00:00Okay, Bob. Follow me.
00:02Larry, I can't see you.
00:04How am I supposed to follow you?
00:06Just move this way.
00:08Okay. You ready for this?
00:10You've got me really curious, Larry.
00:12What are you up to?
00:14You'll see.
00:16Well?
00:18It's a curtain.
00:20Bob, it's not just any curtain.
00:22It's an Extreme Redo Crying Edition curtain.
00:24So?
00:26While you were on vacation last week,
00:28the crew from Extreme Redo Crying Edition
00:30came in and redid the kitchen.
00:32We've had a total kitchen makeover.
00:38How you feeling right now, man?
00:40I feel good.
00:42You hear that?
00:44He feels good.
00:46Aww!
00:48Well, my friend,
00:50get ready to feel great.
00:52Pull that curtain!
00:54Pull that curtain!
00:58You guys are amazing.
01:00Light blue walls, a throw pillow.
01:02The place has been completely transformed.
01:06It looks the same to me.
01:08Oh, yeah. Go ahead.
01:10Let it all out.
01:12What? Where's Qwerty?
01:14Hi, Qwerty.
01:16Greetings, Larry.
01:18Qwerty? Is that you?
01:20Oh, yeah. Extreme Redo.
01:22Qwerty's needed an upgrade for 10 years.
01:24Looking good, buddy.
01:26I feel like a million bits.
01:28Ha-ha. Get it? Bits.
01:30Good one.
01:32Hey, yeah. We've upgraded his humor chip.
01:34LOL.
01:38I've got mail.
01:40You've never had mail before, buddy.
01:42And now you do.
01:44How's that feel?
01:46I feel like a million bits.
01:48Aww. That is so sweet.
01:52Dear Bob and Mary,
01:54my mom and dad are always telling me
01:56stuff I don't want to do,
01:58like making my bed, doing my homework,
02:00practicing piano, that kind of stuff.
02:02All I want to do is play.
02:04What should I do?
02:06Your friend, William Young.
02:08Wow. That's pretty cool.
02:10We are hip, happening, and now
02:12thanks to Extreme Redo.
02:14I don't know what to say.
02:16You don't have to say anything.
02:18You can just cry if you want.
02:20You want to cry?
02:22Uh-huh.
02:26Come on. Let it go.
02:28Let the tomato flow.
02:30Here you go, Liam.
02:32Roll film.
02:38Once upon a time
02:40in the small Italian town
02:42of Bologna Salami.
02:44Hey, buongiorno.
02:46What do you do?
02:48There lived a lonely toy maker
02:50named Gelato.
02:54Just because I talk to toys doesn't make me lonely.
02:56Besides, I've got ducks.
02:58And his assistant, Cricket.
03:00I am not a cricket.
03:02His assistant named Cricket.
03:04I am a caterpillar.
03:06Well, that is only half true.
03:08Kind and honest Gelato
03:10was never married, so he had no
03:12children he could call his own.
03:14I call this one.
03:16Oh.
03:18His three beloved brothers were mysteriously
03:20lost at sea while delivering
03:22meatballs to the small island
03:24of Boyardee.
03:28So Gelato poured all of his
03:30loneliness and love into the
03:32toys he carved for the joy
03:34of others.
03:36One of the toys, a wooden duck,
03:38was so realistic a family
03:40of motherless ducklings followed
03:42it home.
03:44Gelato loved the ducks like they
03:46were his own children.
03:48Oh, how he loved to teach them.
03:50And oh, how they loved to listen.
03:52He taught them about right
03:54and wrong, responsibility,
03:56honesty, and monopoly.
03:58Greg is fascinated with
04:00real estate.
04:02Cricket was glad Gelato was happier
04:04even though ducks made him nervous.
04:06They eat caterpillars.
04:08Well, good thing you're a cricket.
04:10I have got to change
04:12my name.
04:14And so the ducklings listened closely
04:16as Gelato taught them everything
04:18they needed to know.
04:20Look at little Liliana
04:22as her mother shows her how to gather
04:24breakfast from a chicken or make
04:26milkshakes from a cow. Even Stephen
04:28struggling papa taught him when to
04:30take a bow. Nothing's missing
04:32cause they listened when their parents taught
04:34them how. A mother and a
04:36father know the ways to live life
04:38right. So listen little
04:40children and your days will turn
04:42up right. Now
04:44you.
04:48Wonderful. Now harmonize.
04:54Beautiful. Now piglet.
05:00Perfect.
05:02Now barbershop.
05:10Quack.
05:14So take these little lessons that
05:16I offer me to you. They go
05:18through your ears and in your heart to teach you
05:20what is true. A father loves his
05:22little ones. He'll teach them what is right.
05:24And if you listen closely then
05:26your days will turn up right.
05:28Listen
05:30little ducklings
05:32and your life will
05:34turn out right.
05:36Psst. Gelato.
05:38Parcheesi. How's the woodworking
05:40business? Oh I love
05:42the smell. Hate the splinters.
