00:00:00Previously, on The Amazing Race Celebrity Edition, in Salta, Argentina, the wild ride
00:00:09continued. UFC fighter Bam Bam and brother Logan had their eyes on the prize, beating
00:00:18all the other celebs to the pit stop. Bam Bam and Logan, you are the first team to check
00:00:23in. And in a sprint to the finish, Matt Bassingthwaite and sister Mel were pipped at the party.
00:00:29Unfortunately, your time on the race is over. You are eliminated. Tonight, high on the
00:00:37Inca Trail. It looks like it's from another world. Our celebs take on feats of endurance.
00:00:43Tunnel vision, this is what we do. Attested in a battle of wills. Of course this is going
00:00:49to happen. We get the one broken llama. And face off. What are you talking about? I'm
00:00:53talking about you being a smart ass. That's what I'm talking about. We're not on that.
00:00:56You got anything else smart to say? No, I'm just going to keep making my... Yeah, I didn't
00:00:59think so. Maybe when you don't know nothing, you keep your mouth shut.
00:01:26Out of all the places I've been, this is my favorite.
00:01:55Out of all the places I've been, I've never seen anything quite like this. We are in northwest
00:02:00Argentina on what's known as the Inca Trail. Stretching across six countries, the ancient
00:02:10pathway linked the vast empire of the Incan civilization who ruled South America. Those
00:02:16who walk the Incan Trail must battle extreme heat. And the air is thinner up here, making
00:02:22oxygen harder to come by. It was a trade route for about 10,000 years and now our teams
00:02:28are about to tread the well-worn path of the third leg of the amazing race Australia. Our
00:02:35nine remaining celebrity teams have travelled north to the township of Perma Marca and are
00:02:40departing in the order they arrived at the previous pit stop. Oh, good rip, good rip.
00:02:47Oh, that was the worst rip in the world. Sorry. Okay, here we go. Slow and steady. Drive to
00:02:53Fabrica de Ladrillos, Pure Marca. Now for the locals, they're brick making. Once you have
00:02:57correctly made 18 traditional adobe mud bricks, you will receive your next clue. For thousands
00:03:04of years, the people of this area have built their homes from adobe bricks. Local clay is
00:03:10mixed with straw and dried in the sun to create a thick brick that insulates against the extreme
00:03:15heat and cold of this high altitude desert region. In this challenge, our racers will get
00:03:21their hands dirty and mould 18 bricks. Once the foreman is happy with the shape and consistency,
00:03:27they'll receive their next clue. I got the keys. You got the keys. Let's go. It's beautiful. Very
00:03:42nice. It's a cactus, huh? Might be a few mountain climbs, I reckon. Oh, look at that. That's called
00:03:48Red Rock. Red Rock, it's called. It's part of the Andes, the bottom of the Andes. You just keep
00:03:56driving up there, mate. David Attenborough. Eyes on the road. This is bloody stunning. This is
00:04:06insane. Oh, let's just take it in before we have to run and then get exhausted. Our knowledge of
00:04:13the Incas is very small. This is great. But it's beautiful. We can say that. Yes. The Incas were
00:04:21people. Are the Incas people? The knowledge of the Incas is very small, as we said. Where do
00:04:33they live? Just keep an eye out for the road signs. Yeah, and so now what are we looking for?
00:04:40Information 1km ahead if we need it. You know what, I reckon we risk it for the biscuits.
00:04:49Okay, here we go. You are a winner. You are a winner.
00:04:56And the boot. Jesus Christ. North. So we've got to go that way. Yeah.
00:05:00This is another pinch me moment. Go on, give it to me. Come on. Come on. Come on,
00:05:05darling. This is surreal. This is sick. I love it. What we want to do is just be resilient today.
00:05:10Say no to nothing. Yeah. Go for everything. Hell for leather. Yeah. And I hope there's
00:05:14some serious crazy adventures coming our way. This is like Palm Springs. Melbourne and the
00:05:22desert are completely different. Well, there's definitely no place to get a soy latte.
00:05:30Kristen, how do you know it's this way, by the way? Is there a train track on the map?
00:05:35So our friendship, 30 years, has gone through so many different periods of our life, as you
00:05:40would expect. So we're going the right direction? I'm not sure. We're confident our friendship will
00:05:46survive the amazing race. It's a military, Kristen. Excuse me. Fabrica de Ladrillos.
00:05:56Thank you. Gracias.
00:06:07Let's go. Let's go.
00:06:09Okay. All right, first clue.
00:06:15Route info. You've correctly made 18 traditional.
00:06:17The mud bricks, you'll receive your next clue. 18 mud bricks.
00:06:24And some of this architecture, I've got to say, I feel like I'm in Star Wars. I feel like I'm in
00:06:28Tatooine. You love when I talk about Star Wars, don't you? I don't know. I don't get the references.
00:06:33You love it.
00:06:36The strategy is to just follow the stronger teams.
00:06:40We're not going to ask for directions as we're driving. We just, we know who we're going to
00:06:43follow. We're just going to follow teams. Ian, Thorpe, and Kristen. Just follow them,
00:06:48Eden. I'll admit it. These teams are stronger, faster, and, well, even smarter than us.
00:06:54They seem to know their way around better. They know Argentina well from the looks of it.
00:06:59We're the blonde leading the blonde. Yeah. Eden and Sarella behind us.
00:07:05Seems like a long drive. Hope we know where you're going,
00:07:07Thorpey. He's better at swimming than he is at driving.
00:07:09Rev it up. We're following you.
00:07:14Oh, what's those colors up there? Left in here. Left in here.
00:07:20I think the girls got in front of us. They won't be that good with their hands.
00:07:24Brick by brick, maybe. Parking is right here.
00:07:33Well, they got here all at the same time. Keep hydrated, boys.
00:07:37Bloody O, it's dry. It's gonna be a bit of laboring here.
00:07:41Being in the construction game, I see this sort of every day. Back home, I'm a qualified
00:07:46scaffolder and it's pretty hard work, but someone's got to do it, I guess.
00:07:52But it's one of those challenges where it's going to be a walk in the park for me.
00:07:56Some of these guys and girls might not like to get their hands dirty, but
00:08:00your boy over here is ready to rock and roll. Let's go, baby.
00:08:05Turn up to the job site. We see a big pile of mud and I looked at Chloe and I'm like,
00:08:10this is going to be some hard yak up. I'll tell you what, the zinc's going on today.
00:08:15For the last 10, 15 years as athletes, we've always either had to have another job,
00:08:20a second job or a full-time study. We've always had to graft for things that we wanted because
00:08:25soccer was never going to pay a full income for us. So we're no stranger to hard work.
00:08:32Grab some hay tie. Grab some hay first.
00:08:38Let's get plenty of mud to start. Yeah, he had a shovel. So do we have a shovel?
00:08:42No. Oh, come on, dog. Get amongst it. I was actually laying bricks as a landscaper.
00:08:48I would wake up in the morning, do landscaping, and then I would go into national team camp,
00:08:52play and then go back into landscaping. And I did that for a while until I made it back
00:08:56into the Matildas. Because remember, as soon as we lift these up, they need to stay.
00:09:00It's fine. You keep stomping.
00:09:05Kick, kick, kick. That's heavy. It's really heavy.
00:09:10Yeah, we're good. Let's go make some bricks, Bridge.
00:09:14Oh, all right. Which station do you want?
00:09:18Choose a station. Which one do you reckon? Which one takes your fancy?
00:09:24So he's got box, wet the box so it doesn't stick. Which is important.
00:09:31Smells like tacos. Okay.
00:09:37It's nice and thick, isn't it? Thick.
00:09:39Brooke and Adam aren't here.
00:09:52Okay, Barcena. Nope, still not there. It's all good. Oh, no, that's good.
