00:00Dawn, tell us a little bit about your role in Yvonne Speaks.
00:05How excited are you for this short to be premiering?
00:07Oh my gosh, I'm so excited for the West Coast premiere.
00:11I played the role of Mrs. Abernathy.
00:14She was a southern lady, for the most part, but she was a little mischievous and I got
00:20to do a regional southern dialect, which I love doing.
00:24Sounds like a lot of accents in this film, which is super exciting.
00:28Give us one of your favorite memories from the set.
00:30I think one of my favorite memories was when our friend Dustin, he's not here tonight,
00:35but he was the bartender and he was serving us champagne and one of the takes he just
00:43dropped all the glasses and we all lost it.
00:46We thought it was so funny and, you know, it was just...
00:50I hope he's okay.
00:51It was bound to happen, but it was like a blue...
00:53Just the usual on the film set, right?
00:57Right.
00:58So when audiences watch this film, what's an emotion that you want them to have after
01:02leaving that theater?
01:04After leaving, I want them to be happy.
01:07I want them to be laughing about it.
01:10I mean, there are parts that are, like, uncomfortable, that might make people uncomfortable, but
01:16then at the end, I just want them to come away with a good feeling and chuckle about
01:21it.
01:22Well, that is a testament to a great film or a great short, is it makes people feel
01:26something, right?
01:27Good or bad, they're leaving with a certain feeling.
01:29Well, I cannot wait for audiences to watch the short and congratulations on the premiere.
01:34Thank you so much.
01:35I'm so excited to be here and so excited to meet you.
01:37Thank you so much.
01:39Have a wonderful rest of your night.
01:41You too.