05:44You can say that again. Hate the
05:46splinters. Say you wouldn't
05:48need a nice piece of wood would
05:50ya? Wood? Would I?
05:52But I can't so I won't.
05:54I've only got five pennies right now.
05:56We don't spend money we don't have.
05:58Right ducklings?
06:00Oh it's your lucky day
06:02Gelato.
06:04This very special
06:06piece is yours.
06:08Absolutely free. Huh?
06:10Nothing's free Parcheesi.
06:12True except this piece of wood.
06:14Wow.
06:18Oh dear.
06:20Must be Mexican jumping wood.
06:22It's pistachio
06:24wood from a pistachio
06:26tree. Very special.
06:30Well at least you could let me pay you a little
06:32something Parcheesi. Parcheesi?
06:34No need to pay. It's all yours.
06:40Something
06:42smells fishy.
06:44No it smells like
06:46pistachios. Hooray a bonus
06:48piece of wood for a bonus toy.
06:50Come little ducklings. Daddy's
06:52going to carve you a brother.
06:54This has bad idea written
06:56all over it. Really?
06:58Must be tiny writing.
07:02Goodnight
07:04little ones. Bruce
07:06let's hope that beak guard helps your snoring.
07:08Gary it's not polite
07:10to eat worms in bed.
07:12Goodnight Greg.
07:14Sweet dreams
07:16little ones. Prepare yourself
07:18for a long night Cricket.
07:26All throughout the night
07:28Gelato poured his love into this
07:30new and very special
07:32wood carving.
08:00Oh
08:02it just
08:04winked at me.
08:06Whoa
08:08Hey
08:10come back
08:16Silly toy why don't you just stay still.
08:18You're not the boss of me.
08:20I don't have to listen to anybody.
08:22I can do whatever I want
08:24whenever I want.
08:26You're not like the other toys are you?
08:28Never heard of toys.
08:30I will call you Pistachio
08:32after the wood from which you were made.
08:34Nobody made me.
08:36I'm out of here.
08:38Well hold your horses Pistachio.
08:40You're a part of the family now.
08:42I'm your father Gelato.
08:44Never heard of a father.
08:46Why? A father is the one who will teach you how to live.
08:48How to be happy.
08:50I don't need any lessons. I can find happiness
08:52without anybody's help.
08:54Oh Pistachio you need to listen to those
08:56who love you the most. Your parents.
08:58Why should I listen to my parents?
09:00I want what's best for me.
09:02Because you are too young to know
09:04what is best for you Pistachio.
09:06Trust me I was a boy once too.
09:08Tomorrow we'll take a field trip
09:10for your first lesson in life.
09:12But for now we must sleep.
09:14Well okay.
09:16I guess we can try it your way
09:18for now. That's my log.
09:20Uh boy. Goodnight Cricket.
09:22I am a caterpillar.
09:24Goodnight Pistachio.
09:26You will see.
09:28Gelato is a good father.
09:30He has learned great things from his own father.
09:32And you will learn those things
09:34from him.
09:36If you will listen.
09:38Well if I don't I'm not hanging around
09:40a bunch of ducks.
09:42A team. What?
09:44It's not a bunch of ducks. It is a team of ducks.
09:46Like a gaggle of geese
09:48or a herd of cattle.
09:50Never heard of cattle.
09:52I got a bad feeling about this.
10:00So Gelato took his ducklings
10:02and Pistachio to the art museum
10:04where he would use the paintings
10:06to teach a very important lesson.
10:10Just pictures?
10:12Boring.
10:14You'll see Pistachio. There's nothing like art
10:16to help you find your way.
10:18Hey Art!
10:20Gelato!
10:22Which way to the sheep paintings?
10:24Down and to the left. Past the prodigal.
10:26Thanks Art.
10:28Gary!
10:30You should have gone before we left home.
10:42Now here's what I really wanted
10:44to show you.
10:46Sheep!
10:48It's a flock of sheep.
10:50You're thinking of cattle.
10:52It was the shepherd's job to take care of
10:54100 sheep.
10:56One sheep ran away and got lost.
10:58Even though there were still 99 more
11:00the shepherd left the 99
11:02to go off into a storm
11:04in search of that one lost sheep.
11:06Why would he do that?
11:08Well because he was a good shepherd
11:10and he loved all the sheep.
11:12He didn't want to lose a single one.
11:14Why did the little sheep run away?
11:16Nobody knows.
11:18Maybe a wolf dressed like a sheep talked him into it.
11:20Maybe he thought he could find something more fun
11:22than following his shepherd.
11:24Maybe he thought he knew best.
11:26By the time the shepherd found him
11:28he was cold and miserable.
11:30He knew he should have listened to the shepherd.
11:32Some children act the same way.
11:34They foolishly think they know best.
11:36That they don't need to listen to their parents.
11:38Not me. I'm no fool.
11:40No sorry.
11:42Nicely put Cricket. You should sit on my mallet
11:44and read all of my stories.
11:46Moralizing runs very deep in my family.
11:54I do love this painting.
12:04Say.
