00:00Zero casualty in Infanta Quezon despite the storm's impact.
00:05Fishes are slowly disappearing in the area.
00:08Bernard Ferrero with the report.
00:13I have reached the point where some fishermen in Infanta Quezon are already fishing.
00:19They might catch a fish,
00:21now that Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 has left their town.
00:26They will stay in Pampang until the fishermen are allowed to fish in the middle of the sea
00:31due to the Gale Warning.
00:33John Kim's story is that they need to go to the market
00:36especially since some of them have families.
00:39Because of their regular fishing,
00:40they are often caught in the middle of the Tambacol and Galunggong Burao.
00:45There are two coolers,
00:47up to five coolers.
00:50How much do you sell?
00:53We sell about 15,000 coolers.
00:57The lowest price is Php 10,000.
00:59Meanwhile, the Infanta Local Government Unit in Baguio, Hiner was prepared early
01:04especially since they are located near the coastal area.
01:06They are also spending their school fees
01:08up to Grade 12 and Alternative Learning System
01:11in public and private schools.
01:13They are also preparing rescue equipment,
01:16relief goods, and community kitchens if needed.
01:19Our entire town was assured that everyone in the response cluster,
01:23especially uniformed personnel, is ready
01:26and can respond to any emergency or any disaster.
01:32The Municipal Engineering Office and MDRMMO also inspected the flood control dike.
01:38We saw some issues, rooms for improvement,
01:43like some cracks in our dike
01:45and the riverbed that is supposed to be next to our footing,
01:57our metal sheet pile,
01:59the protection of the riverbed.
02:01They will bring to the DPWH Regional Office 4A
02:04and DPWH Quezon 1st District Engineering Office
02:07the results of the inspection to give further action.
02:11Dredging projects are also underway in the Pantilan River, especially in Sapangan.
02:15Good news, because a zero-casualty incident was reported in Baguio-Hiner.
02:19They also did not carry out evacuations to their residents.
02:23Bernard Ferrer for Pambansang TV in Bagong, Philippines.
