00:00The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:04has tightened the medical service in a faraway place.
00:07It's through the Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics,
00:11that's why Bernard Ferreira was there.
00:15President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. led the turnover and send-off ceremony
00:19of the Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics
00:21in Manila North Harbor Point in Tondo, Manila.
00:24First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos,
00:28Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa,
00:30Interior Secretary Benjamin Avalos, Jr.,
00:32and several government officials.
00:34The mobile clinics will be distributed
00:36in 28 provinces in the Zamboanga Peninsula,
00:39Northern Mindanao, Davao Region,
00:41Soxergen, Karaga,
00:43and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
00:46These are just a few in the administration
00:48for a healthier Filipino
00:50under the Universal Health Care Act.
00:52These mobile clinics
00:55are part of our extensive
00:57and long-term plan
00:59under the Health Sector
01:018-Point Action Agenda.
01:03Through the mobile clinics
01:05and the help of the local government,
01:07we expect
01:09that the medical service
01:11will be brought closer
01:13to places that need
01:15more attention for a long time.
01:17The geographically
01:19isolated and disadvantaged
01:21areas,
01:24the mobile clinics
01:26will be visited in various provinces
01:28in the Philippines
01:30to provide free medical services
01:32including x-ray, ultrasound,
01:34and blood screening.
01:36It also includes basic equipment
01:38that can help in the early diagnosis
01:40of various diseases.
01:42The mobile clinics will be used
01:44in times of medical mission,
01:46calamity, and disaster.
01:48It is surprising
01:50that they provide all the equipment
01:53when we used to call it
01:55a medical mission.
01:57Maybe now it is not a medical mission anymore
01:59because it is beyond a medical mission.
02:01Because new mobile clinics
02:03are included, the medical results
02:05will be released soon.
02:07The government also aims to have a medical record
02:09for each resident
02:11or patient.
02:13Many of our people,
02:15many of our countrymen,
02:17until now, have no medical record.
02:19When they enter the hospital,
02:21the doctor
02:23and the staff of the hospital
02:25are still taking care of them
02:27starting from square one.
02:29That is why this program
02:31is giving us
02:33a great opportunity.
02:35President Marcos Jr.
02:37thanked First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos
02:39for her Love for All project.
02:41Liza
02:43has a project called
02:45Love for All.
02:47They bring it to each province.
02:50Liza, I have nothing more to say.
02:52Just continue what you are doing.
02:54What you are doing is a great help
02:56to our healthcare.
02:58Today,
03:0014 out of 28 mobile clinics
03:02were brought to Cagayan de Oro City.
03:04The remaining units
03:06will be delivered to General Santos City tomorrow.
03:08Because of this,
03:10mobile clinics were able to deliver
03:12to Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