00:09:57You found Barcena? Are we in Barcena?
00:10:02We've gone past it. We've gone way past it. What a tricky part of the road to navigate.
00:10:07It's a rugged landscape, the Incas. Yes.
00:10:13El Turnerando. I've been following my nose this whole time and it's led us well up until today.
00:10:21I think today Brooke has a blocked nose. This is how we play the game.
00:10:26This is what we do. Yeah. Put ourselves last.
00:10:29Yep. And then catch up.
00:10:31We just crawl. We just crawl our way back.
00:10:34We had such a bad start too.
00:10:39Oh, Jesus, we're coming last now.
00:10:44We're about 18. Just start on the next one.
00:10:47Okay. Two down, 16 to go.
00:10:51It just kind of reminds me of when we built our first house. You know, when we hired somebody to
00:10:56do it, they built it, then we came and looked at it. But it's very different because we're
00:11:02building it ourselves. It's very similar. Bridget's doing all the work and Pete's just
00:11:08standing there. Hey Pete, have you done anything? Oh, you caught one moment. You caught one moment.
00:11:19Bridget's better at most things than me, to be absolutely honest. I'm the weak link here.
00:11:25This is our marriage, guys.
00:11:26So I go right? Yep, that's it. Yep. Perfect.
00:11:37There's the mark, yellow and red. Yeah, there it is there.
00:11:40Get off the road.
00:11:44All right, let's go. Run there now.
00:11:49All right, we can follow Ian and Zingy anyways. Hopefully we're not the last team.
00:11:57Level it out. I'm never following anyone else again.
00:12:05Sweet. Okay, let's go.
00:12:09We'll find a station. Yep.
00:12:12Thorpe Hill and Christian are onto us, I'm thinking. I heard them saying that's the last
00:12:17time I'll follow someone. Yeah, well, go on, let's go get them on.
00:12:22So at this point, I think Christian and Ian have definitely caught on that we've been following
00:12:26them. I heard Christian making several comments that they're getting irritated with us following
00:12:31them. Everyone literally has to go down the same road anyway, so it's not really following you.
00:12:38I know when someone's going to bitch about someone, because if anyone talks about anyone,
00:12:41it's me. So look, we're the type of person you come at us, we are going to throw back.
00:12:47And I'll always defend my missus.
00:12:50Were you able to dig before, Christian, about us following you?
00:12:53About what?
00:12:53About us following you? Were you able to dig?
00:12:55No, why?
00:12:55I thought you were.
00:12:56I'm pretty sure you were.
00:12:57What did we say?
00:12:58About us following you or something?
00:13:01Oh, in the car?
00:13:02Yeah, what was that?
00:13:04We made the wrong turn with the men's team.
00:13:06I'm talking about you being a smartass, that's what I'm talking about.
00:13:08We're not on maps.
00:13:09Yeah.
00:13:11Yeah, and you ain't swimming right now either.
00:13:14It's on.
00:13:15But you're known as Ian Thorpe's friend.
00:13:16You're known as Ian Thorpe's friend.
00:13:18You're known as his mate.
00:13:20Just so you know, Ian's not you, it's all him.
00:13:24Thanks, babe.
00:13:25Yep, you're welcome, you're welcome.
00:13:26You got anything else smart to say, Christian?
00:13:28No, I'm just going to keep making my bitch.
00:13:29Yeah, I didn't think so, yeah, I didn't think so.
00:13:30Maybe when you don't know nothing, you keep your mouth shut.
00:13:33That's what you should do.
00:13:43I need some more mud.
00:13:50Yep.
00:13:51It's game time, baby.
00:13:53We are building mud bricks.
00:13:56I didn't get into stand-up comedy to do manual labour, so this is not my favourite moment.
00:14:01I've never seen bridges that are so dirty, to be honest, but I like it.
00:14:04It's kind of sexy.
00:14:06Signore.
00:14:08They look so good.
00:14:09They are solid.
00:14:10They are solid.
00:14:11It's good, it's good, it's good.
00:14:14Again, again.
00:14:15Annie, it's okay.
00:14:17We didn't wet the sides.
00:14:18Physically, it was hard.
00:14:19Everyone's hurting.
00:14:20We, we're definitely a hard-working bunch.
00:14:24Work smarter, not harder, guys.
00:14:26Get some, get some, hey, hey, hey.
00:14:29You sidekick.
00:14:32Yeah, we could hear them carrying on.
00:14:33I'm not even buying into it.
00:14:35That was such a threat.
00:14:37Oh my god, they're following us.
00:14:39If I'm competing in something, I am focused on how I can deliver the best result.
00:14:45So I can block people out and sometimes I choose to do it in life as well.
00:14:50Guys, this is f****** rubbish.
00:14:56Here it is, left.
00:14:58Here we go.
00:14:59Alright, time for a, time for a start again.
00:15:01Epic comeback.
00:15:04How good?
00:15:06We're gonna get physical.
00:15:08How are your nails going?
00:15:09Yeah.
00:15:11I think I now know the way I didn't become a concreter.
00:15:18I'm a concrete.
00:15:20You're a concrete.
00:15:21I'm a concrete.
00:15:22I'm a concrete.
00:15:23I'm a concrete.
00:15:24I'm a concrete.
00:15:25I'm a concrete.
00:15:25I'm a concrete.
00:15:26I'm a concrete.
00:15:26I'm a concrete.
00:15:27I'm a concrete.
00:15:28Oh, the tillies!
00:15:32Dale, Dale, I told you they'd catch you.
00:15:34No, no, no, don't worry, don't worry.
00:15:36We're not sussing out the competition, Dulls,
00:15:38because we're focusing on our task.
00:15:39I know, but Ty and Logan are obviously doing something right.
00:15:41Well, there's some big boys.
00:15:43Tillies, tillies look all right.
00:15:45I agree. That's good, that's good.
00:15:46Oh, that's way better. That's way better.
00:15:49I'm coming for you, Bam Bam.
00:15:51We both missed out on the most recent World Cup
00:15:53because of injuries.
00:15:55We are taking this amazing race
00:15:56like this is our World Cup, and we are not losing.
00:16:00Two more, Logs, and we're done.
00:16:03Well, hopefully.
00:16:05Two more, baby, two more!
00:16:07Let's go!
00:16:09We'll do a check after this, Chloe.
00:16:11Check, check, check.
00:16:13Watch your finger marks. Three, two, one, pull.
00:16:16Oh, yes.
00:16:17Check, please.
00:16:19Tillies are done.
00:16:22Yeah.
00:16:23Two.
00:16:24Two.
00:16:25Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:16:26Two bricks got rejected.
00:16:28Too much, hey.
00:16:29Life is about consistency.
00:16:31It's all about consistency, baby.
00:16:33Let's go, let's go.
00:16:34You can build a house.
00:16:36They're so strong.
00:16:42They're good, they're good.
00:16:43Yes.
00:16:44Come on.
00:16:45They're good.
00:16:46Come on.
00:16:47Yes!
00:16:49Thank you, thank you, thank you.
00:16:50OK.
00:16:51Come on.
00:16:52The boys are right behind us.
00:16:53Let's go.
00:16:54OK.
00:16:55Calm.
00:16:56We can be calm now.
00:16:57OK, detour.
00:16:58Let's go.
00:16:59This is important.
00:17:00Yes.
00:17:01OK.
00:17:02Walk like an Incan or dress like an Incan.
00:17:03A detour is a choice between two challenges,
00:17:05each with its own pros and cons.
00:17:07In this detour, teams will decide between dress like an Incan
00:17:11or dress like an Incan.
00:17:13Travellers on the Inca Way carried a lot on their backs
00:17:16using this, an awacho, a traditional Incan blanket.
00:17:19They would have passed through here,
00:17:21the seven sands of Pirmamaka.
