00:07The CPC Corporation, Taiwan's state-run oil refiner, had called in a contractor to
00:12repair a minor leak earlier in the week.
00:14However, officials say the contractor accidentally further damaged the line and it began leaking
00:20oil into a nearby stream.
00:22Jilong environment officials have given CPC seven days to clean up the spill and may find
00:27the company up to 100,000 U.S. dollars.
