00:15She is trying to reach this rocky outcrop.
00:18It's the top of a mountain buried in the ice.
00:25Known as a nunatak, it's the only place she might find food.
00:34Like many young pikas, she is searching for a place where she can claim her own territory.
00:54She soon discovers she's not alone here.
01:02But there seems to be plenty of food and room to stake out her own territory.
01:10In just six short weeks, the snow will be back.
01:17She needs to start caching food for winter now.
01:34All pikas are vegetarians, except the collared pikas.
01:44Scavenging dead birds will help her survive the long winter here.
01:53The pika's favorite part to eat is the brain.
01:58The demands of life in the cold have made them the cutest zombies ever.
