00:00Police have obtained a seven-day order to remand 19 members of Global Ikhwan Services
00:07and Business Holdings Top Management, including its CEO Nasiruddin Ali and his wife.
00:14Seven women and 12 men were brought before Magistrate Wan Nuranisa Ngadirin at the Shah
00:18Alam Magistrate's Court today.
00:21They will be remanded until September 25th.
00:25All of them are being investigated under Section 32A of the Child Act 2001, Section
00:30233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, and Section 14 of the Anti-Trafficking
00:36in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2022.
00:41Earlier today, Inspector General of Police Rasaruddin Hussain confirmed the arrests
00:45of the 19 people.
00:48Three men also claim trial at the Seremban Sessions Court today to 14 counts of sexual
00:53assault on boys at a GISBH-linked religious school.
00:58Last Wednesday, police rescued 402 children from 20 welfare homes in Selangor and Nagrisimbilan,
