00:02Today we are reviewing a horror thriller from 2020 called The Superdeep.
00:08In 1984, epidemiologist Anna Fedorova lost her colleague when the vaccine testing started to go wrong.
00:16Because she felt guilty about the allowed testing on people without prior testing on animals,
00:21Anna wants to close the project, but colonel Yuri Mozorov stops her.
00:26Closing the project wouldn't help her to feel better, and neither would the soldiers in Africa, because they need her.
00:31If she left now, the death of her friend would be in vain.
00:34Months later, Anna spends New Year's Eve with her family and friends, because she managed to make the vaccine so quickly.
00:41Their evening is interrupted by a call from Mozorov, who needs Anna for a special mission.
00:47There was an incident in a very deep hole called Kola, where sounds are heard and where people are reported missing,
00:53and the station was shut down in 24 hours.
00:56The main investigator is excluded from the case because of hiding an unknown disease, and that's why they need Anna.
01:01After Morozov promises her the main position in the Military Biological Institute, Anna accepts and is ready to leave.
01:08In the morning, Anna arrives at the station with him and a group of soldiers led by Major Sergei Mikev and his right-hand man Egorov.
01:15As soon as they arrived on the ground, there was a problem.
01:17The scientist ran away from the station with a bomb in his hand, which detonated immediately, and he came to the helicopter.
01:23The group hears gunshots in their ears for a few seconds, but fortunately, everyone was fine.
01:27Anna doesn't want to waste time and goes to check his body to collect the sample, while Sergei stares at her and tries to guess where it came from.
01:35The sample turns into dust as soon as Anna puts it in a narrow barrel and can't help but notice the red light on the body.
01:41One of the guards at the station explains to her that the scientist had gone crazy as soon as he arrived on the ground, and that he was so strong that three soldiers couldn't stop him.
01:49The rest of the team started evacuating, so Anna goes to them to take samples from them.
01:54One of the members tells her that the ground is painful and that everyone is dead down there, and that she should go back to her family.
02:00All the hitmen were in line except for one, who had a fever and says that he saw something that overtook him.
02:06After that, Anna and the rest of the team go to the station with the chief scientist, Peter Kruznicev, and Dr. Dimitrij Grigorjev.

02:43As he comes to the bottom, the hitmen stop working, and Grigorjev reduces the pressure of the elevator and puts on a mask with oxygen while the rest fall unconscious.
02:51When he wakes up, Grigorjev has already left with the key to the elevator. It seems that they have reached the place where the person has been for most of the time.
02:58The main exit for the investigation is even lower than them, and there is another elevator that will take them down, but they can't activate it without a key.
03:04This part used to be full, but now there are only two people there, and they are engineer Nikolaj and Dr. Kira Vitaljevna, who were left during the evacuation.
03:14Kira takes them to the lab so that Anna can take samples from both and look through the microscope to confirm that they are not infected.
03:21It seems that Grigorjev planned all this and left them in that area because he is clean of any disease and has to find another source of the disease.

04:03Before looking at her, Anna asks Olga a few questions, but she doesn't remember anything that happened downstairs.
04:09She also burns from the disease, although she says she is cold.
04:13When Anna takes off her clothes, she finds something scary on Olga's back.

04:26While the soldiers report that they have found signs of life in the lower floors, Anna puts the sample under the microscope and reveals strange parasites as a large shape of a bush.

04:42Nikola starts working on the elevator to force him to come back, but it will take over an hour.
04:48Sergei tries to contact his team again, but it seems that they are unhappy when they see something dangerous and stop reporting to Wokitoki.
04:55At that moment, Grigorjev contacts them through the speaker and tells them that he hoped he would escape, so they don't leave him any choice now.
05:03Grigorjev continues to activate the bomb to lock them all inside the facility, while looking for a cure, and Sana reminds him of her own guilt related to the vaccine, so the area begins to shake around her because of the explosion.
05:15In the laboratory, Olga's body begins to glow and she slowly loses control, tearing the glass and attacking Kira.
05:22In the meantime, Nikola discovers that the explosion damaged the pressure pump, which will cause the facility to collapse in about an hour.
05:29He wants to find a way to get out and does not show any concern for the soldiers trapped in the lower part, which was hit by Sergei.
05:36However, Morozov agrees that the return to those soldiers is too dangerous, so they will go through the mine.
05:42Sergei goes with Ana to the laboratory for Olga and finds a very unpleasant surprise.
05:47The whole place is covered with mud and Olga is half drowned to the floor, but still alive.
05:52On the other side of the door, Morozov does not care that Ana is surrounded by contamination without protection and orders her to take samples.
05:59When Sana and Sergei get closer, Olga begins to release the gases, so Sergei runs out of the room, and Ana comes out and grabs the mask to avoid them breathing.
06:08So she finds Kira, who is infected and mutated like Olga, and she dies when she is surprised to jump out of the room.
06:14Ana tries to leave the room and has another hallucination related to the crime when she slips, but this allows her to find a fire extinguisher.
06:23She uses it to clean the air around her so she can open the door, and so that the noise does not escape, and after she closes it again, she asks Nikolai to use the fire extinguisher on her body for disinfection.
06:34After that, Ana goes to check on Sergei, but too late, because he is already infected and has lost his sight.

