00:00I think the charm of it comes from its round shapes and endearing looks.
00:18Think about a little bean-shaped robot that has a giant head that looks like a 60s TV.
00:24The design of Astro is slightly baby-like, a little bit clumsy, and the animation of course plays a massive part into that.
00:33Depending on the situation, the animation of Astro has a lot of variation, so I feel the same way when I'm playing it.
00:41I feel happy, and I'm happy when I'm happy.
00:43Astro is a machine, but it has a heart.
00:48It's a friend, and it's brave. It's like a guide in the world of toys.
00:58It can touch anything, it can break anything, it can do anything.
01:02It leads the player and explores a lot.
01:09Another big part of the game being charming is what you hear.
01:15The music has to be there so that you actually want to run around and jump, jump, jump,
01:20because the music is actually inviting you to do that.
01:24Even if you listen to it over and over again, it doesn't make you feel bad at all.
01:29I think that's really important when making game music.
01:36What do you hope for the people who play this game?
01:38For me, it will be engaged on two levels.
01:41One that is just smiles and joy as a child,
01:44and as a parent potentially having the chance to rekindle that fire of your youth.
01:49You basically just grin all the way playing this game.