12:06Say what?
12:08I'll bet this painting you love so much
12:10is in one of those art books
12:12I'd be happy to go buy it for you.
12:14Can I have five cents? Huh? Can I?
12:16Wow.
12:18That's great that you've taken an interest in art so soon.
12:20But five cents is all the money I have.
12:22But it's filled with artwork
12:24that we could take home.
12:26I thought you wanted your children to learn.
12:28I want to learn
12:30all I can.
12:34Hey. Don't look at me.
12:36I cannot even lift a penny.
12:38So Gelato gave Pistachio
12:40his five pennies to buy the book
12:42but made him promise to go straight there
12:44and then come right back.
12:46Oh. I promise.
12:48The moment he lied
12:50something strange happened to Pistachio's nose.
12:52But we'll get to that later.
12:54Hmm.
12:56Growing boy.
12:58Okay. Now.
13:00Who can tell me the population of Luxembourg?
13:02Oh.
13:04Close Greg.
13:06But you forgot the suburbs.
13:20Come young.
13:22Come all to my puppets down the hall
13:24to the fun that you're not
13:26supposed to have.
13:28I'll do some impressions
13:30but there won't be boring lessons
13:32like the ones that you get
13:34from your dad.
13:38As silly as it tickles
13:40soddy tickets cost a nickel
13:42a small price to pay
13:44to be glad.
13:46So come see my talents.
13:50Abandon your parents.
13:54It's fun and it's no strings attached.
14:00No strings.
14:02Amazing.
14:04A puppet with no strings.
14:06If you were in the show
14:08I'd be rich.
14:10Picture people paying golden coins
14:12to watch this little boy
14:14as he sings for them and dances
14:16as the world's the stringless toy.
14:18It's so genius just between us
14:20everyone will cry encore.
14:22Encore.
14:24Boy it's no time to be modest
14:26for the world will soon applaud us.
14:28Look at what you brought us.
14:30Encore.
14:42Get away from me.
14:50Those are the biggest pennies
14:52I've ever seen.
14:54Wait. Get back here puppet.
14:56You're coming with us.
14:58Get him Alfredo.
15:12Oh I wonder who these belong to.
15:14What seems to be the problem
15:16little log.
15:18I'm not a log. I'm a toy.
15:20Could have fooled me.
15:22I am Confetti the fox.
15:24And I am Purina the cat.
15:26You don't look like a cat.
15:30Why so glum chum?
15:32Oh I probably
15:34shouldn't say.
15:36You already started saying.
15:38All you have to do is finish.
15:40What are you hiding behind your back?
15:42Um my father Gelato
15:44was teaching me a lesson
15:46and gave me five pennies to buy
15:48a book but instead of a book
15:50I bought a ticket to a puppet show
15:52where this scary guy was singing
15:54Weird.
15:56And we fell into some codes where I found these.
16:00And I don't know who they are.
16:02Why they're yours of course.
16:04Huh?
16:06Finders keepers.
16:08This lesson teaching father of yours will be so proud
16:10that you have turned five pennies
16:12into five golden coins.
16:14But I didn't.
16:16Hush child you're ruining the moment.
16:18Okay everybody bundle up.
16:20They've got feathers.
16:22Oh that's a yes.
16:24Where'd Pistachio run off to?
16:26Are you coming Pistachio?
16:28Coming father.
16:30Alright then let's head out.
16:34It takes a clever boy to turn pennies
16:36into gold coins.
16:38Clever enough for our opportunity.
16:40Opportunity?
16:42What would you say if I told you
16:44there was a way to turn your five golden coins
16:46into hundreds?
16:48Well I was really
16:50supposed to buy a book with this
16:52so me and the ducks could learn more about art.
16:54Oh ducks know everything there is to know about art.
16:56That's a fact.
16:58Indeed.
17:00And what's the purpose of an education
17:02other than to teach you how to go out into the world
17:04and make money?
17:06And here's your opportunity.
17:08The Waterfront Carnival.
17:12It'll be such fun.
17:14And won't your father be impressed
17:16when you show him you are such a clever boy.
17:18Alright.
17:20Let's do it.
17:24Wow this is way better than art.
17:26And here we are.
17:28One gold coin to play.
17:30Calling all clever children.
17:32Win, win, win.
17:34At the wheel of moolah.
17:36What's moolah?
17:38More money than you could possibly count.
17:40I don't know how to count.
17:42Ah see how honest I am.
17:44How does it work?
17:46Simple.
17:48You give me a gold coin and spin the wheel.
17:50Whenever it stops you multiply your money
17:52that many times.
17:54Wow so the worst that could happen is
17:56I get my gold coin back.
18:00That's not really your thing is it?
18:04Spin away.
18:06Come on Big Ten.
18:12Zero.
18:14That almost never happens.
18:16You lose.
18:18Looks like this one's mine.
18:20Lose? That wasn't supposed to happen.
18:22I'm sure you'll win it back in the next game.
18:24Really?
18:26Of course.
18:28Why would we steer you wrong?