00:17:23It's a tough slog, the altitude is real,
00:17:25but the rocks, they've really got to be seen to be believed.
00:17:28First, teams will trek to the mountaintop,
00:17:31close to 3,000 metres up.
00:17:33Then they must fill the carrying cloths with all the goods
00:17:36and supplies they need.
00:17:39Then they must fill the carrying cloths with all the goods
00:17:42and carry them securely on their backs down the mountain.
00:17:45The shopkeeper will check the load,
00:17:47and if correct, they'll receive their next clue.
00:17:52Meet my mate, the Akeko.
00:17:54Now, in the local Andean culture,
00:17:56the Akeko is a symbol of prosperity and abundance.
00:17:59Local tradition promises if you tie a miniature version
00:18:02of what you wish for to the doll, your wish will come true.
00:18:07Teams who choose Dress Like an Incan
00:18:09must find the town square market and the demonstration Akeko doll.
00:18:14Then they must tie each wish item onto their doll
00:18:17using only the strings provided.
00:18:20This challenge tests observation, dexterity and patience.
00:18:24Only when every item is tied securely to the doll
00:18:27will teams receive their next clue.
00:18:30Hey, buddy, if I wish right now, lip balm.
00:18:34I really need some lip balm.
00:18:37I think that we can walk like an Incan.
00:18:39Walk like an Incan? I think so.
00:18:40It's probably going to be a trek.
00:18:41That's fine. Are you good with that?
00:18:42Yeah, let's go. OK, all right, fine.
00:18:43Let's go.
00:18:46Yep, check, check, check.
00:18:54Yeah!
00:18:56Gracias, senor. Gracias, gracias.
00:18:58So who in a bricklayer, baby? Let's go!
00:19:02I just need to clean my nails.
00:19:04Bro.
00:19:06That'll do me.
00:19:09I definitely won't be going to get an apprenticeship
00:19:12in Argentinian bricklaying, that's for sure.
00:19:18Detour.
00:19:22Walk like an Incan or dress like an Incan?
00:19:25Dress?
00:19:26Yeah.
00:19:29You know what?
00:19:30All right, let's go.
00:19:32I mean, I'm proud of us for getting out of there
00:19:34as quick as we did.
00:19:36We're just going to hustle.
00:19:37There was two challenges.
00:19:38One was walking, who knows where and who knows for how long.
00:19:41Another one was dressing something.
00:19:43We weren't sure.
00:19:44We're athletes.
00:19:45We chose the walk.
00:19:47Hi.
00:19:48Hi.
00:19:49Can we have yellow, please?
00:19:50Yellow?
00:19:51Yellow, see?
00:19:52Yellow?
00:19:53Yeah.
00:19:54Good shot.
00:19:55We've backed our legs, we've backed ourselves.
00:19:56It's going to get hot and the air is thin.
00:19:58Through your nose.
00:19:59Altitude is not for everyone and it is a killer
00:20:02no matter how fit you are.
00:20:03As elite athletes, we train in altitude
00:20:05so that we can be fit when we go back to ground level.
00:20:07What if we chose the wrong one, Poe?
00:20:09We didn't.
00:20:10We ain't going back now, dog.
00:20:11We know Bam Bam and Logan are right on our tails.
00:20:13If they pick this, they don't know what it is either.
00:20:17True.
00:20:21Let's go, lads.
00:20:23I've got a feeling the dress is going to be hard.
00:20:26We grew up in Mount Druitt.
00:20:28Yeah, you can't compare Western Sydney to Argentina.
00:20:31Argentina.
00:20:32No, it's here, Tai.
00:20:36Iglesia Santa Rosa de Lima.
00:20:38Yeah, see?
00:20:39See?
00:20:40Yeah, yeah.
00:20:41So we've got a copy there.
00:20:44This goes...
00:20:45This is our station, yeah.
00:20:46Right here.
00:20:47Just chuck them on anyway.
00:20:48Get them on there.
00:20:50You're more delicate with these things
00:20:52because I'll end up breaking.
00:20:54Hola!
00:20:57I'm very grateful for my career.
00:21:00I'm a UFC heavyweight.
00:21:02Yeah, keep it up there, lads.
00:21:03You're doing great, mate.
00:21:05You're killing it.
00:21:07People want to take photos.
00:21:10I'm a bit of a hit with the cougars, you know what I mean?
00:21:14The old women love me.
00:21:15Come here, come here!
00:21:18You're doing good there, lads, mate.
00:21:20You're killing it, mate.
00:21:21You're killing it.
00:21:22It was a whole lot of little fidgety,
00:21:26having to tie up bits of rope together
00:21:29just to try and make a long one.
00:21:32And it was just...
00:21:33Oh, it was very...
00:21:35Tedious.
00:21:36Tedious.
00:21:37The technique you learn when you're in the ring
00:21:40and you're in the ring,
00:21:41it's a little bit more difficult.
00:21:43Yeah.
00:21:44The technique you learn when you're scaffolded
00:21:47is called, if you don't know knots, tie lots.
00:21:52But this is...
00:21:53I can't do this.
00:21:54My fingers can't...
00:21:56They can't...
00:22:00They're good for punching, not for...
00:22:06It's brick making day!
00:22:11Need some more mud.
00:22:14Yep.
00:22:16Mix the hay.
00:22:20It's a pretty amazing bridge.
00:22:21We're at the foothills of the Andes.
00:22:22Look at those colours.
00:22:23Yeah.
00:22:24Those colours are spectacular.
00:22:25Those rocks, amazing.
00:22:26Have we seen the positives in this?
00:22:27Yeah.
00:22:28We're going to be glowing.
00:22:30We're going to shit out here.
00:22:32Yeah, we're slow.
00:22:34Everyone's going to struggle.
00:22:35It's a tough challenge.
00:22:37We've got a long way to go.
00:22:38I know.
00:22:39Ah!
00:22:40Ow!
00:22:44Bit of a stompy then, hey?
00:22:46Yeah.
00:22:48He's slowing down, the old boy.
00:22:50Slowing down a bit.
00:22:51Oh, this is hard work.
00:22:55How's the shit?
00:22:58The mud is very thick,
00:23:00and it takes quite a bit to move it around and grab it.
00:23:03We're up in the mountains.
00:23:05Altitude.
00:23:06High altitude, it's hot.
00:23:07Hot!
00:23:08We've got to carry this mud each time,
00:23:10pick it all up, carry it over,
00:23:12and then you're packing it in,
00:23:13mixing the hay,
00:23:14your hands are getting all chipped from the rocks in there.
00:23:16Yes.
00:23:17Pricked from the hay.
00:23:19It's tough.
00:23:20It's bloody tough.
00:23:22Check, please!
00:23:25Check, please!
00:23:27Check, please!
00:23:28Other people got there after us and were taking off before us.
00:23:31You go, that's when you start to get a bit frustrated.
00:23:34Keep going, lads.
00:23:36You got this, boys.
00:23:37Doing well.
00:23:38We're thinking of like a nice pizza oven.
00:23:41You got it!
00:23:42Yes!
00:23:43Give me a hug, give me a hug.
00:23:46Yes!
00:23:47Thank you so much.
00:23:50Where's our little stick?
00:23:51Huh?
00:23:53Check when you're ready.
00:23:56Yes!
00:23:58Thank you so much.
00:23:59Thank you so much.
00:24:01We did it.
00:24:02We did it.
00:24:03Day two.
00:24:05Walk like an Incan, or dress like an Incan.
00:24:08Dress like an Incan, let's go.
00:24:09That's going to be that detail.
00:24:10I think we want the dress like an Incan.
00:24:11Yeah.
00:24:12The other one's going to be about strength.
00:24:13Yeah.
00:24:14Okay, let's do it.
00:24:15Let's go.
