00:00The Philippine National Police will conduct a full review of the investigation into the
00:05arrest of retired general and former PCSO board secretary Wesley Barayuga.
00:11This includes the internal process of how Barayuga was included in the drug watch list
00:16after the robbery in Mandaluyong City last July 2020.
00:21According to the PNP chief, General Romel Marvil, a thorough investigation is needed
00:27to determine how or what was the process of Barayuga's name being included in the drug personality list.
00:36Marvil also insisted that the inclusion of a personality in any crime-related list
00:42should have a solid basis or evidence that it will undergo a meticulous validation process
00:48in order to maintain the integrity of the PNP.
00:51Marvil also encouraged anyone who has information
00:55to inform the PNP about Barayuga so that the investigation can proceed more quickly.
01:01The Barayuga murder case will be recorded in the Quad Committee Healing in Camara
01:05after an active police force was sent to kill the former PCSO official.