18:30Filtrips always make me hungry.
18:32Who wants a corn dog?
18:34One, two, three.
18:36Uh oh. Gelato?
18:38One of my ducklings is missing.
18:40You mean pistachio.
18:42Pistachio?
18:44What happened to pistachio?
18:46I have no idea.
18:48But it is not that bad.
18:50You still have got three other ducklings.
18:52Caterpillar.
18:54Remember the painting of the lost sheep?
18:56Like any good shepherd I love all my children the same.
18:58That means you.
19:00And pistachio too.
19:02I won't rest until we're all home.
19:04No matter what.
19:06Better make that corn dog.
19:08To go.
19:12And now it's time for
19:14Obscure Broadway Show Tunes with Larry.
19:16The part of the show where Larry comes out and sings
19:18an obscure Broadway show tune.
19:20Without further ado,
19:22from the unknown musical
19:24Office Supplies,
19:26the heart-rending love song
19:28Where Have All the Staplers Gone?
19:30Where Have All the Staplers Gone?
19:32Where Have All the Staplers Gone?
19:34Where Have All the Staplers Gone?
19:40We don't have much time
19:42Before the big meeting.
19:44No. No we don't.
19:46Have you seen
19:48The scissors miss?
19:50They're in the
19:52Bottom draw.
19:54I tried
19:56that drawer but they're there
19:58no more. That's odd.
20:00I know I thought for
20:02Have you seen the masking tape?
20:06It's right next to the phone.
20:10That's what I thought, but now it's not.
20:14I guess I should have known.
20:18Oh, where have all the staplers gone?
20:24What happened to our paperclip?
20:30The ballpoint pens are gone again.
20:34The stick-it pads have lost their stick.
20:42Do you remember when the rubber bands were in their place?
20:50They're in the middle drawer.
20:54Light bulbs, easy to replace.
20:58Yes, there were always more.
21:01Read the paper raining down.
21:05Legal pads aplenty.
21:09Highlighters in every hue.
21:12I remember.
21:13Never less than twenty.
21:16Oh, where have all the staplers gone?
21:22What happened to our paperclip?
21:27The ballpoint pens are gone again.
21:32We've run out of packing slips.
21:36Someday my prince will come.
21:38Please replace the toner.
21:41Someday we'll find more of
21:43our vanilla folders.
21:45Someday my prince will come.
21:47Where's the printer cable?
21:49Someday we'll find more of
21:51adhesive shipping labels.
21:57Oh, where have all the staplers gone?
22:02What happened to our paperclip?
22:07The ballpoint pens are gone again.
22:12The Sharpies all have flattened tips.
22:21Where have all the staplers gone?
22:32This has been Obscured Broadway show tunes with Len.
22:36Tune in for act two, Revenge of the Staplers.
22:43So Gelato went off in search of his little lost duckling.
22:47Um, wooden boy.
22:49While something entirely less noble
22:51was going on at the carnival.
22:57You lose again.
22:59Two in a row.
23:00Again?
23:01I give up.
23:03I think it's probably best to just go home.
23:06Wait!
23:07You still have two in a row.
23:10Wait!
23:11You still have three gold coins.
23:20You're on your own.
23:24You can't give up.
23:27There's three more coins.
23:30There's better luck.
23:34You return to your father empty-handed.
23:40You'll only disappoint and then be reprimanded.
23:47You must show.
23:51Show.
23:52Show.
23:53Show.
23:54Show.
23:55Show.
23:56Show.

24:03You'll play rough.
24:04You're more tough.
24:05You'll win big.
24:06Really, really big.
24:07You'll play rough.
24:08Rough, rough, rough, rough.
24:09You don't need.
24:10You don't need.
24:11Your father's love.
24:12No need to listen to your dad.
24:15You know enough.
24:19You've got gold.
24:21Minus one.
24:23You'll get laid.
24:25You'll have fun.
24:27Oops, not again.
24:30Ain't that rough.
24:32No need to listen to your dad.
24:34You know enough.
24:40He's on his own.
24:42I can't give up.
24:44Have you seen him or am I out of luck?
24:48He needs a dad to help him make it through.
24:52And since that's who I am, that's what I'm gonna do.
24:57Yup, it's true.
24:59A bookseller told Gelato that she had seen a strange wooden boy headed for the waterfront.
25:05This troubled Gelato, who was afraid Pistachio might fall into the sea and float off like driftwood.
25:11He thanked the woman and was off.
25:17You're not broke.
25:18You're not broke.
25:19You're just close.
25:20You're just close.
25:21You haven't spent all of your gold.
25:23Just almost.
25:25But even if you run out of your stuff.
25:29No need to listen to your dad.
25:31You know enough.
25:34You lose again.
25:36Ha, this is my lucky night.
25:38Oh no, I can't go home to Gelato with nothing.
25:41Good thing there's one game where you can win riches beyond your wildest dreams.
25:48But we only have one gold coin left.
25:51That's all it takes, Pistachio.
25:54One gold coin.
25:59But that's everything.
