00:00We have Carrie Coon, how are you doing?
00:02Oh well, how are you?
00:03I'm good.
00:04Oh my goodness, you're stuffing.
00:05I hope all the detail is coming through on camera because there is just so many details
00:10in this outfit.
00:11It's astonishing.
00:12It's Tom Brown.
00:13I voiced one of the narration to his runway show and he's just been so generous to me
00:18and I love wearing it.
00:19It's really comfortable and I just feel so...
00:22Gorgeous.
00:23Yes, thank you.
00:24And it feels Gilded Age adjacent but very modern and my husband looks great.
00:27He's fine.
00:28You look fantastic.
00:29Do me a favor and hug no one.
00:31Yes.
00:32Okay.
00:33You're so right about that.
00:34No makeup on this.
00:35It's like a giant napkin.
00:36Good thing there's no food.
00:37Oh my God.
00:38We'll all be starving.
00:39Guys, I have a protein.
00:40I already ate one of my two protein bars.
00:41Oh no, that's...
00:42I couldn't fit one.
00:43I'm going to take that flour with me and eat it later.
00:44Yeah, as happy as these people all look, they don't eat for hours.
00:47No, a long time.
00:48Yeah.
00:49What does it feel like to be able to be here and have Gilded Age so celebrated this year?
00:53Well, it's a thrill.
00:54We really didn't know if we'd come back for a third season but so many people watched
00:57the show.
00:58So it's a real credit that the industry enjoys us so much.
01:01And we got our six nominations when we were in our second week of productions.
01:04We were all very tired.
01:0516-hour days, but we were just excited to be acknowledged.
01:09So there was a little adrenaline boost.
01:10Yes, absolutely.
01:11We needed everything.
01:12We got a long way to go.
01:13Yeah.
01:14Getting to go in-depth into this period, the Gilded Age, what's something that you would
01:20steal for modern day and what's something that you're like, leave that there?
01:24Oh my goodness.
01:25What would I steal for modern day?
01:27How about the formation of some unions?
01:29Right?
01:30This was the time when unions were born.
01:32There was no support for them, of course.
01:34But it was a really important movement.
01:36The lower classes were uniting to sort of stake their claim.
01:39Yeah.
01:40And then what would I leave behind?
01:41Arsenic biscuits to keep people skinny and white.
01:44They used to chomp them to lose weight and then they would die of arsenic.
01:48Introduce a new thing.
01:49I'm just like, I'm going to wait and let other people.
01:51I think that's a fair thing to do.
01:52That hasn't changed.
01:53We should always wait and see.
01:54Yeah.
01:55I love it.
01:56Well, ladies, enjoy your Emmys.
01:57Congratulations on all the success.
01:59Such a huge fan of yours and so glad to see you celebrated here.
02:01Thank you so much.
02:02I appreciate it.
