00:14Because of the severe effects of the next typhoon in Apayao,

00:18the entire province has been included in the State of Calamity.

00:23According to the Apayao PDRRMO,

00:26more than P19 million were damaged in the agriculture sector

00:31and more than P65 million in the lifeline utilities.

00:35More than P11 million were damaged in the educational,

00:39health and social welfare facilities in the province.

00:43P66 million were totally damaged

00:45and more than P5,000 were partially damaged.

00:49From the P90 million Calamity Fund of Apayao PLGU,

00:5470% were used.

00:57According to the Governor of Laloigan,

00:59the State of Calamity needs a declaration

01:02for a quick rehabilitation of the effects of the typhoon.

01:06We need to use the Quick Response Fund

01:10considering the damage to the roads, provincial roads, houses.

01:16Our initial funding for the Calamity Fund was exhausted.

01:22The Department of Trade and Industry will monitor

01:25the price freeze of the businesses.

01:28Retailers who may face high prices were warned.

01:34The State of Calamity is now effective.

01:38If an area is declared a State of Calamity,