00:24:16Do you want to do dress?
00:24:17Okay.
00:24:18Physically should be a bit easier.
00:24:19Okay, let's do dress.
00:24:20Yep, yep.
00:24:21Yes, senor.
00:24:23Yes, mate.
00:24:24Please, sir.
00:24:25Please, please, please.
00:24:28Got it.
00:24:30Oh, well.
00:24:31Here you go again.
00:24:34Yeah, as the pressure builds, you're wasting more and more time.
00:24:37We can see Thorpey and Christian, Brooke and Adam, and Cyril and Eden there too.
00:24:41Yeah, one of us could be going home tonight.
00:24:45Tough judge.
00:24:46Yep.
00:24:54Oh, this is it.
00:24:57That's beautiful.
00:24:58Yeah, we got him down pat now.
00:24:59Doing well, mate.
00:25:01We are making the Great Australian Amazing Race comeback.
00:25:05Because we got totally lost, we are running so far behind.
00:25:09We had to give up our dignity.
00:25:11We did.
00:25:12We had to sacrifice our clothing.
00:25:13Great to go.
00:25:14Yeah.
00:25:15Scrape.
00:25:16This is great.
00:25:17And just get our hands dirty.
00:25:18And we did.
00:25:20Oh, check.
00:25:21Check, please.
00:25:24Mate, you want to feel bad?
00:25:25What?
00:25:26Blue, who came here 10 minutes after us.
00:25:30You know what's a worry?
00:25:31What?
00:25:32After we do this, we've probably got to drive somewhere.
00:25:34Mate, it's okay.
00:25:35It's not our strongest point.
00:25:36Come on, come on, come on.
00:25:41Hey, give me a cuddle.
00:25:45Some of my muscles are all sore from detour.
00:25:47Detour.
00:25:48Detour.
00:25:49Walk like an Incan or dress like an Incan.
00:25:51So that's going to be detail.
00:25:53You want to do that?
00:25:54Let's do that one.
00:25:55Let's dress like an Incan.
00:25:56Let's go.
00:26:05Oh, this is sick.
00:26:07This is sick.
00:26:11I swear I'm an athlete.
00:26:12I swear I'm an athlete.
00:26:13And it's all about the breathing.
00:26:15Can we cut, Chloe?
00:26:16No, we can't cut.
00:26:17Oh!
00:26:19Why are you such a stickler for the rules?
00:26:21This has to be it.
00:26:22Hello.
00:26:23Hi.
00:26:24Oh, no.
00:26:25We have to load this?
00:26:26The goal for this mission is to get everything into that cloth.
00:26:29Yes.
00:26:30To wrap the cloth.
00:26:31Put the wool down for me somewhere.
00:26:33And let's wrap it around.
00:26:34No, no, no, no, no.
00:26:35One wool at a time.
00:26:36Emily.
00:26:37Yes.
00:26:38Put the wool down.
00:26:39Yours.
00:26:40Put your wool down.
00:26:41And what?
00:26:42You.
00:26:43I go around.
00:26:44You make sure it's done correctly.
00:26:45Okay?
00:26:46One at a time.
00:26:47Let's get this right.
00:26:48We had a bit of a strategy.
00:26:49Yes.
00:26:50We're going to tuck everything in.
00:26:51Yes.
00:26:52And we're going to get all four corners.
00:26:53Put it there.
00:26:54Stick the broomstick through.
00:26:55Throw it on the box.
00:26:57I'm going to break my shoulders doing this.
00:26:59You know what's going wrong?
00:27:00The basket needs to be...
00:27:02It needs to be like that.
00:27:03Like a backpack.
00:27:04That's not going to work.
00:27:05That's not going to work.
00:27:06It has to be held up like this.
00:27:08It has to be.
00:27:09It was heavy.
00:27:10It was awkward.
00:27:11I'm sure the Incans would have had a better technique,
00:27:13but at this point, as long as we get this job done,
00:27:15we don't care.
00:27:16Oh, yeah.
00:27:17Oh, no, no, no.
00:27:18You're about to lose an onion.
00:27:19Oh, no.
00:27:20Oh, no.
00:27:21Oh, no.
00:27:22Oh, no.
00:27:23Oh, no.
00:27:24Oh, no.
00:27:25Oh, no.
00:27:26Oh, no.
00:27:27Oh, no.
00:27:28Oh, no.
00:27:29Oh, no.
00:27:30Oh, no.
00:27:31You're about to lose an onion.
00:27:32Okay, you've got to go back down.
00:27:33You've got to go back down.
00:27:34Yep, all your veggies are coming out.
00:27:35How am I?
00:27:36How am I?
00:27:37How am I?
00:27:38You stay.
00:27:39Chloe, are you regretting this because...
00:27:40No.
00:27:41No regrets.
00:27:42Let's go.
00:27:43Let's go.
00:27:44Okay, yep, let's go.
00:27:45Calm.
00:27:46I'm just going to scream soon so I can get it out of my system.
00:27:47Get it out.
00:27:48You want to do it together?
00:27:49Yeah.
00:27:50Ah!
00:27:51Ah!
00:27:52Ah!
00:27:53Ah!
00:27:54So we knew we were in the bottom three, basically we needed to nail it.
00:28:07Check!
00:28:08Gracias.
00:28:10Senor, check.
00:28:11What do you think mate?
00:28:12Come on.
00:28:13It's been a long hard day.
00:28:14Thank God.
00:28:15Don't step on it.
00:28:16Gracias.
00:28:17Muchas gracias.
00:28:19Walk like an Incan or dress like an Incan?
00:28:20Walk like an Incan.
00:28:21Let's go.
00:28:22Let's go, let's go.
00:28:23Yeah, I can walk.
00:28:24I'm going to collect a load for my local traveller and deliver.
00:28:27I can be tough, everyone.
00:28:28Let's walk.
00:28:29All right.
00:28:30Check please.
00:28:31Yes.
00:28:33Gracias.
00:28:34Yes.
00:28:35This one's remembering and this one's...
00:28:36Or you freak.
00:28:37Or I say walk like an Incan.
00:28:38Walk like an Incan.
00:28:39Good.
00:28:40Let's go.
00:28:41Get in the hole.
00:28:42There's two in there.
00:28:43Get in the hole.
00:28:51Who picked this?
00:28:53Barbie or so, 2023. Enko dolls, 2024.
00:28:58We do have a moment to take a look around.
00:29:00We're at the foothills of the Andes.
00:29:01And also this beautiful village, there's a market going on.
00:29:04I'll get some slippers.
00:29:05We wish we could grab a quesadilla or something,
00:29:08but we have no time for quesadillas.
00:29:10Hola.
00:29:11Hello.
00:29:12I think everything's there, we've just got to put it on.
00:29:14I used to play with my sister's dolls,
00:29:15more the strawberry shortcakes and the cabbage patch kids.
00:29:19Can't remember an Enko doll, to be honest.
00:29:22No, I didn't have an Enko doll growing up.
00:29:24You know, putting your tongue out helps.
00:29:28So the strings are on the bells.
00:29:30One string's tied all the bricks together.
00:29:32Just needs to be attached.
00:29:33Yep. Let's go.
00:29:34It's over there, right this side.
00:29:38All the things here, yeah.
00:29:40Food bag bum.
00:29:41I feel like we might have an advantage here.
00:29:44Why?
00:29:45Because we've got smaller hands than I think maybe the boys.
00:29:51Oh yeah.
00:29:52Don't you reckon?
00:29:53You said smaller, you didn't say I had small hands.
00:29:55Put all the small shit in there.
00:30:02Check.
00:30:03Check, check, check.
00:30:11Got to read it again.
00:30:13We have to tie them on.
00:30:16Aunty has securely tied all the supplied items.