26:08You're in danger all alone.
26:10Almost sunk.
26:11I won't give up.
26:12You've got a golden coin.
26:14But need a little luck.
26:15Oh dear, where are you?
26:16Cut a rope.
26:17I'll spray the sea.
26:18Now it is rough.
26:19Back to me.
26:20No need to listen to your dad.
26:22You know enough.
26:26No need to listen to your dad.
26:28You know enough.
26:31Pistachio, you and you alone are not enough.
26:44Rainbow of fortune.
26:46That's kind of scary.
26:48Being on your own can be quite scary.
26:51But isn't that what you wanted?
26:53I thought it was.
26:55Oh well, Gelato's probably already forgotten about you.
26:59I bet he's got other kids that listen.
27:04How do you play?
27:06Simple, really.
27:07You sit in this car and advance up the ramp every time you answer a question correctly.
27:13The higher up you go, the more you win.
27:15You can stop whenever you want and walk away with the money.
27:18Bye.
27:19If you choose to answer a question and get it wrong, well, you lose everything.
27:27Alright.
27:35For ten gold coins, here is question number one.
27:39In the story of the lost sheep, how many sheep ran away?
27:44Hey, I know this.
27:46I know this.
27:47Just one.
27:48What?
27:50That is correct.
27:52You win ten gold coins.
27:55But if you continue to the next question, you could win a hundred gold coins.
28:01A hundred gold coins?
28:03Of course, you risk losing the ten.
28:06Do you want question two?
28:08Question two! Question two!
28:10Alrighty then.
28:13For a hundred gold coins, here is question number two.
28:17In the story of the lost sheep, why did the shepherd leave the ninety-nine
28:22to go off and search for the one lost sheep?
28:25I can't believe it.
28:27I know this one, too.
28:29Because he was a good shepherd and he loved all his sheep.
28:33Hmm?
28:34Correct.
28:35You've just won a hundred gold coins.
28:39A hundred gold coins.
28:41Of course, question three is worth a thousand.
28:46A thousand?
28:48Yes, yes, question three.
28:52Where did we get these questions?
28:54He knows them.
28:55Yes, I know them because Gelato...
28:57Who?
28:58My father!
29:00Pistachio!
29:03Gelato?
29:05Pistachio!
29:08It's Gelato. He's looking for me.
29:11He didn't forget about me after all.
29:13I'm coming, Father!
29:24Right after I win the gold and make him proud of me.
29:28Should we take naps and come back when you're ready?
29:31I'm ready now. Fire away!
29:34We will.
29:37For a thousand gold coins, here is question number three.
29:42How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
29:46Huh? I don't know that.
29:49Nobody knows that.
29:51Then you shouldn't have risked everything.
29:59But you said you wouldn't steer me wrong.
30:03No, we said why would we steer you wrong?
30:06And the answer is five gold coins.
30:19High fives!
30:21No hands, numbskull.
30:26Gelato! Gelato! I'm here!
30:29It's Pistachio!
30:31Pistachio!
30:34Pistachio? Oh, Pistachio, I knew I'd find you.
30:39I can't hear you. Not a closer!
30:45Gelato?
30:48Dad!
30:56Oh, no!
31:02Gelato?
31:04Oh, no!
31:08He's gone!
31:10It's my fault!
31:12What is your fault?
31:17You're beautiful.
31:20And you're beautiful.
31:22And you're beautiful.
31:24And you're beautiful.
31:26And you're beautiful.
31:28And you're beautiful.
31:30And you're... you're...
31:32Blue?
31:34Are you the Blue Fairy?
31:36It's pronounced Blueberry.
31:38What exactly are you doing here?
31:40Looking for my dad. We were out at sea.
31:43Oh? Why were you out at sea?
31:46At that exact moment, Pistachio had a choice to make.
31:50He knew that telling the truth was the right thing to do.
31:54But if he did, the Blueberry would know
31:57that Pistachio was the reason Gelato was lost.
32:00So, he lied.
32:03My father is a fisherman.
32:06And we were out catching the largest fish you've ever seen.
32:10Remember what happened the first time Pistachio lied?
32:17Is that really why your father was out at sea?
32:21Yep. That's the whole truth.
32:25What's happening? What am I going to do?
32:28I can't go through life like this.
32:30I'll get used for a coat rack.
32:34How do I get my nose back to normal?
32:37You must listen to your father, Pistachio.
32:40What? How do you know my name?
32:43Gelato loves you and he wants what is best for you.
32:47You must learn from his teaching or you will never be happy.
32:51Well, if you know so much about me,
32:53why don't you just tell me what I should do next?
32:56You know what you should do.
32:58Listen to your father. Tell the truth.
33:01Well, I must go. A good friend needs my help.
33:05Au revoir. Don't give up hope.
33:10I know. If I can find Gelato's workshop,
33:13maybe that cricket will know what to do.
33:20This is crazy. My nose keeps throwing me off balance.
33:24Hey, what are you doing? I'm working here.
33:26Sorry.
33:28Ah-choo!
