00:00The Kuala Lumpur High Court has once again deferred its decision on Swatch's application
00:07for a judicial review to challenge the government's seizure of pride-themed watches.
00:13The Edge reported that Datuk Amarjeet Singh postponed his decision, fixing November 25th
00:19to deliver his verdict, after originally scheduling it on July 4th.
00:24In May last year, authorities raided Swatch stores at 11 malls across Malaysia, confiscating
00:30172 watches they described as having LGBT elements.
00:35The seizure was in line with provisions under Section 7 of the Printing Presses and Publications
00:40Act.
00:41In its suit challenging the seizure and the return of the items as well as unspecified
00:45damages, Swatch said its trading reputation has been damaged.
00:50It also said the watches did not promote any sexual activity, but merely a fun and
00:55joyous expression of peace and love.
