GISB Probe: Cops deny animal abuse and overzealous action allegations
Police have dismissed claims of mistreatment of animals seized during the Ops Global raids.
At a press conference on Monday (Sept 23), Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain stated that the authorities are collaborating with the Veterinary Department and local councils to ensure the animals' welfare.
The IGP also denied allegations of overzealous action against Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB), emphasising that all actions were in accordance with existing laws.