33:30Oh, for crying out loud.
33:37Why there, cricket. I am not a cricket.
33:40I am a caterpillar. Silly cricket.
33:43Huh? Cricket?
33:45I am not a... Pistachio, you are alive.
33:48I'm looking for Gelato.
33:50Me too. That's why I'm here.
33:52I'm looking for Gelato.
33:54Pistachio, where are you?
33:57I'm looking for Gelato.
33:59Me too. That's why I left him all by myself
34:02in this big, mean, caterpillar-eating world.
34:05I don't eat caterpillars.
34:07Good. I hear we are quite tasty.
34:09Who's with the ducklings?
34:11Oh, a good friend is helping me out.
34:13No, I'm a blueberry, but I get that all the time.
34:18No, I've never played Monopoly, but I'll give it a go.
34:22What is this story with your smeller?
34:25My what?
34:26Your nose. It looks like a sapling.
34:29Oh, it's a long story.
34:31Not as long as that honker sticking out of your face.
34:34Cricket, Gelato is lost, and it's all my fault.
34:43Why are you smiling?
34:45Gelato would be very pleased.
34:47What? Why?
34:49Because you are doing what he said.
34:52He told you to take responsibility for your mistakes.
34:55That means you listened.
34:57He would be so proud of you right now.
35:02Oh, goody, goody, gumdrops.
35:04Where are you taking us now, Horsey?
35:06Horsey? Hello, Horsey.
35:09On there.
35:12Whoa!
35:24Look at that. A flying cricket and a boy made out of wood.
35:29That's enough time in the sun, dear.
35:38We are floating.
35:40We are sinking.
35:42This couldn't get any worse.
35:54Deja vu just isn't strong enough.
36:00Where are we?
36:02We are inside a big fish.
36:05And we're still alive?
36:07What? Oh, you can stay alive inside a fish for two or three days.
36:10Trust me, I know.
36:12Help me look for some angels.
36:17Wait, I hear something.
36:20It sounds like music.
36:23That does not sound like angel music.
36:26It sounds...
36:28Italian!
36:31We should have listened to what Mama told us.
36:36When it was bedtime, she'd cuddle and hold us.
36:41And say, boys, please remember your poor Uncle Clark.
36:46Never take meatballs to sea after dark.
36:52They look a little like tomato.
36:55I'd say more brando.
36:58I'd say more brando. Or dinero.
37:04Wait a second.
37:06We have found Gelato's long-lost brothers.
37:09Mamma mia!
37:11A sorry old uncle sat out with a meatball
37:16Rolling the stormy seas just after nightfall
37:21And so he discovered this fact so infernal
37:25Great fish that love meatballs are also nocturnal
37:30But we didn't listen for pride or for spite
37:34We set out a-rowing with meatballs at night
37:38And just like our uncle, oh, God rest his soul
37:43For want of a meatball, a fish ate us whole
37:49It makes me miss my father even more.
37:53Don't you get me crying.
37:56So, children, please listen to your dads and mamas
38:01As they tuck you in in your footie pajamas
38:06Their wisdom will save you from trouble, no question
38:10Of waking up beside a fish's intestine
38:15We're sorry, Mama, that we didn't listen
38:19Our hearts are now heavy, our faces they glisten
38:23With tears of regret for our pride and our spite
38:28And that we took meatballs to sea in the night
38:35Gelato!
38:37Who said my name?
38:38Father?
38:40Pistachio?
38:41Father!
38:42Pistachio!
38:50Cricket!
38:52Your nose!
38:53Oh, Dad!
38:54I spent the five cents and I went and I tried to win more money
38:57Then I lost and I almost drowned and then I lied
39:00And I almost crashed because there was no horsey
39:02Till I got eaten by this fish!
39:07Artoo?
39:08I am so, so, so, so sorry!
39:12It's okay, Pistachio.
39:14Who's with the ducklings?
39:16They're in good hands.
39:17Oh, the park place with the hotel!
39:21That's $1,500, please.
39:26I prayed that I would find you again someday.
39:29So did I.
39:30Hey, we're starving here.
39:32Let's eat.
39:33Oh, I almost forgot.
39:34Pistachio, Cricket, these are my brothers.
39:37How have you stayed alive all these years?
39:40That is fish.
39:41It swallowed our delivery boat.
39:43He loves eating Italian.
39:45Including us.
39:46It's not so bad, really.
39:48While we try to get home, we eat and we sing.
39:50And sing and eat.
39:51You know what I'm saying?
39:52I bet you do.
39:53I bet you know what I'm saying.
39:55And we got loads of oil for the lamps.
39:58Keeps the mood lighting going, you know?
40:01Hmm.
40:02We got to do something about that nose.
40:05That's why I always say,
40:07if you have a nose,
40:09we got to do something about that nose.
40:11That's why I always say,
40:13never leave home without your tools.
40:15I have never heard you say that.
40:17I always say it starting now.
40:25Hooray!
40:27Boy, I'm starving.
40:29Where's all the food?
40:30Oh, we got plenty of food.