00:30:19We did not play with any dolls as kids.
00:30:23Alright, here, tools.
00:30:25I'm going to tie all the tools together.
00:30:27Majority of it tied on, I guess.
00:30:31But not everything was securely tied on,
00:30:33so we'll just start again.
00:30:37How are yous?
00:30:39We'll get there.
00:30:41We found it.
00:30:43We're going to the next lake.
00:30:44Oh, here's the doll.
00:30:46You're dressing him nice?
00:30:47Dressing him nice.
00:30:48Aw.
00:30:49Okay, we got this.
00:30:52Don't cut corners.
00:30:53No, I'm not.
00:30:54Don't cut corners.
00:30:55Why is anyone wishing for a bell?
00:30:58I've got a bell.
00:30:59I've got a bell.
00:31:00I've got a bell.
00:31:01I've got a bell.
00:31:02I've got a bell.
00:31:03I've got a bell.
00:31:04I've got a bell.
00:31:05I've got a bell.
00:31:06I've got the motorbike.
00:31:08All we were wishing for was longer pieces of string.
00:31:13That didn't stay on.
00:31:15It's got to be tied on you.
00:31:24Look at this.
00:31:25Ah, that's beautiful.
00:31:26It looks like it's from another world.
00:31:27Look at that.
00:31:28It's amazing.
00:31:30Em, is this harder than training for an Olympics
00:31:32and missing out on a Home World Cup?
00:31:33No.
00:31:34We got this.
00:31:35We got this.
00:31:36This is easy.
00:31:37It wasn't about the physical effort.
00:31:39It was the gruelling, agonising imbalance
00:31:41of all the stuff that was on my back.
00:31:45But we are elite athletes.
00:31:47We're built for this.
00:31:48We are built for this moment.
00:31:50Tunnel vision.
00:31:51This is what we do.
00:31:52We do this on a daily basis.
00:31:54Your mind is so strong and your body will follow.
00:32:00Onion.
00:32:05See the girls ahead?
00:32:06Yeah.
00:32:07Alright.
00:32:08Yeah, let me help you.
00:32:09No, it's OK.
00:32:10Is it far up that way?
00:32:11300 metres.
00:32:12200 metres that way.
00:32:13Cool.
00:32:14We're good.
00:32:16Alright, let's make up some time here.
00:32:20Are you sure?
00:32:21Like this?
00:32:22Oh, easy.
00:32:25Take some deep breaths.
00:32:28You alright, guys?
00:32:29Yeah, mate.
00:32:30Oh, we're ready.
00:32:31Alright, take your time.
00:32:32We're resting.
00:32:34Oscar.
00:32:35Billy.
00:32:36This is going to be the hardest thing you f***ing do today.
00:32:38Did you collect the load up there?
00:32:39Up there.
00:32:40Get your legs pumping, guys.
00:32:43Didn't exactly fill us with confidence.
00:32:45We've just come from the bricklaying.
00:32:47We're tired.
00:32:48Not far.
00:32:49We can see it.
00:32:50Last push.
00:32:51This is the shop?
00:32:52No.
00:32:53No, no, no.
00:32:54Go back to the gate.
00:32:55The shopkeeper.
00:33:00Cross your legs and sit down.
00:33:01I can't.
00:33:02Okay.
00:33:03Just...
00:33:04I'm going to have to...
00:33:11Opening our...
00:33:12Packs.
00:33:13Packs.
00:33:14Laying them down and the lady coming over.
00:33:16Every vegetable accounted for.
00:33:17Yes.
00:33:18Counting every single item.
00:33:19No, do you know what this feels like?
00:33:21Lining up to take a penalty shootout.
00:33:22Oh my god, true.
00:33:23True.
00:33:24This has to be us.
00:33:25This has to be us.
00:33:26Please.
00:33:27Please.
00:33:28Please.
00:33:29Please.
00:33:30Please.
00:33:31Please.
00:33:32Please.
00:33:33Please.
00:33:34Please.
00:33:36I don't know how you do this.
00:33:37It's hard.
00:33:38Hold that.
00:33:39Okay.
00:33:40Here we go.
00:33:41Roadblock.
00:33:42Who wants to be the leader of the pack?
00:33:44A roadblock is a challenge only one team member must choose to complete based on a cryptic clue.
00:33:50Teams will drive to the town of Tilkerra and locate the Caravana Dalamas.
00:33:55One team member will get up close and personal with the locals.
00:33:59But watch out.
00:34:00They spit when they're annoyed.
00:34:03They must dress the notoriously stubborn llama and take it on its daily walk.
00:34:08Once they've navigated the llama through the valley, they'll be awarded their next clue.
00:34:12No dramas, llama.
00:34:14I'll do it.
00:34:15You do it.
00:34:16Okay.
00:34:17Make your way to the Caravana Dalamas in Tilkerra to take a llama on its daily walk.
00:34:22Yes!
00:34:23Yes!
00:34:24Come on this way.
00:34:25This way.
00:34:31I've got to get these together too.
00:34:32I wish we win.
00:34:34Gorgeous, beautiful, stunning little hat.
00:34:36I'm going to have a little nap and just really meditate for a second before I smash the doll.
00:34:43I'm definitely glad I had Logan there because once I kind of get frustrated, I lose my mind a little bit.
00:34:53We're literally trying to tie everything on now.
00:34:57We went from the hard things to the small things.
00:35:02We'll get there.
00:35:04Because in the end, we always get there.
00:35:07Can we check?
00:35:08Senor, check.
00:35:15How are we looking, senor?
00:35:19Don't do this up again.
00:35:22Yes!
00:35:23Come on, baby!
00:35:24Yes, baby!
00:35:25Yes, baby!
00:35:26Come on!
00:35:37Sandwich me!
00:35:47Who wants to be leader of the pack?
00:35:49I got that.
00:35:50You got it?
00:35:51I'm the leader of the pack, baby.
00:35:52I reckon we could come back here.
00:35:54Oh my lord, how have you done that?
00:35:57Check, please!
00:36:07Take a llama on its daily walk.
00:36:09That's awesome, let's go!
00:36:17Keep going, baby.
00:36:19Struggling a bit, it's hot.
00:36:22Hey!
00:36:23Voila!
00:36:24Voila!
00:36:25Beautiful!
00:36:26Let's lay it on, see what we can fit on each.
00:36:29Is there a smaller load?
00:36:30Hang on, do we have to bring down one load or two?
00:36:32One.
00:36:33Why are you getting those sticks for, mate?
00:36:35Sorry, mate.
00:36:36Hey!
00:36:40Christian, we're overthinking this.
00:36:41Yeah, let's just get it done.
00:36:43Let's put this here.
00:36:46Ignore Daz completely.
00:36:47Ignore Daz completely.
00:36:49Alright, you give me all the heavy stuff for real.
00:36:51All the heavy stuff.
00:36:52Yeah, I know, but we also can't let it break sometimes.
00:36:54I know, I know, but you take some of the...
00:36:56I'm not motivated by who is behind me.
00:36:59It doesn't affect me if I like them, I dislike them.
00:37:02None of that is relevant to allowing me to perform.
00:37:06Wanting to finish ahead of them, of course, it's obvious.
00:37:09We're in a race.
00:37:10Okay, let's go, let's go, Christian.
00:37:12How do we carry all this?
00:37:16How do you feel, man?
00:37:18I feel my head, but I'm going to soldier on.
00:37:23You good?
00:37:25Yeah?
00:37:26Yeah.
00:37:29Walking up the hill, it was hot, and then I started to feel terrible.
00:37:35Have a breather.
00:37:37I honestly thought I couldn't do it.
00:37:39A couple of times there I thought, ooh, I don't know if I can do this.
00:37:48We are on the Inca Trail.
00:37:5010,000 years old.