07:32They send three soldiers to the mine to investigate first, but the two quickly return after shooting something big that tried to attack them, but could not identify what was going on.
07:42The third soldier also returns without arms and finishes things with a knife just before the group locks him up.
07:48Whatever is in the mine now knows that they are there, so he starts knocking on the doors to try to get out.
07:54The group runs and arrives at the back of the area to see how the elevator finally arrives.
07:59Nikolaj starts working on how to get him down, hoping that he will be able to hold the lock in case of need.
08:04Sergei's body starts to shine and he knows that he doesn't have much time left, so he decides to stay with his people to try to stop the mysterious creature that finally came out of the door.
08:15Anna, Nikolaj, Piotr and Morozov enter the elevator and hold on tight until it starts to fall down.
08:20The pressure on Nikolaj is to reach the lever in the basement, so she has to go and do it herself.
08:25Luckily, she pulls the lever just in time and the elevator will surely fall to the lowest lever, which is colder than expected.
08:32All the rooms are covered with frost, and the picture of the scientist tells them that he also realized that the mine is weak in the cold and that the ice floor has kept it safe underground all these years.
08:41But sooner or later, they will realize that the frost has no end and that the mine could break.
08:46That is the reason why the group does not find survivors. They are stuck on the wall in a wildly melted pile of ice that has died from the cold.
08:53Morozov takes the last part and enters a 200-degree space to try to return the key to the elevator from Grigoryev.
09:00While waiting, Anna begs Nikolaj and Piotr not to say anything about this mold when he returns to the surface because it would cause more people to investigate, putting humanity in danger.
09:11Nikolaj accepts, but Piotr refuses because he hopes for a big discovery.
09:15While Morozov takes too long to return, Anna decides to enter the warm area without any protection, since in theory the human body can survive there for a few minutes.
09:24When the pictures begin to appear on her body, Anna finds Morozov dead on the floor because he sabotaged Grigoryev's work.
09:31Barim has the elevator key in his hand, so after seeing the beam shining on the walls, Anna takes the key and runs back inside.
09:38Nikolaj tries to help her, but Piotr suddenly shoots at his leg and asks him to give him the elevator key so he can get out and save Slava, who deserves this discovery.
09:47They give him the key, and Piotr enters the elevator with them, keeping an eye on them.
09:52When he returns to the level of the resting place, he goes to the first elevator corridor to investigate, and Piotr tries to keep Anna behind him so he can enter the elevator himself.
10:00However, he is surprised by some strange thing with the underground.
10:04This is a reverse creature made of infected members of a person who are merged into one organism.
10:10They are still alive and screaming while the creature is killing Piotr.
10:13Anna runs and hides in the kitchen, but the creature comes after her, so she grabs a knife and enters the freezer.
10:19She takes off most of her clothes and throws a bucket of cold water on her body, so the temperature is too low for her to catch a cold.
10:25Then she comes out and slides under the creature to take the key from Piotr.
10:30After locking the door behind her, Anna rushes out of the kitchen and grabs Nikolaj, so the two of them run together.
10:36However, the creature finds them when it breaks through the wall, so a couple run to the elevator and manage to close the door to the right while the creature tries to break in.
10:45The elevator is going up, but Nikolaj and Anna are waiting for the last surprise.
10:49With them is Sergey at the moment. He melts under the floor and begs them to do something while coughing up poison.
10:55Anna stops the elevator because she doesn't want to make a noise outside, but Nikolaj doesn't want to die here and activates it again.
11:01The two of them start fighting over control of the elevator.
11:04Nikolaj tries to kill Anna, and Sergey forces his body to the last effort, raises his hand and uses a hidden sign to kill Nikolaj first.
11:12To show his gratitude, Anna tells Sergey that she is from Yugoslavia and kisses him before he starts the elevator.
11:18Anna remembers that if she carries the wrong code three times, the elevator will collapse, so she starts hitting the numbers,
11:24which seemed harder than it actually was because she was infected and her body was starting to shine, so she felt weak.
11:31The first two attempts were wrong, and she barely hit half of the third wrong code when the diesel hit the surface,
11:37so she has to fight the pain so that the rescue team can hit the final numbers.
11:42The elevator starts a sequence of self-destruction, and Anna falls while leaving with the new team in the van.
11:48Surrounded by the soldiers, she uses the opportunity to steal a grenade from them and gets out of the vehicle as soon as the van leaves the facility.
11:55Seeing that more scientists are coming, Anna approaches them and detonates the grenade, which corresponds to the beginning of the story.
