00:00Former PNP Chief Benjamin Acorda Jr. was accused of not being involved in any of Pogo's operations.

00:07This is the result of a leaked photo in the Senate where he was with some of the Pogo personnel.

00:15Jun Veneracion was there.

00:20When this photo of former PNP Chief Benjamin Acorda Jr. was released in the Senate,

00:24he was with some of the personnel who were involved in the illegal Pogo operation.

00:28Acorda was hurt.

00:29It really hurts because for 37 years, I tried to keep my records clean,

00:34but just for one picture or many pictures,

00:38and with so many inventions, it was destroyed right away.

00:43But it was included in the service.

00:47He was not involved in any of the illegal Pogo operations and illegal transactions.

00:53He was also involved in the order to raid Pogo in Bantarlac this March.

00:57I never tolerated or transacted illegal activities with my friends.

01:03Even if they are involved, if there is any assistance for their country,

01:06and if there are any negotiations, I am just legal.

01:11I did not transact illegally.

01:13Retired Brigadier General Raul Villanueva's PACOR official said on September 17

01:19that there are unverified intel reports that a former PNP chief helped Go and he was in Payolo, Panaumanu.

01:27In his face-off with the Senate yesterday,

01:29he asked for forgiveness from former PNP chiefs who were affected by what he said.

01:34I can face anybody squarely, eye to eye, without flinching an eye.

01:38I can say that we are clean there.

01:41That's why I left. We have nothing to do there.

01:43When he ran away, I did not accept money from him.

01:48The Senate said that they will invite Acorda for the next hearing.

01:52Acorda is ready even though he has not yet received an invitation from the Senate.