40:32Hey, guys, we're out of food.
40:36We're going to die!
40:41We've got to get out of here!
40:44Oh, Pistachio, I'm so sorry.
40:47I wanted so much more for your life than this.
40:49I wanted zoo trips and juggling lessons.
40:52Hey, we could always eat the castor oil.
40:55What are you, nuts?
40:56Castor oil.
40:57Makes you throw up.
40:58Forget about it.
40:59At that moment,
41:01Pistachio had an idea that could save them all.
41:05Hey, everybody,
41:06if we could open and dump all these barrels of castor oil,
41:09then maybe the fish will throw up.
41:11Quick, roll all the barrels down here
41:13where my father's tools are.
41:17Wait.
41:18The crow's nest.
41:19If we drop the barrels from that height,
41:21they'll break and splash all over his stomach.
41:24I don't know.
41:25I think the barrels are too strong to break.
41:27Pistachio.
41:28Dad, I know wood.
41:30I am wood.
41:32Yes, but I made you.
41:34Trust me.
41:36It was the moment of truth.
41:38Pistachio had to choose between what he thought was best
41:41and what his father knew was best.
41:44Okay, Dad.
41:46He chose wisely, and he listened.
41:56Here we go!
42:01Ah!
42:20Hey, it's not working.
42:22I really thought it would work.
42:24And now we got no food
42:26and just a little oil in the lamp.
42:29Oh, oh, great. See that?
42:31Now we're in the dark.
42:35Wow, someone's really hungry.
42:37Was that your stomach, Espresso?
42:39That was not my stomach.
42:40Hey, Dorito.
42:43Hey, it wasn't me.
42:47Wait, could that be...
42:49Here we go!
42:51Somebody, pick up the cricket!
42:53I thought you were a caterpillar.
42:55Whatever! Call me!
43:00Ah!
43:09That was disgusting!
43:11I smell like linguine with clam sauce.
43:14And meatballs.
43:16Good thinking, Pistachio.
43:18You're a great listener.
43:19Thanks, Dad.
43:21Well, now what do we do?
43:23We are in the middle of the ocean.
43:25Still got your tools?
43:27Always.
43:28Let's build a raft.
43:30We can use the canvas for a sail.
43:32Just tell me what to do, Dad.
43:34I promise I'll listen closely.
43:37Look at this guy.
43:38What a bright boy.
43:42So instead of Pistachio getting his own way,
43:45he got something even better.
43:48He became part of a real family.
43:51And it was all because he listened to his father.
43:55Oh, Dad. I love it.
43:58It's from the museum gift shop.
44:00Happy birthday, Pistachio.
44:03And so Gelato, Pistachio,
44:05all his brother ducklings and cricket...
44:08Caterpillar!
44:10You are my hero.
44:12...lived happily ever after.
44:15A mother and a father
44:17know the ways to live life right.
44:20So listen to those children
44:22and your days will turn out right.
44:25So listen, little children,
44:28and your life will turn out right.
44:38Wasn't that a great story, Bob?
44:40It sure was.
44:42Larry, what's everybody doing here?
44:45I invited the cast to come check out the new kitchen.
44:48What do you think, guys?
44:50What you done with the place?
44:52Baloo. Very tasteful.
44:54And ambience, I can't refuse.
44:56Guys, it's a throw pillow and blue walls.
44:59If you don't mind, we're trying to wrap up the show.
45:03We're over here by Cordy to talk about what we've learned today.
45:07And so what we've learned
45:09applies to our lives today.
45:12God has a lot to say in his book.
45:15You know, a throw pillow can really make all the difference.
45:19Today we know that God's word is for everyone.
45:23Now that our song is done, we'll take a look.
45:27This is a very fancy computer.
45:29That's pretty fancy.
45:30You know what you can do with this?
45:32You can go online.
45:34You can find more blue walls with a computer.
45:37Let's see if Cordy has a verse for us today.
45:41Honor your father and mother.
45:43This is the first commandment with a promise.
45:46If you honor your father and mother, things will go well for you,
45:49and you will have a long life on the earth.
45:52Ephesians 6, 1 through 3.
45:54That's right, Larry.
45:55When Pistachio did whatever he wanted to do
45:58and didn't listen to Gelato,
46:00he ended up in big trouble.
46:02But then he learned that Gelato was older and wiser
46:05and that he loved him and wanted what was best for him.
46:09Just like my mom and dad, they love me and want what's best for me.
46:12That's why I should listen to them.
46:14You got it, Liam.
46:16Thanks, Bob. Thanks, Larry.
46:20Wow, that is so cool.
46:24Let it all out, big guy. Let it all out.
46:27That's okay.
46:28What's the matter with you?
46:30Always remember, God made you special.
46:33And he loves you very much.
46:36Bye!
46:37I love that pellet.
46:39What?
46:40It's a fancy place.
46:44It's a fancy place.
47:14Wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee-wee
47:44Ahhhhk......
47:53Ahhhh-aaaah-aaah
48:08Ahhhhhh....