00:37:53It is rocky, it is dry, it is hot.
00:37:57And have I mentioned the altitude?
00:38:01Feeling okay?
00:38:02I'm all right.
00:38:03Altitude's awesome.
00:38:06So at least we know now.
00:38:08We've got two people that are behind us now.
00:38:10It's good.
00:38:13Good job, honey.
00:38:14That is fantastic.
00:38:15Fantastic.
00:38:16You're a machine.
00:38:18You got this, honey.
00:38:19As long as it's in.
00:38:20I'll take it, I'm going to sprint.
00:38:22All right, let's go, Eden, quick.
00:38:24Eden, hold the bottom of the bag that nothing falls out.
00:38:29All right, Dave, you have to sit in shape.
00:38:31Yep.
00:38:32We got up the hill.
00:38:33Yep.
00:38:35And I was stuffed, I was struggling.
00:38:37The body's, oh, it's getting a bit sore, to be honest.
00:38:40Played 198 games for the Cats.
00:38:42When you play, there's obviously sacrifices you've got to make.
00:38:45Had a hip replacement, had a fused ankle.
00:38:48And, oh, that's right, I've done my shoulder, I can't lift.
00:38:53I'm all right, yeah, I'm all right.
00:38:54I'm getting better, I feel, yeah, yeah.
00:38:56Do you need my help?
00:38:58Ideally.
00:39:00Oscar, to his credit, he did everything.
00:39:02Packed it all up.
00:39:04You've got to hold the stick.
00:39:05Hold this end up too, if you can.
00:39:07Yeah.
00:39:08Actually put it on my back and did everything, so.
00:39:12Good on you, boy.
00:39:13Good work.
00:39:14Righto, mate, let's go.
00:39:15Slow and steady.
00:39:16Slow and steady.
00:39:17Just don't walk too fast, because then the back will get too far away.
00:39:20At this point going down, we're not thinking about where we are or who's in front.
00:39:23It's just getting down that hill.
00:39:25Okay, this is good.
00:39:26Slow and steady.
00:39:27Yeah, I'm happy with this cock.
00:39:28Yeah.
00:39:33Oh, for goodness sake, it's so fiddly, I know.
00:39:36These are wish items that Argentinians, I guess, wish for.
00:39:40I'm wishing for a pass.
00:39:43Did you get them all?
00:39:44Oh, they've all come out again.
00:39:45That's alright.
00:39:46We realised knots with small pieces of string are in the same department as directions for us.
00:39:53Not very good at either.
00:39:54I think I've stuffed this rope up.
00:39:56And then all of a sudden.
00:39:57Check.
00:39:58Check, please.
00:39:59Check, please.
00:40:00I'm watching everyone else.
00:40:01You're getting checked.
00:40:02I'm getting checked.
00:40:10Everyone just disappeared.
00:40:12Who will last to leave there again?
00:40:17Great.
00:40:20Who wants to be a leader of the pack?
00:40:21Havana.
00:40:22Yes, he does.
00:40:23I think you're a good leader, Bridget.
00:40:24I'll be a leader.
00:40:25Take a llama on its daily walk.
00:40:28Let's go find a llama.
00:40:29Let's do it.
00:40:31Llama's going to love me.
00:40:32I mean, llamas are basically messed up horses, really, aren't they?
00:40:35They don't really know what they are.
00:40:37They're part giraffe, part sheep, part horse.
00:40:42Find the marked person.
00:40:43Yeah, and there's llamas here.
00:40:44Where?
00:40:45So the marked path.
00:40:46I'm so excited to walk some llamas.
00:40:49I'm happy.
00:40:50The first thing that we see, no Bam Bam and Logan.
00:40:54We can go.
00:40:56Palermio.
00:40:57Palermio, my G.
00:40:58I am ecstatic.
00:41:01So all of a sudden, we're in first place, and it's game on.
00:41:05Yes.
00:41:06Good job, Chloe.
00:41:07Crushing it.
00:41:10Perfect.
00:41:11Read that.
00:41:12Read it out loud.
00:41:13What does it say?
00:41:14Put on the saddle.
00:41:15Secure the gall around its neck.
00:41:17Around your neck?
00:41:18Yes, Chloe.
00:41:19Once your llama's fully kitted, make your way down to the riverbed
00:41:22to deliver your llama to the farmer.
00:41:24Yes.
00:41:25You are a legend, llama.
00:41:27Thank you so much.
00:41:28Keep giving love to that llama.
00:41:30We don't want no drama.
00:41:31Emmie, I think I'm good.
00:41:33Good job, Chloe.
00:41:34Let's go.
00:41:35You got this, Chloe.
00:41:37The boys are still not here.
00:41:38We're looking good.
00:41:39Come on.
00:41:40Just get a good stride.
00:41:41One step at a time.
00:41:42Come on.
00:41:45Should I bring them out?
00:41:50Have you got everything?
00:41:51Yeah.
00:41:52Boys have dropped back, I think.
00:41:54Yeah, I mean.
00:41:55Dropped a bit?
00:41:56Hopefully.
00:41:58Come on.
00:42:00Being at altitude, you can feel the difference.
00:42:03The way you breathe, it makes it harder when you weigh a fair bit.
00:42:07Let's go, lads.
00:42:09Not long, not long.
00:42:11It was a dalaama.
00:42:17We had a dalaama.
00:42:18We had a dalaama.
00:42:20The way that the hill was working,
00:42:23I had a dalaama with my breathing.
00:42:27Hello.
00:42:29We get to where the llamas are.
00:42:31We've seen the tillies.
00:42:32Come on.
00:42:33And Bambalaga just behind us.
00:42:35We had the opportunity to overtake them.
00:42:37The llamas?
00:42:38I like the one with the green.
00:42:39You like the red-headed one, don't you?
00:42:41I feel like Simon is my boy.
00:42:44I was standing there watching you and I thought.
00:42:47Come on, Simon.
00:42:48You got this in the bag.
00:42:49Let's go for a walk, shall we?
00:42:51Oh, look, he's being...
00:42:52I know, look at him.
00:42:53He's being at one with the llama.
00:42:57This will be interesting.
00:42:58The llamas can be a bit of a pain.
00:43:00They don't always want to listen.
00:43:02Kind of like me.
00:43:04Oh, you really don't like me, do you?
00:43:06And I was like, oh no.
00:43:07I am in all sorts here.
00:43:09Oh, Simon does not want to go anywhere.
00:43:14Babe, I picked a terrible llama.
00:43:17Let's go, lads.
00:43:18Yeah, the boys.
00:43:19Come on.
00:43:20They would be furious.
00:43:22Cusco, Cusco.
00:43:25That walk up here was horrendous.
00:43:32I can see a couple of the other teams.
00:43:34Come on, Simon.
00:43:35Let's go for a stroll, huh?
00:43:36There's a team that's struggling.
00:43:38Come on.
00:43:40Find the boards up here at the moment.
00:43:42This is like the traditional dress or something like that there.
00:43:46We'll come back.
00:43:48Cusco, Cusco, Cusco.
00:43:50The tillies overtook us, but there's still a chance to come first.
00:43:53Cusco, Cusco, Cusco.
00:43:56Cusco, Cusco, Cusco.
00:43:57Come on.
00:43:58Come on, boy.
00:43:59Come on.
00:44:00Come on.
00:44:01Being a spectator is so hard.
00:44:03I'm looking at Chloe.
00:44:04She knows what she's doing, where she's going, but feeling helpless.
00:44:07And I'm wanting to get out there and help her move that llama to where it needed to go.
00:44:11Because Bam Bam and Logan are right on our tails.
00:44:13Andale, Andale.
00:44:14Cusco, Cusco, Cusco.
00:44:15I'm not going to lie.
00:44:16It stressed me out.
00:44:18Come on.
