A police search in Victoria for the body of Samantha Murphy has once again failed to find any trace of the 51-year-old. The latest search concentrated on dense bushland at Grenville 25 kilometres south of Ballarat.

00:00Police have once again been unable to locate the remains of Samantha Murphy, eight months
00:07after the 51-year-old went missing while going for a jog near Ballarat.
00:12The search has focused on forest near Grenville, about half an hour south of Ballarat, and
00:18involved specialist teams from Victoria and New South Wales, including mounted units,
00:23the Dog Squad and the Missing Persons Team.
00:26The search area is a short drive from where Ms Murphy's mobile phone was found by investigators
00:31in May.
00:32It's understood the forested area where the search was undertaken has a number of known
00:36and unknown mine shafts, prompting safety concerns.
00:40The search was conducted in difficult, wet conditions, but late this afternoon it was
00:44called off without success.
00:47In March, 22-year-old Patrick Oren Stevenson was charged with Ms Murphy's alleged murder.
00:53It's expected he will front court again in November.
