35:20win to put Bobby Tyler back on track
35:22perhaps to a future
35:24championship opportunity but she's put herself
35:26in the running. She's put herself in the
35:28running but she's also put herself into the sights
35:30of a Wado tie, she might be pleased
35:32with herself now but she may be about
35:34to learn that actions have consequences.
35:36Kenneth Halfpenny
35:38was able to pull
35:40one back in his rivalry
35:42with Brendan White.
35:44Well we saw a different side to
35:46Kenneth Halfpenny this evening, he has
35:48obviously felt embarrassed over the last
35:50two defeats he's had
35:52for Brendan White, he feels the last
35:54one Brendan White cheated. Tonight
35:56we saw an angry and a vicious
35:58Kenneth Halfpenny and I've got to say
36:00Andy, I very much enjoyed it and I'm
36:02looking forward to the fourth
36:04match in this best of five series.
36:06Can Ken tie the numbers
36:08at the next Epic Encounters?
36:10Zoe Lucas
36:12and Aaliyah James went
36:14one on one in what for Zoe
36:16Lucas was a grudge match.
36:18Well I expected this to be
36:20as you say an absolute grudge
36:22match and a bit of a scrap,
36:24it turns out it was the complete
36:26opposite. Aaliyah James once again
36:28this time in quick fashion
36:30shocking. Zoe Lucas
36:32another big win for Aaliyah James
36:34but I tell you what Zoe Lucas I think
36:36at this point the next time we see her
36:38she'll be coming to the ring in a straight jacket
36:40because she is losing it.
36:42RKJ took out
36:44all his anger and all his
36:46frustration on Connor Mills.
36:48Well RKJ started this match
36:50a house on fire. He kicked the living
36:52crap out of Connor Mills.
36:54Connor Mills managed to rally back and
36:56definitely gave RKJ some.
36:58We saw at the very end
37:00the actions of Michael
37:02Oku who nearly getting himself interjected.
37:04Was he just taking
37:06initiative from his friend? Was he
37:08intending on attempting to cost
37:10RKJ the match? Nevertheless it
37:12didn't matter. RKJ had his eye
37:14on the ball this time. Big
37:16double stomp right across Connor
37:18Mills to finish the match and RKJ
37:20feels that losing that
37:22Speed King Championship could
37:24be a blessing because he fancies himself
37:26as moving up into the
37:28heavyweight division. He's got his eyes
37:30on that heavyweight championship.
37:32And in our main event
37:34the undisputed British heavyweight
37:36championship was on the line
37:38and what a fantastic
37:40professional wrestling match we witnessed
37:42between two of the best
37:44if not the best wrestlers in the
37:46world. Well Kyle Fletcher
37:48said that Will Ospreay for him
37:50was arguably the best wrestler
37:52in the world and on another level.
37:54Well I think Kyle Fletcher proved tonight
37:56that he is indeed on that level
37:58with Will Ospreay. Just tonight
38:00wasn't to be his night but
38:02I tell you what in the near future
38:04I could very well see Kyle Fletcher
38:06as a future undisputed
38:08British heavyweight champion absolutely
38:10no doubt. For me this was the
38:12best performance I have ever seen from
38:14Kyle Fletcher even if it was in defeat
38:16it was a very
38:18very close contest. This didn't
38:20strike me as the end for Kyle
38:22Fletcher this really struck me
38:24as a new
38:26beginning and
38:28I'm excited to see where he goes
38:30from here and I'm excited to see where
38:32Will Ospreay goes from here. So many men
38:34including Kyle Fletcher vying
38:36for that heavyweight championship and
38:38really demonstrating why it is the most
38:40important and prestigious championship
38:42in the whole of Europe.
38:44Thanks again for watching everyone. This has been
38:46an absolute thrill. Some of the absolute best
38:48wrestling in the world. Witness
38:50tonight and don't forget we're going
38:52to be back with Epic Encounters 4
38:54in three weeks time Sunday October
38:5625th. It premieres on
38:58Fight! Then it'll be on later in the week
39:00on rpwondemand.com and
39:02we're headlined by a huge
39:04undisputed British Women's Championship match
39:06between Giselle Shaw
39:08and Bea Priestley. It's going to be one you
39:10don't want to miss. So we'll see you again
39:12in a few weeks time.