00:44:19Come on.
00:44:22Don't miss a moment of the action.
00:44:26With full episodes of The Amazing Race Celebrity Edition on TenPlay.
00:44:38What a shocker today, huh?
00:44:39We have had a shocker.
00:44:45Just got to keep thinking positive, hun.
00:44:47Thinking positive all the way.
00:44:49Checky check.
00:44:50Checky check.
00:44:52Let's try.
00:44:53I hope it doesn't fall.
00:44:54Oh my God.
00:44:55It's going to fall off.
00:45:02Please.
00:45:04Yeah.
00:45:08Thank you so much.
00:45:10Appreciate it.
00:45:13All right.
00:45:14What have we got here?
00:45:15Who wants to be the leader of the pack?
00:45:16It's your turn.
00:45:17Okay.
00:45:18You got to do it.
00:45:19Let's go.
00:45:20Let's go.
00:45:21Let's go, hun.
00:45:22Come on.
00:45:23We're still in it.
00:45:24We're still in the game.
00:45:31You can throw it in there, mate.
00:45:33Make mine.
00:45:34I'll do all the heavy lifting.
00:45:38Basket.
00:45:40Here, I'll pick it up.
00:45:43How's the serenity?
00:45:47It's actually quite peaceful walking down.
00:45:50You good?
00:45:51Yeah.
00:45:54Once we understood how we were actually going to do what we needed to do,
00:45:58it was just a matter of taking the necessary care to get down there without things falling out.
00:46:03Hello.
00:46:06Check.
00:46:07Check.
00:46:11Hey, muchas gracias.
00:46:14Gracias.
00:46:16Great walk.
00:46:18Yeah, you do it.
00:46:19Take a llama on its daily walk.
00:46:21Sweet.
00:46:22Awesome.
00:46:23Let's go.
00:46:24I'm bummed.
00:46:26I'm starting to think we should have just gone with the memory thing.
00:46:29We didn't.
00:46:30Remember some of our charities, Brave Hearts?
00:46:32That's what we're going to be now.
00:46:33We're the Brave Hearts.
00:46:35I don't want to give up, but it is hard work.
00:46:37Don't give it up, honey.
00:46:38Don't give it up, honey.
00:46:39It is true.
00:46:40I'm thinking about the charity.
00:46:41I don't want to lose.
00:46:42I want to come out strong.
00:46:44It's so hard.
00:46:45Come on, cyclone.
00:46:47Don't make me laugh.
00:46:48Come on, cyclone.
00:46:50We're all going to lose me.
00:46:51Come on.
00:46:52I'm not giving up.
00:46:53You can do it.
00:46:54I'm not giving up.
00:46:55Come on.
00:46:56We're all going to lose me.
00:46:57I'm not doing it.
00:46:58Down the hill, we fought hard and never gave up.
00:47:01The charity meant so much to us.
00:47:03Almost there.
00:47:04Come on.
00:47:05Beautiful.
00:47:07Hold the lemons.
00:47:08Everything's fine.
00:47:11Yay!
00:47:15Gracias.
00:47:17We're fighters.
00:47:18Look, if we're going to go down, we're going to go down fighting.
00:47:21Who wants to be the leader of the pack?
00:47:23I'm the leader.
00:47:24Take a llama on its daily walk.
00:47:26Oh, well, there you go.
00:47:27I was going to beat horses yesterday.
00:47:28This better work out.
00:47:29All right, let's do it.
00:47:30Let's go.
00:47:34Good view.
00:47:35Beautiful view.
00:47:36I must admit, I haven't seen it.
00:47:37I've looked at just one step at a time in front of me.
00:47:40I can't tap out here.
00:47:41I thought about Oscar, you know?
00:47:42I've got to do it for him.
00:47:44Brought him halfway around the world, and, you know, we can't tap out now.
00:47:47Hello there.
00:47:48Keep calm, Toby.
00:47:49Yep.
00:47:50Doing well.
00:47:51Hola.
00:47:52How are you?
00:47:53Mate, nothing dropped out.
00:47:54It's all there.
00:47:55Oh, pa, pa, pa.
00:47:56Oh, pa, pa, pa.
00:47:57Oh, pa, pa, pa.
00:47:58Please.
00:47:59Please.
00:48:01Gracias.
00:48:04We've passed the walk like an Incan challenge,
00:48:07and I can safely say we'll both never walk like an Incan again.
00:48:10Never, ever walk like an Inca.
00:48:12Ever.
00:48:14Who will be leader of the pack?
00:48:15You better.
00:48:16OK.
00:48:17Take a llama on its daily walk.
00:48:18Oh, nice.
00:48:19You wanted to do that.
00:48:20Yeah.
00:48:24Good job, Chloe.
00:48:25Let's go.
00:48:26Come on.
00:48:29Come on.
00:48:31Come on.
00:48:39You want this?
00:48:40You want this?
00:48:41Yes.
00:48:42Go on, Chloe.
00:48:43Go on, Chloe.
00:48:44Come on.
00:48:45Let's go.
00:48:46Let's go.
00:48:47Let's go.
00:48:48Matilda's the team to beat.
00:48:49They're real competitors.
00:48:50You know, they're Olympians.
00:48:51Go on, Chloe.
00:48:52Come on.
00:48:53Get a stride.
00:48:54Let's go.
00:48:55Let's go.
00:48:56Let's go.
00:48:57He was stubborn.
00:48:58Bam Bam had no drama with that llama.
00:49:00You want this?
00:49:01I need to go there first.
00:49:03Oh.
00:49:04They are past us.
00:49:05Let's go.
00:49:06Let's go.
00:49:07Let's go.
00:49:11Come on.
00:49:12Come on.
00:49:13We're coming for you, Bam Bam.
00:49:14Let's go.
00:49:15Let's go.
00:49:16Let's go.
00:49:17Well done.
00:49:19Hey.
00:49:20Good boy.
00:49:21Gracias, amigo.
00:49:23You know what?
00:49:25Llama's like a furry giraffe.
00:49:28Find Bo at the pit stop.
00:49:30Hurry.
00:49:31The last team checking may be eliminated.
00:49:33Hilcara de Tiocara is one of the last towns of the Inca civilization in Argentina.
00:49:38Back in the day, this fortified hilltop settlement was abuzz with trade in gold and silver.
00:49:45Strategically chosen because of its commanding valley views,
00:49:51it's a place where you can see the enemy coming.
00:49:54It's a heritage listed site and it's where our teams will find the pit stop for the third leg of the Amazing Race Australia.
00:50:02Let's go.
00:50:06See?
00:50:07I keep my promise.
00:50:08Here.
00:50:09Take it.
00:50:10Take it.
00:50:11Good boy.
00:50:12Here you go.
00:50:13Yes!
00:50:14Thank you so much.

00:51:36A lot of people may have underestimated us.

00:53:11Okay.
00:53:12That's two.
00:53:13You've won now, two legs.
00:53:14So you are setting the benchmark, but you're also going to be a target.
00:53:17Think Logan and Bam Bam.
00:53:19Yeah.
00:53:20They're coming on our heels.
00:53:21My back.
00:53:22And they're our new underdogs.
00:53:23Yeah.
00:53:24Yeah.
00:53:25So we're looking out for them.
00:53:26Well done girls, because you checked in first, you'll get a luxury hotel upgrade again.
00:53:31It was a gruelling day.
00:53:32It was a tough day.
00:53:33I loved every single second of it.
00:53:35We're out in front, baby.
00:53:36Number one.
00:53:37What?
00:53:43Do you watch the UFC?
00:53:44You watch the UFC?
00:53:48Welcome to the Pucara de Tincara.
00:53:52Bam Bam and Logan,
00:53:53you're like the second team to check in.
00:53:58How do you feel about the altitude?
