00:00So the titular character of Yvonne Speaks is here joining us on the red carpet.
00:08Talk to me a little bit about the entire process.
00:10I mean, coming to a film festival, it's a long journey.
00:13So how's that been for you?
00:14Yeah.
00:15Oh, it's been wonderful.
00:17So the actual film itself took a lot of preparation because I do a lot of different accents and
00:24speak a lot of other languages, not very well, to be honest, but that's okay.
00:28I'm not meant to.
00:30And so that took a lot of preparation.
00:32And then just the entire ensemble was incredible, such a fun project to work on.
00:38Honestly, we were just like having the best time and really long hours, but so worth it,
00:43you know, very rewarding.
00:45And then we've all gone off and done other things because we did this project, I think
00:49two years ago.
00:50So, yeah, it's been wonderful and I'm just so excited to be back here in Los Angeles
00:55now with this film festival.
00:57Yeah.
00:58What is one of your favorite memories from the set or do you have a crazy experience,
01:03something that the audience might not know about?
01:05Give us the inside scoop.
01:07The inside scoop.
01:08Okay.
01:09So when you will see the film, everything, there's a big section that's just one shot.
01:14And of course, like, we know that that's quite challenging to do, right?
01:19So there were so many different places that I had to hit my mark.
01:23And we have a lot of outtakes.
01:25I did a lot of other accents that aren't actually in the film.
01:29And what else can I think of?
01:32What was one of your favorite accents that you got to do?
01:34Can you give us a little taste?
01:36Oh, I love the French.
01:41Oh, la la, the Italian, it's quite fun too.
01:47That was pretty good.
01:48I'm sold.
01:49Pasta, pasta.
01:50Right, pasta, Ferrari.
01:51Ciao, bella.
01:52Ciao, bella.
01:53Oh, give her a raise.
01:54Put her in another film.
01:55Ciao, bella.
01:56Ciao, bella.
01:57You know, they say that to everybody.
01:58So cute.
01:59Yeah.
02:00No, it was great.
02:01All of it.
02:02It was just such a fun, beautiful experience.
02:03And we started off having a Swedish accent in it as well, which I don't know if you've
02:04tried a Swedish accent, but that's like one of the hardest accents in the whole wide world
02:05because they speak English really well.
02:06And so their accents like so sweet.
02:07And I love that.
02:08I love that.
02:09I love that.
02:10I love that.
