00:03Once again, this is the very first golf course
00:04I ever filmed at in Arizona.
00:06Moved here four years ago.
00:08Great track, Cave Creek, cool spot, great bars,
00:10Buffalo Chip, the whole thing.
00:12Shout out to Truly.
00:13We're gonna get to the Truly tequila sodas.
00:14We're playing the eighth, 10th, and 11th holes.
00:16The reason we're not playing the ninth hole
00:17is because 110 degrees out, my phone got too hot.
00:21It wouldn't turn on until it got cool.
00:23I couldn't wait for all the groups behind me forever,
00:25so I had to play the ninth hole
00:26with just that temperature thing on my phone,
00:28so I couldn't play it.
00:29Eighth hole, driver, it's 272.
00:31We're trying to drive it up onto the green.
00:33Hit this one a little bit out to the right.
00:35Ended up pin high, though.
00:36We're in this bunker, which is a good swing, good tempo.
00:39If you look at that driver swing,
00:40that's the tempo we're trying to work with, baby,
00:42and we just don't do it that often.
00:43We get nervous, we get jittery.
00:44Here we are in this bunker.
00:46A little bit of a downhill lie.
00:47Not the greatest lie either.
00:49You can't really tell from there,
00:50but it's kind of in like a little rake indentation,
00:53if you will.
00:54There's a little critter running across the green.
00:55Let's try not to hit that.
00:56Bunker game's been good lately,
00:58and this is another solid one,
00:59but it just kind of lands in the front
01:01with no spin, rolls way past.
01:03You can see my body language, not that happy with that.
01:05So we've got a long look for birdie
01:07after a good tee shot up there.
01:08Pin high from 272.
01:10Not a great lag putt.
01:12Thought I read it pretty well.
01:13It went a little bit right past the hole.
01:15You leave yourself a treacherous one.
01:16Should be able to clean this up, and he can't.

01:20Had not been putting it well that day.
01:22We had to skip the ninth hole once again,
01:23so we go to the 10th hole as a 514-yard par five.
01:27Does not sit up that well for my ball flight lately.
01:31As you noticed, I've been cutting the ball
01:32a little kind of inside-out action.
01:34No bueno, so we're trying to line it up down the right
01:36and somehow hit this one right to left if we can,
01:38and I smoked this one.
01:39You can tell body language.
01:40I liked it.
01:41It was a little bit down the left,
01:43so we're kind of watching it.
01:44Got up there, and it was only 164 yards out.
01:47I don't typically hit it that far.
01:49It's hot.
01:50It's firm in Arizona,
01:51and we may have struck a cart path.
01:52Hard to tell, but it was in the middle of the fairway.
01:54We got an eight-iron in front pin
01:56protected by these bunkers.
01:58Pushed it just a little bit out to the right,
02:00and once again, we're gonna have ourselves a bunker shot,
02:02which is not the worst-case scenario
02:04because our bunker game's been good.

02:30Pretty straightforward shot.
02:32Got a good lie.
02:32Setup needs to be good.
02:34Tempo needs to be good, and this one looks pretty good.

02:37Came out just a little past the hole,
02:40but that should be a pretty makeable little look for birdie.
02:43We're inside of 10 feet.
02:44Lining up for a little left-to-righter.
02:45As you can see, kind of a sunset.
02:47We're getting into the golden hour era here.
02:48Truly's looking delicious.
02:50This view of the mountains is looking delicious.
02:53This putt was not looking delicious.
02:56Just yanked it, hit it way too hard.

02:57Hopefully we can clean this one up
02:59and not have back-to-back three putts, and we can.

03:03at the Parancho Manana.
03:04Very cool little part three.
03:06I think every golf course should have a short part three,
03:07something that's under 150 yards.
03:09This one was only 121 yards,
03:11so we got a little pitching wedge to this right pin.
03:13Again, I've been kind of being able to hit the ball,
03:15I would say cut, but almost like a push quite a bit,
03:18and so this feels and looks pretty good to me.
03:20Nice tempo, nice strike.
03:22That wedge is just right at the pin.
03:25Comes down about pin high.
03:26We love that one.
03:27Got up there, and the putt does look a little trickier
03:30than I thought it was going to be,
03:31and a little bit deeper than I thought it was.
03:33Probably hit that one 124.
03:35Supposed to hit that one 121,
03:37but we got ourselves a good look for birdie.
03:38Let's close it out.
03:39This was actually a great putt.
03:40I just hit it a hair too hard.
03:42As you can see at the end,
03:43it was snap and ends up well left of the hole.
03:45We just got to clean this one up
03:46and get out of here one over through three.
03:48No, what a horrific effort right there.
03:50I got to say, three greens in regulation
03:52and two over through three.
03:54The putter was just not working that day,
03:55but truly tequila sodas were working.

03:59You got to get out there if you're ever in the area.

04:07Some wacky holes, which I enjoy.
