प्रतापगढ़. जिले के नवनियुक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक आईपीएस विनीत कुमार बंसल ने बुधवार को जिला पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालय में पदभार ग्रहण किया। अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक बनवारीलाल मीणा समेत अन्य पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बंसल की अगवानी की। पुलिस जवानों ने गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर दिया। कार्यभार ग्रहण करने के बाद उन्होंने विभिन्न शाखाओं का निरीक्षण किया तथा पुलिस जवानों से बात कर कामकाज की जानकारी ली। एस पी बंसल के पदभार ग्रहण करने के बाद राज. पत्रिका ने उनसे बातचीत की, जिसमें उन्होंने बताया कि आमजन में विश्वास व अपराधियों में भय के ध्येय के साथ बेहतर पुलिङ्क्षसग उनकी प्राथमिकता रहेगी। अपराधों पर नियंत्रण करना, कानून व्यवस्था को मजबूत बनाना और शासन की जीरो टॉलरेंस नीति के मुताबिक काम करना उनकी पहली प्राथमिकता है। जिले में अवैध मादक की तस्करी पर भी रोक व प्रभावी कार्रवाई पर विशेष फोकस रहेगा।
