00:00Authorities now have an actual list of members of the so-called Angels of Death

00:05who have allegedly been used by Kingdom of Jesus Christ or KOJC leader Apolo Kibuloy

00:11to make sure the supposed victims of sexual abuse remain silent out of fear for their lives

00:17should they speak about their grave ordeal.

00:20Patrick de Jesus has more.

00:24The Philippine National Police has confirmed it's not just a figure of speech

00:29but real people who comprise the Angels of Death

00:33and who used to threaten victims allegedly molested and sexually abused by KOJC leader Apolo Kibuloy.

00:40The Davao Regional Police Office also has information on the members of the Angels of Death who might be armed

00:48so the PNP has coordinated with the Firearms and Explosives Office

00:53to revoke the licenses and registration of their firearms.

00:57Private Army in the sense that they are taking orders from Apolo Kibuloy definitely

01:02because they are the ones who are being used to threaten these kids.

01:06It's included in our background check if the initial names listed by General Torre have previous records

01:14as well as the check if there are any guns named under their names.

01:18Kibuloy's lawyers have repeatedly denied of a private army under Kibuloy's command

01:25apart from the new complainants, two more victims came to the PNP claiming they were abused by Kibuloy

01:32when they were still minors.

01:34Like other victims, they were also threatened by the Angels of Death

01:39who vowed to hunt them down if they spoke about their experiences to the authorities.

01:44It's a big thing that Apolo Kibuloy is now in jail because that's what gave them the strength to come to the PNP

01:52because they thought that nothing would happen.

01:57There are allegedly more victims inside the KOJC compound.

02:01The police is considering carrying out a rescue operation.

02:06The PNP is also preparing to file obstruction of justice charges against those who aided Kibuloy in hiding and eluding arrest

02:14with a special investigation team being formed.

02:17The names of these individuals have not been made public yet.

02:36We will be making it public as soon as we file this case.

02:44Meanwhile, Kibuloy's medical assessment regarding his motion for hospital arrest has been completed and to be submitted to the court.

02:53Kibuloy remains in the PNP custodial center after pleading not guilty to charges of qualified human trafficking and child and sexual abuse.

03:03Last Friday, four of his co-accused were transferred to Pasig City Jail following a commitment order issued by the Pasig Regional Trial Court.
