00:00I was Gaston in Beauty and the Beast and he's a bit of a baddie, but this is probably the
00:05baddest baddie that I have been, because he's called Fleshcreep and he hates the children
00:11and he assists the giant, he's the henchman of the giant Blunderbort, so yeah I'm looking
00:16forward to getting my teeth into that and getting boodlocks.
00:19My favourite thing about doing Panto is that it brings families together, you know, the
00:23kids and the parents and the grandparents, they all come together and they all get something
00:27different out of the show, you know, the kids love the slapstick and the silliness
00:30and the gags and the parents love the singing and, you know, everyone gets something from
00:36a pantomime and it's the first time that a lot of people come to the theatre and hopefully
00:40if we do our job right they'll come back, so it feels quite important in that way that
00:44it's encouraging the audiences of tomorrow to come back to the theatre.
00:48Doing TV and theatre is very different, the great thing about live theatre is you get
00:52to see the audience's reactions straight away, sometimes, you know, you're doing TV and you'll
00:56maybe have to wait six months but doing a pantomime, doing live theatre, you get to
01:00see what they think straight away and there's something really exciting about that.
