PhilHealth to provide free prescription glasses, wheelchairs, crutches to members beginning January 2025

00:08This was announced by House Deputy Majority Leader for Communications Representative Erwin Tulfo
00:14following a meeting of the House leadership with PhilHealth officials.
00:18This was made possible by the House leadership led by Speaker Martin Romales
00:22in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:28Citizens are requesting for the said items.
00:31PhilHealth agreed to provide this during the dialogue with House Solace.
00:35PhilHealth President and CEO Emmanuel Ledesma, Jr. said
00:39they will be forming a group that will focus on this initiative
00:42and if approved, policies will be released by the end of the year.