48:13Someday the winds will blow
48:19And we shall be free once more
48:25And I will come home
48:33In the day
48:38For the land of the free
48:49Where have all the staplers gone?

50:11Oh my soul
50:14I won't fight, my God
50:17How can we do this?
50:19We've got to let everyone know
50:22Praise the Lord, oh my soul
50:29And as I did pray, eventually
50:31It didn't happen right away
50:33But eventually I received
50:35I received a touch from the Holy Spirit
50:37The assurance of eternal life
50:39And I received a rebirth

51:59I was brought up in the church
52:02Church was like eating
52:04It was mandatory
52:06All my brothers and my one sister
52:09We were involved in the music ministry
52:12And I led a lot of songs
52:14Because I was a good singer
52:17When I left home at the age of 18
52:21To go to college in the military
52:23That's what really changed my life
52:28I didn't have to go to church
52:30Like I went at home
52:35So instead of going to church on Sunday
52:38I was at the club on Saturday
52:40And Sunday morning I was sleeping
52:46But that did not last long
52:51Michael Strong says a case of mistaken identity
52:54Left him falsely accused of murder
52:57All this was new to us
53:00At that time I was the only one
53:02That had ever been in any type of trouble
53:05Our family just didn't go like that
53:08To avoid the death penalty
53:10Attorneys encouraged Michael to enter a plea of no contest
53:13No contest, no plea
53:16Attorneys encouraged Michael to enter a plea of no contest
53:19No contest is you're not saying that you did it
53:23And you're not saying you didn't do it
53:26A Texas judge sentenced Michael to a life in prison
53:29With the possibility of parole
53:31His attorney tried to offer some encouragement
53:34You're a young man now
53:36You're only in your early 20s
53:41You just got to give 20 years and you'll come home
53:45Your father's young now
53:47He'll just be about 70 years old
53:50If that old when you come home
53:52And it didn't happen
53:55My dad died on Father's Day
53:59June 21st, 1998
54:03They had to send me a video
54:05And I had to watch my dad's entire funeral on a video
54:16When I really got back into the word
54:20The way I was supposed to
54:23And then music ministry
54:26That helped me do what I needed to do
54:31I just went straight and I was on the praise team
54:35And before you knew it, I was over all the choirs
54:38Michael served as a music director
54:40At the Darrington Unit Prison and Correctional Facility
54:43He wrote, produced, and performed
54:45All the choir's arrangements
54:47And when the prison's traveling choir
54:49Was picked to perform on TBN
54:51Michael made sure they were ready
54:53T.D. Jake's Church
54:55The Potter's House in Dallas, Texas
54:57Was the first venue that the traveling choir went to
55:01And TBN, along with us
55:05Working with that choir
55:07We brought a lot of guys to Christ
55:12Because these same guys
55:14That were sitting up here as gang members and stuff
55:17They also went to church
55:19We bridged that gap bringing them back
55:22And TBN helped them
55:24I've seen a lot of prison choirs
55:26That was one of the best I've ever seen
55:28Bill Lloyd met Michael on a prison visit
55:30And knew Michael was a leader the first time they met
55:33He was engaging
55:35He was fully enforced, engaged in conversation
55:38When he directed the choir
55:41It was like one of the greatest conductors you've ever seen
55:45And I was totally blown away by that
55:48Because it showed his level of commitment
55:51That he was dedicated
55:53You could also tell he was walking in his gift
55:56After 25 years in prison, Michael was released
55:59A misplaced court document proved he was innocent
56:03I was 47 years old when I came home
56:06God had a plan for me
56:08And I didn't know that it was going to be as destructive as it was
56:12But that's how it turned out
56:18When you're in prison 25 years
56:21And seeing the things that he's seen
56:25It's really a living hell in a lot of ways
56:29But you could just see in his heart he had a plan
56:33You cannot do a substantial amount of time
56:37And not come out here and have your business together
56:40I say either you're going to plan to fail
56:42Or you're going to fail the plan
56:44One of the two
56:47I went to school for 14 years in there
56:50I got an associate, a bachelor's, a master's, and two doctor's degrees
56:58Dr. Michael Strong is a certified prison chaplain
57:03And he counsels current and former inmates
57:06Helping them adjust to life on the outside
57:10I just want to be a light
57:12That beacon of light where guys can come to
57:15And know that I'm going to give them some real advice
57:20God has blessed me to be before good men and women
57:24To help me to press forward
57:27Dr. Strong could have come out of the system bitter, angry
57:32But what he did, he sought to help other people
57:36Before I go to sleep every night, this is my prayer
57:40Lord, I don't know if you're going to allow me to get up in the morning
57:44But if you'll allow me to get up in the morning
57:47Put somebody in front of me that I can be a blessing to
57:51That's what Dr. Strong means
57:54When victory begins to discover that it has a voice
58:01Don't let the enemy do all the trash talking
58:04Don't let the enemy do all the threats and the fear-mongering among your life
58:09Don't let the world and other people's opinion even control the narrative of your life
