00:00This is good news, starting in January, prescription glasses, wheelchair, shoes and walkers will be free for members of PhilHealth or Philippine Health Insurance Corporation or PhilHealth.
00:13That is the latest announcement of House Deputy Majority Leader for Communications Erwin Tulfo
00:19Since the leadership of the House of Representatives helped the officials of PhilHealth,
00:25according to Tulfo, it was done in the way of the House leadership led by Speaker Martin Romualdez,
00:32in accordance with the wishes of the Marcos administration.
00:35It is common for our fellow countrymen to give them wheelchairs, glasses, walkers and shoes,
00:42and when they talk to PhilHealth, it is given to them.
00:47According to PhilHealth President and CEO, Emanuele Desma Jr., they will form a group to support this initiative.
00:56And if it is fully approved, they expect to release the policies on this at the end of the year, so that it can be used in January.
