PAGCOR official admits no strong evidence to support info that an ex-PNP chief helped Guo slip out of PH

00:05General Raul Villanueva admitted that claims suggesting a former Philippine National Police
00:10or PNP chief aided Alice Guo's escape and received payola or pogo payroll are merely hearsay.
00:17This admission followed discussions with Criminal Investigation and Detection Group or CIDG
00:23director, Police Major General Leo Francisco, who noted Villanueva himself indicated there
00:29was no solid evidence to support the allegations presented in a Senate hearing. Consequently,
00:35the CIDG has decided to no longer investigate the former top cops implicated in the issue.
00:41The PNP has yet to determine whether to file charges against Villanueva.
