00:00The Department of Agriculture is now fully prepared for the expected effects of the floods and typhoons in the country.
00:07The agency confirmed that 2 million sacks of rice are ready to be deployed to the affected areas.

00:18By the end of 2028, very much achievable 29 to 32 cases per day.
00:25The Department of Agriculture believes that rice can be reduced from 29 to 32 pesos per kilo.
00:34To do this, the Department of Agriculture will distribute free rice that can provide high yields.
00:41The same goes for the irrigation of rice fields or in the rain to avoid flooding the crops.
00:51The agency is also targeting the construction of roads for agricultural products
00:56to reduce the logistic cost of the rice being used for irrigation.

01:08The DA is preparing for the effects of the floods and typhoons.
01:12Some of the areas that are expected to be hit by the typhoons are Cordillera, Ilocos, Cagayan, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon.
01:21The DA's help is already prepared in the affected areas to mitigate the possible negative effects of this on the production of food.
01:30At the moment, we're expecting because of La Nina that there will be one or two more giant storms there.
01:37We have prepared advanced preparation for seeds.
01:40In case we really get hit again, we really have to replant as fast as possible.