00:54:00It catches you.
00:54:01The altitude was playing with my attitude.
00:54:04The attitude was playing with my emotions.
00:54:09I'm seeing stars right now.
00:54:11Have a rest, Nick.
00:54:12Jordan, second place.
00:54:13Wonderful effort, boys. Bring it in.
00:54:16I'll be honest with you, I'm having a bleeping blast.
00:54:19Bro, this has probably been the best experience I've ever had.
00:54:28How do you think I reacted at Spitz, homie?
00:54:30There's a little part of me that hopes it does.
00:54:33I won't lie.
00:54:34So, we're coming into a nice little valley here, Pete.
00:54:36See the one up ahead?
00:54:40Good job, Lama.
00:54:41Simon wants his bread now.
00:54:43He can see the finish line.
00:54:48I'm going to go misky. Misky is risky.
00:54:51At this point, I'm thinking, I'm sore.
00:54:54I'm tired.
00:54:56Lama Pete, please, just be good for me.
00:55:00You're a stubborn bitch.
00:55:01Go, bro, jump in, go!
00:55:05Of course this is going to happen. We get the one broken Lama.
00:55:08You have that Lama on the loose.
00:55:10This is not good.
00:55:12A Lama can spit, so be careful.
00:55:15Yeah.
00:55:17And if they do spit on you, we'll disinfect it later.
00:55:19Just don't worry.
00:55:21I've had zero experience with Lamas, but I do love them.
00:55:24They're so funny looking.
00:55:25Do I touch it?
00:55:27You need to be at one with the Lama.
00:55:29OK. And be calm.
00:55:30I'm going to start again.
00:55:31I know, I know, you want to go with your friends.
00:55:34And that was the game plan, to kind of connect with the Lama.
00:55:38And now, now we're going to try and walk you.
00:55:41Come on.
00:55:43There we go. Now we're riding.
00:55:45Come on, Jett, you got this.
00:55:48Good job, Lama.
00:55:50To be fair to Simon, once he started...
00:55:53There was no stopping him.
00:55:55Hola, how are you going?
00:55:57I brought Simon.
00:55:59Gracias.
00:56:01Gracias, thank you so much.
00:56:03Boom. Hey.
00:56:04Boom, two roadblocks in a row.
00:56:06Nevada's making good time.
00:56:07Does it look pretty?
00:56:09Beautiful.
00:56:10Very Instagrammable.
00:56:11I wish I had my phone so I could take a photo.
00:56:14I think he's really loving this walk.
00:56:17He saw his friend's head up here, so he wants to follow his friend.
00:56:20So I think that's a benefit of having someone in front of you
00:56:24when you're dealing with a Lama.
00:56:27Yay!
00:56:30Thank you so much.
00:56:32Whoa!
00:56:33He's very excited to be back with his friends.
00:56:36OK.
00:56:37Fine.
00:56:38Good stop. Yes!
00:56:39Hurry, the last team to check in may be a limo.
00:56:40Oh, let's go.
00:56:42OK, let's go quick.
00:56:43You need to walk fast.
00:56:44I feel we did get some good energy today.
00:56:47I really believe that you create the energy around you.
00:56:51And if you have good energy, that it'll come back to you.
00:56:55Do not let us get lost, because this is it.
00:56:58Good?
00:56:59On our way.
00:57:00Go.
00:57:01Here we come.
00:57:03I've never actually met a Lama that I've liked.
00:57:05Every Lama I've seen on the internet is rude,
00:57:07spitting on people, sneezing on people.
00:57:09Lamas suck.
00:57:10Vamos.
00:57:11Vamos.
00:57:12Hello, Bridge.
00:57:15Hello, Lama.
00:57:16Let's find a Lama.
00:57:17Yay!
00:57:18OK.
00:57:19You've got this, honey.
00:57:20Come on.
00:57:21I've just got to pick a nice Lama and get this done.
00:57:24We've got to get it around here.
00:57:26Could I drop another one?
00:57:28Yeah, we're used to farming music.
00:57:31Not animals.
00:57:33Wow, Thorpeian Christian?
00:57:35Really?
00:57:36We're in front of them?
00:57:38OK.
00:57:39I don't think I'll be changing careers anytime soon
00:57:43to become a Lama farmer.
00:57:44Ah, don't farm a zombie.
00:57:46Vamos.
00:57:47Vamos.
00:57:48Vamos.
00:57:56I'd really like to tell him what to do.
00:57:58It's killing me.
00:58:02I think someone else has just gotten here.
00:58:04Going into the cellar, we saw Thorpeian Christian.
00:58:13And then also there was Billy and Oscar.
00:58:16Tatine, let's go, Tatine.
00:58:18As long as we don't come last, I'll be happy.
00:58:21Oh, my God.
00:58:26Sorrel, don't be scared of it.
00:58:28They look aggressive, but he won't hurt you.
00:58:30I shouldn't have done this.
00:58:32Sorrel, it's not going to hurt you.
00:58:35Yeah, the Lama didn't have any tolerance for Sorrel.
00:58:39Is he going to bite me?
00:58:40I don't want to get bitten.
00:58:43This is so frustrating.
00:58:44I'll get him in two seconds.
00:58:45No fear, Sorrel.
00:58:46No fear.
00:58:52Seriously, can this day get any worse?
00:58:57We've got to run away, Lama.
00:58:59We're done.
00:59:00We're done.
00:59:01Sorrel, get up there and get that buck-toothed Lama.
00:59:09Is that a gift for me?
00:59:11And banana.
00:59:12And banana, how good.
00:59:14What is it?
00:59:15And banana, what's in it?
00:59:16Meat.
00:59:17Meat?
00:59:18Yeah.
00:59:19Are you going to have one?
00:59:20Yeah.
00:59:21They're poisoning me.
00:59:22I want my job.
00:59:23I want my job.
00:59:24That's it.
00:59:27That's La Casa Puente.
00:59:28Can we park in there?
00:59:29Yeah.
00:59:30Yeah.
00:59:31Today's been so much fun.
00:59:32Yeah.

00:59:50Yeah.
00:59:51It's across the bridge.
00:59:52Quick!
00:59:57Yeah, is it across the bridge?
00:59:59We're going to get them.

01:00:55I thought I was going to avoid a hike.
01:00:57Can I ride you?
01:00:59Because I'm really tired.
01:01:02Bridget digs deep,
01:01:03as she always does,
01:01:04and she gets the llama
01:01:05to where that llama

01:01:25It's quite the day.
01:01:26Just a man and his llama.
01:01:28You know what?
01:01:29I think the connection
01:01:30me and the llama have had
01:01:31was one of those spark moments.
01:01:33And it may be
01:01:34because the llama knew
01:01:35we're here for rural aid.
01:01:38Yes!
01:01:39Hello!
01:01:40Beautiful llama.

01:02:14I think it's our alarm clock.
01:02:16Oh, that bloody alarm clock.
01:02:17We've got to get rid of this alarm.
01:02:18Slow on the gravel,
01:02:19don't lose control.
01:02:20It's driving me nuts.

01:02:52I'm, like,
01:02:53nearly bent over
01:02:54in a tug-of-war
01:02:55with this stubborn llama.
01:02:57Come on.
01:02:58Come on.
01:03:00Change another one.

01:03:23What's the difference
01:03:24between,
01:03:25what are these called?
01:03:26Llamas?
01:03:27There's llamas and alpacas.
01:03:28Yeah, what's the difference?
01:03:29I'm going with a hump,
01:03:30maybe.
01:03:31There might be camels.
01:03:33Good work,
01:03:34Pongo.
01:03:35I knew you had it in you.
01:03:37I can't.

01:03:40There's another llama there.
01:03:41He looks more friendlier.
01:03:43He's got a nice tan.
